Prologue

Somewhere within a dragon's lair, a small portal slowly formed quietly, making the dragon irritated and woke up from it's sleep, it glared at the haughty intruder and thought of eating them whole when it paused.

Infront of it was a small cube, roughly the size of a human head, with varying numbers of red circles painted on it's sides, puny humans might call the cube big but it's small compared with it's mighty form.

The dragon's eyes widened in confusion and it's mouth stopped midway from preparing to chomp on the intruder, making it look like it's shocked.

The hoarder's mind quickly cleared up after a moment and it heasitantly growled out. "[Treasure Sight]"

A blue window popped up infront of it, telling the powerful beast of the weird cube thing before him-

Error! You cannot use an Object-Type Identify Skill on a living being!

It frowned at the implications, deeply in thought for several moments, before finally deciding that it was not worth it's time and went back to sleep.

Just as it was fully asleep, another portal spontaneously appeared below the cube and vanished as quickly as it came, taking the cube with it.

Elsewhere in a forest, a group of four humans could be seen fighting strange green humanoid beings, it was obvious that the green things outnumbered the humans.

Both sides fought desperately while the green beings slowly got the upperhand, a human female who looked young shouted loudly at another human, this one male but also young, making the male human flinched and quickly took out a dice.

He gripped the dice in his left hand in heasitation, clearly not willing to throw away the dice, the young female human yelled at him louder this time, which made him stop considering and finally threw at the green things.

He screamed and rushed away from the dice as the other humans followed rapidly after him, gasping for breath but still running, he glanced back and saw what he would remember until the day he died.

The dice rolled onto the middle of those green things and suddenly rattled on the ground for no reason, the monsters stopped in their tracks, looking down at the dice, wondering what it would do.

Then a flash of light overwhelmed the area, followed by a sound louder than thunder, then he got knocked off his feet and felt his back slammed hard against the earth, sending him to unconsciousness.

The last thing he thought was what happened to the green things, if the force was this strong even from this faraway, he sincerely prayed that not a single one of them survived, not sure if it's out of hope that they won't attack them anymore, or out of pity that they won't be needlessly tortured from the aftermath.

The same looking portal opened on the side of a dirt road, dropping the cube on the ground before closing for the last time.

The cube looked very small compared to before, it layed still for a minute, then it suddenly rattled violently, before stopping all motion again.

A badly bruised boy unsteadily stumbled along the dirt road, holding back his tears and yelping whenever his limping foot touched the ground.

He walked closer and closer to where the cube was and finally stepped on it, he let out a cry of pain and jumped backward, falling on his back, and causing him to yelp again.

He glared at the thing that made him tripped and picked it up, arching his arm like he was about to throw it, but he stopped at the last second, looking at the cube closely and seeing the weird red circles painted on it's sides, he lowered his arm and pocketed the cube, then he continued to limp along the dirt road, thinking he found a decent toy to sell.
