Narrator: "Have you ever dreamt of power, to be a hero looked at by all, a symbol of justice and admiration, what if told you that following justice led you down a much....darker path, what if i told you that all the light you saw in the world was just evil hiding itself as good"

(brief flashes appear of a blurry injured man with a sword, standing in front of countless monsters, as he screams and charges in the flashes fade away.)

The scene shifts to a view of people cheering everywhere as a group of 4 warriors is passing in through the center, guards hold back a line the people cant cross as the heroes pass through, behind them in a futuristic carriage, the carcass of a giant red dragon is kept, following behind them slowly, presumably their latest achievement.

The 4 warriors consisted, of a woman with red hair shrouded by a black cowl covered in a golden web-like design, wielding a golden staff with a red crystal embedded at its top, A large bald man of dark skin, with a massive body covered in scars, wearing only armored pants and 2 gauntlets, A bearded man with blue hair, wearing a blindfold and two daggers to his sides, wearing white garments, fashioned like those of an assassin with little to no armor.

Lastly in the front as their leader was a boy in his late teens, with golden hair, a tall athletic frame, wearing a light golden armor, carrying a golden spear with green gems imbedded in its blade at his side, but his most notable feature would be his Golden eyes with his pupils being a symbol of infinity. 

The guards yell: "Please make way for the Claris Guild!!!"

(the people keep cheering on, in awe of the adventurers achievements)

...the scene slowly zooms out towards a child watching this from his class window a few block away with his eyes full of desire to be an adventurer. (The child is short(5 ft 1) ,with a scrawny build, black hair, blue eyes, light peach colored skin, wearing a white school uniform with black pants.)

Seeing this another child in the back yells at him.

Aaron: "Hey Defect, quit looking at those heroes, you'll make them defective too!!!"

(he laughs along with his friends for a while before a young girl named Lucy comes in to scold him, Lucy is from a prestigious family of heroes possessing the power to control fire, she has also been friends with kai for a long time.)

Lucy: "Aaron don't call Kai defective, just because he didn't manifest a innate ability doesn't mean he cant be a hero"

Aaron: "What's he gonna do, cry at a villain or monster till it stops attacking him..(he laughs a little before continuing), I just want Kai to not get hurt and leave the hero stuffs to the ones with actual talent(he cracks his knuckles as electricity starts crackling from them)"

Lucy: "Well then you wouldn't mind if I show you my talent....if you don't say sorry to Kai(she manifests flames from her hand)"

Aaron: "(reluctantly)...Sssorrry....(he then rushes back to his friends talking about the awakening ritual that will happen today)"

Kai: "You didn't have to do that Lucy...(he sighs a little, upset at his lack of an innate ability to even defend himself)"

(suddenly a intercom plays throughout the school)

Lucy: "Don't worry about it Kai, its a heroes job to stand up to bullies, plus i think you will awaken your innate ability soon, even my sister got her ability late and she is an S rank now maybe its just super strong so its taking time(her words encourage Kai to smile again)"

Intercom: "All students gather to the auditorium for the awakening ritual"

(all the students rise and rush towards the auditorium)

Narrator: "The awakening ritual, a ritual cast to bring out the Gaia system in people, a blessing granted to humans by the deity Gaia, it allows humans to grow unnaturally from their contributions and surpass human limits while also gaining other boons besides innate abilities which naturally manifest in people at young ages, in other words, without it heroes would be unable to exist as they do now."

As all the students stood in line in the auditorium a man in priest robes, with golden tattoos all over his body began to cast a golden energy from his hands, as a massive golden magic circle began forming atop the students, Kai looked up starstruck praying to be blessed with a system and to become a great hero.

The magic circle then burst out a massive glow before disappearing, The man then told everyone.

Unknown priest: "Now everyone, please think of opening your system window, this will open the window for you to see"

(As everyone did so, panels began appearing before everyone, they could see their stats on it, strength, speed, durability, stamina and mana. However one child yelled out;)

Kai: "I cant see my system...."

the entire auditorium fell silent, as Kai got up saying he couldn't see his system, the man went close to him, his eyes began glowing a pale blue for a moment before ceasing and he said.

Unknown priest: "This is......odd to say the least, the system....it rejected your soul(Kai's face begins to fall into tension and worry), this shouldn't be possible, I don't know what to say young one, it seems Gaia has rejected you" 

Kai's face falls to disbelief before despair sets in, Lucy is looking in from the back, worried about Kai as she tries to get closer, the principal announces that classes are dismissed and everyone can head home early today due to the ceremony being over, Kai runs away with tears before Lucy could reach him. she keeps looking on at him as he disappears with sadness little does she know that this was the last she would see off him for a long time.

(in the distance the unknown priest stares at Kai in bewilderment as he runs off).
