Inside a luxurious private room in Cloud Realm, the dim yellow lights felt strangely frightening.

After being pushed inside, Samantha saw the intimidating Jasper leisurely sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed. His icy aura was just as cold as his expression. He held a cigarette between his fingers and the orange light burning at the tip seemed to be burning her heart. The atmosphere in the room was so frightening that Samantha felt her chest heat up even before she went over.

That was because Jasper had a woman kneeling at his feet. The woman was dressed smartly, but her hair was disheveled and she looked nervous and battered.

Samantha immediately recognized her to be Edith Price!

Samantha's knees weakened upon seeing the state Edith was in. With a thud, she fell on her knees next to Edith to kneel before Jasper.

Jasper had yet to speak, but Samantha was already shuddering in fear.

Edith's teary eyes glanced at Samantha. The latter looked like a toad with her cheeks and eyes swollen. At first, Edith didn't recognize her. She only recognized Samantha after looking at her outfit and style. Assuming that Jasper had ordered Samantha to be beaten up, Edith's heart trembled in fear, and then hung her head.

"You're not worthy of kneeling before someone as noble as Mr. Hughes," Tyson said after understanding Jasper's hint. He came forward to kick Samantha on her shoulder, sending her flying back until she hit the wall and fell.

Samantha coughed out a mouthful of blood as she lay on the ground. She begged, "Have mercy, Mr. Hughes. Please spare me for the fact that I'm Willow's cousin."

Her voice was trembling but she dared not cry.

Based on what Willow told her just now, she could guess that Jasper had summoned her here to punish her for that incident.

The man might just kill her if she kept staying silent.

She was terrified.

Edith looked sternly at Samantha after the latter had spoken.

She wanted to stop Samantha, but it was too late.

Tyson went over to Samantha and pulled her up by her collar. "Willow is just a janitor at Hughes Corporation. Why should we, for her sake?"

The murderous intent on Tyson's expression made it clear that he was moving under Jasper's orders. Hence, killing her would be Jasper's intent.

Jasper had absolute authority around here. He could easily kill her as if he was crushing a mere ant.
