Hello everybody! So, since we had someone curious, here’s a little extra thing to clarify how the gods are organized on Estus, the setting for “The Demon Lord’s Lover”. We have a somewhat more in-depth thing going on with an earlier extra (“The Deities of Estus”), so this is more an organizational thingamabob to make it clear how the deities are organized, plus a few little extra details.
First things first, it does need to be emphasized, there is not one, singular pantheon in DLL; there’s three of them. Three entirely separate factions of gods, each with their own general traits and ways of doing things. There’s no specific “good” or “evil” factions, but there are those that are more inherently destructive towards mortal life than others.
Also, all the first generation gods are Elder Gods. The Ouzan and Lautic Elder Gods are known as Ancients and Primordials purely to differentiate them, because gods can be extremely petty and want to make it clear that they’re not the same type of deities, thank you very much.
So here they are, organized by generation per pantheon. Again, further details are available in the earlier extra, this is mostly to clarify where everybody goes and who’s related to who. Also, you can meet all the gods that are active in the Light Lands (except for one of them) back in “Interlude 3 - Divine”, if you want a refresher. Otherwise, hope this is handy!

Trivia
* Now for those that may have noticed, yes there is indeed an extra god that wasn't mentioned in the other extra chapter. We may or may not have created him while writing this. So hey, thanks to Telp for giving us the impetus to make this extra, and by extension add in an entire new deity.
* Since he is new and didn't get something in the previous extra, we will mention here that Ligami is essentially a party god who doesn't know when to stop. If you’re curious for more info, just look up the definition of “Profligacy”. It’s a fun word to add to your vocabulary. Now for actual, in-setting trivia!
* As they were previously mortals, Tisserand and The Rose Saint aren't as self important as the other gods; in fact, rumors say Tisserand chose a champion on a whim.
* Gods can’t actually make mortals immortal, at least not directly, though some mortals can make themselves pretty close to immortal. Adding god-power to a mortal winds up making the mortal pop, so it’s simpler to just reincarnate their soul as an angel or demon. This means that no, the gods cannot erase death from the world. That would not work.
* Gods don’t like each other. They really do not. Some are plenty friendly with those that are a part of their own faction, and they may even form close relationships, but immortal beings have plenty of time to form grudges and they’re plenty prone to prejudice, so any large scale collaboration where they all “band together in harmony” is just not going to happen.
* Most of the Elder Gods are female. This should be pretty obvious by now. Further, gods can have kids with each other regardless of gender, so if two or three goddesses got super drunk and wound up boning, it has an equal chance of creating children as a male and female god going at it.
* Gods, in a sense, can reproduce asexually, but they won’t create a god from the process. Instead, beings such as angels, demons, and eldrits originate from gods creating beings with their own power alone; for a new god to be born, at least one other god needs to be involved in the process. If they use a mortal instead, they create a demigod. The Ouzan gods are also known to take demonic lovers at times, and any offspring that result from such unions are also, technically, demigods.
* While it is not entirely sure what would happen if people were to stop believing in them, it is theoretically possible for Tisserand and The Rose Saint to simply stop existing if they were to have no followers, as they became deified from faith following their deaths. This is a hypothetical though.
* “Natural” gods, however, are known to exist regardless of worshippers, though they prefer to have mortal worshippers so they may have influence on the world of Estus.
* Gods aren’t allowed on the mortal plane because of numerous stupid decisions, feuds, and spiteful actions they undertook when they actually could. After one particularly violent war, the Elders all signed an Accord that would keep them from directly entering the Mortal Plane of Estus, though the Ouzan Elders all eventually broke this law in one way or another. Regardless, the law stays in place, because the last time they let things get so out of control, Estus gained its Moon. Which in and of itself isn't bad, but it did make a number of mortals believe the apocalypse was upon them. Which it sort of was? In the “great upheaval where tons of people die” sense.
