The rest of the school day passed in a blur of greetings and introductions. Lucielle breezed through them all but alas she didn't make any new friends since the incident of the cafeteria, but also no one else had tried harassing her either. The final bell of the day rang causing Lucielle to sigh. Glancing out the window beside her seat Lucielle smiled ruefully.
'From the heights of being the most sought after beauty of the school to being a social pariah in less than a day is quite the turn around. I dare say there are only a few anime MCs that have a quicker turnaround than I do.' Lucielle glanced back at the classroom but seeing no one left behind. Sighing louder this time she packed up her things before making her way out of the classroom and toward her locker. Arriving at her locker she began to put away the few books she had acquired before securing her locker. Staring at the locker for a moment Lucielle looked around and upon seeing no one was around she laid a hand upon her locker.
A faint sigil appeared briefly before disappearing just as quickly as it appeared. 'Locker secured. At the very least I'm not letting some of the more annoying transfer student tropes play out. No feces or garbage is going in my locker ever.' Nodding her head at her handiwork Lucielle turned to leave but immediately jumped in place as she saw a student standing a few feet away that hadn't been there before. 'What the hell? How did a mere human manage to get the drop on me? I even checked with my internal sight to make sure there was no one lurking around nearby.'
The student before Lucielle regarded her coldly before speaking from the depth of their hoodie. "You shouldn't be using your powers so wantonly around here. Especially that sickening charm field of yours. I don't know where you actually came from but we don't do things that obviously over here. I suggest you tone it down before you make more enemies than you have already." The voice of the student was very effeminate but since Lucielle couldn't see their face she wasn't sure what the gender of this was. Their general body build was just too androgynous for her to be able to tell by sight alone.
Raising an eyebrow Lucielle replied, "Um I don't know what you're talking about? Powers? Charm field? This isn't an anime or a comic so there's no way I have any of that. Also who else could have a problem with me besides Connor and his buddies? I haven't even talked to anyone besides Tina from my first class and I doubt she has any reason to hate me enough to be an enemy. I think you might wanna grow out of your chuuni phase before too much longer." Lucielle realized how hypocritical of her to say these words considering her own position but she had too thick of a skin to be bothered by it.

Sighing loudly the student turned away and began to walk away. "Consider this your final warning. If you keep it up I doubt you'll be able to handle the consequences." The student had disappeared around the corner they had come from. Their departure was so abrupt that Lucielle didn't even have the chance to retort to their last words. By the time Lucielle rounded the corner the student was long gone. "Who the hell was that? I don't remember seeing anyone wearing a hoodie at any point since that's against the dress code." Lucielle frowned as she went back to her locker and picked up the purse she dropped in the rush to chase after the mysterious individual. Walking through the empty halls Lucielle eventually left the front door of the school and took in the sight of the city for the first time.
Towering steel spires stretched into the sky as far as the eye could see. The roads were bustling with traffic and countless people meandered down the sidewalk outside the gates of the school. Sucking in a deep breath Lucielle wrinkled her nose as the polluted city air entered her nostrils. "Gross. How can a city in the human realm smell worse than a prison in Hell?" Covering her nose with her free hand Lucielle swiftly applied a new sigil to her nose that filtered the smell as it entered her nostrils.
Taking a deep breath through her nose once again, Lucielle smiled as a pleasant floral scent drifted through her nostrils. "Much much better." Lucielle was about to exit through the front gate when a lightning bolt flashed through her mind. 'Wait a minute. Where the heck am I supposed to go now? I was just plopped down into this world without any warning. Do I have a home to return to or am I a homeless bum? Do I have a family to stay with or am I completely on my own?' Pulling out her cellphone from her bag Lucielle quickly brought up her contacts only to find nothing. Slumping in defeat Lucielle shook her head. "Dammit Clotho. You just had to dump me in the human world with nothing to my name."
Stepping through the school gates Lucielle quickly made her way from the school. 'Okay so I gotta figure out a way to earn some money and find a place to call home. Legal or illegal? Power or no power? How should I go about resolving this issue?' She was so absorbed in her own thoughts that she didn't seem to notice the group of young men following her through the winding streets of the city. Her delicate fingers flicked across her phone at high speeds as she looked through various hotels, air bnbs, and rooms for rent. After finding a hotel that wasn't too outside of her price range Lucielle then began to scour for means to earn a sustainable income.
'Plasma donations would be quite easy except for the fact that I'm not human. Shame I still haven't managed to master body reformation, then I could easily earn money. Guess I'll be going down a mix of legal and illegal means to afford my place in this city." Putting her phone away and glancing over her shoulder Lucielle narrowed her eyes as she spotted Connor and his flunkies walking towards her. 'Not this asshole again. I don't feel like dealing with him anymore today but it seems like I must.' Turning down a side alley Lucielle waited down the halfway point for Connor and his buddies to arrive.
