Hello, I hate to do this, I really want to finish this story, but I am realizing that I’m not yet skilled enough to work on two novels at once. I have completed the first volume of Aeros and I thought that I would switch to working on The Dissident at that point. I tried to do this actually, but both worlds are very vast and the concepts of the stories are in some ways similar but also very different. Each novel has its own tone, cast of characters, and setting which requires me to be in a different headspace when writing. I didn’t realize just how challenging that would be for me to switch between the stories, even at the end of a volume. I’m definitely not done with The Dissident, but it is going to be a long while before I get back to writing it so in fairness I felt it appropriate that I give you all this update. Thanks for your support and I’m sorry to disappoint you all.
