"So... You're human."
"Of course I am." I scoffed. "What else would I be?"
The old lady leaned close and sniffed. "Hmm.." She leaned back and looked me in the eyes.
"Did y... Did you just smell me?" This is getting weird.
She stared some more, and looked me up and down. "You don't smell human. And I can't read you. That's never happened before." She took two steps behind with her eyes never leaving mine. "I think you're hiding something. And that I've seen you before."
I looked at my watch. I'm almost late for the next schedule. "Imo, I'm sorry but I'm running late. I assure you I'm human." I sighed. "Now, please tell me if you're hurt anywhere so I can take you to the nearest hospital."
He was driving down a steep slope when the old woman came out of the surrounding forest and right in front of his car. He was able to step on the brakes on time despite the sudden scare, but he still heard a light bump. He didn't see his car hitting the imo but how could he when he had his eyes shut tight as he prayed to avoid an accident.
"Imo? Hmm... So you see an old woman and not my real self huh." The old woman smirked. It was a little creepy.
If I wasn't a good Catholic man, I would've drived away and left this crazy woman the moment she started asking me what I was. What was this woman doing alone in the woods anyway? And why was she running?
I was about to ask her what she was running from when her body started to glow and shimmer in silvery light. POOF! "Wha-"
A beautiful white-haired lady now stood in front of me, where the wrinkly old woman was moments ago.
Is this... I started looking around. "Am I being pranked right now?" This must be some kind of a joke. My manager must have decided to prank me to teach me a lesson not to take roadtrips without him.
The lady laughed and gave me a light tap on the arm. "You're cute."

"What is happening here?" I gave the lady a furtive glance and started walking here and there to check the surrounding trees. "Is Johnny hyung hiding somewhere? Did he pay you to prank me?"
The smile from her lips slowly faded. "You're serious, aren't you?"
"Serious about what? What happened with the old lady I was just talking to earlier?" I demanded. "I don't know why you guys thought it's funny to prank someone by making him almost plow into an old woman at a very steep slope, in a place where hospitals are non-existent!" This is getting ridiculous it's not even funny.
"Johnny hyung you can come out now." I shouted at the nearby trees. "I've learned my lesson, okay? I'm never going on a roadtrip ever again without you."
"Ssh ssh!" The lady came running after me and grabbed my arm to make me face her. "Stop yelling right now!" She whisper-yelled, her face tilted a bit to the right and her eyes a little unfocused. "You're gonna get me in trouble."
"I don't know what you're talking about..." I murmured. "Why don't you answer my questions? Where's hyung?"
"Don't know." She then gave me a side-eye. "Looks like you weren't lying. You truly are human. But a very special one."
I turned away and started walking back to the car. "Look, lady. I'm sorry you got roped into this by my manager. I'm sure you were paid though, like the old woman who was here a moment ago." I only looked back at her after I opened the car door. She just stood there where I left her with a weird smile on her face. Looks a bit like she's mocking me. "If I don't go now, I'm surely going to be late. I hope you don't mind, but this schedule is important."
"That old lady was me, stupid."
"What?" I heard her but that was the only response I could think of because my mind was suddenly busy replaying what happened a few minutes ago. "No. That's not true." I shook my head. She didn't glow or... or transform. Whatever. That didn't happen. Just my imagination. "I was talking to this old woman and..." My saliva dried up. "No, that was..."
"That was me transforming to my true identity." She started walking towards me with purpose. I tried to climb into my car but I suddenly couldn't move. The hairs on the back of my neck prickled. "But don't you worry about it, dear human." She now stood in front of me with only the car door between us.
"Look at me." Her voice sounded weird and it felt as if she's whispering in my ears. "Focus on my eyes." And I did. She has beautiful eyes. Its color like the sky on a clear and bright day. So blue... "Yes foolish human. My eyes are pretty, aren't they?"
"They're pretty, yes." I couldn't look away.
"Now..." She took my face in her hands. "You're going to forget the last 15 minutes."
My mind started to race and my heart skipped a beat. What is this?!
"And tell whoever needs to be told that you're late because you ran over a dog. And decided to bury it. Got it?"
