Cassie Harold was a young girl, with blonde hair she often held in a ponytail, and beautiful grass green eyes. She found it quite enjoyable to go outside and explore the area in which she lived. Being no older than nine, she often did not stay out long alone... Until one night, she did not return home. Her family awaited her return, but she was not seen for quite some time.
"Father..." Jeremy said, "Where is Cassie?"
Jeremy was Cassie's older brother, and now at the age of 15, was always eager to please his father, but definitely could smack talk with his sass. He wore his dark, long, brown hair down, and had bright, ocean blue eyes.
Theodore, otherwise known as Mr. Harold, sighed.
"Why would I know the answer to that, Jeremy?" he scoffed, "If you're so worried, go look for her yourself.."
Theodore was Jeremy and Cassie's father. A man who wore a sadistic smile when thinking, and although seemingly kind and alluring, was truly a cruel, cruel person beneath. He always had his hair combed back in a peculiar fashion, and usually was wearing some sort of a tie around his neck.
Jeremy sighed, and nodded, before excusing himself from the room. He slipped on his fabulous red boots and his dark, navy blue jacket, and ventured outside in search of his sister.
As he stepped foot out of his home, and felt the cold, Autumn breeze against his face, he knew it would be a long walk to find his sister... But, he began the journey either way, determined to find his supposedly lost sibling.
As he walked around town, calling out his sister's name, he stopped to find a hot-dog stand. Having been walking around for a long while, he was quite hungry. He rummaged around in his pocket for his wallet, only to find a measly $2... Just enough for a hot-dog. He purchased one, and gave his thanks, before continuing his search, hot-dog in hand as he bit into it, savoring its flavor. His father never allowed him hot-dogs or anything of the fast food variety, so this was quite the treat for him.

He continued to walk, before spotting a street rat crawl between his legs. He leaped up, dodging it, and watched it scurry off to a nearby alley... As he saw it run away, he suddenly froze... Was there something in there? He walked closer to the alley so he could catch a better glimpse of what was in there..
As he ventured further, he saw something behind a dumpster in the alley.. It was large, but not too large.. Just about the size of a child. He stepped closer, and realized it was indeed the exact size of a child... For it was a child. He quickly sprinted towards it, dropping to his knees next to the body, checking for any signs of life. Nothing. He turned the small body to get a better glimpse of it...
When before he knew it, he was sitting there, looking at his sister Cassie's face, her eyes and mouth wide open, like she was caught right in the middle of screaming. Blood trickled down her mouth, and out her nose as well.. A large stab wound was made apparent in her chest and back, as it appeared a blade cut clean through her torso...
Jeremy felt his eyes well up with tears as he stared at his sister's lifeless body.
