Ch2. It looks like I transmigrated into another world

Ch2. It looks like I transmigrated into another world

I had a realization during my final breaths that I had witnessed a sight that ordinarily wouldn't occur, even if one were in their last moments, as the environment around me grew hazy and I gradually lost my senses.

The land was emerging from the ocean.

a ruined, decaying world devoid of any life.

A gigantic humanoid shape that completely obscured the sky.

My consciousness was absorbed by the blackness itself as I reached out to the sun in the pitch-black sky and the drab clouds.

When I awoke, I was on a sloped bank covered in thick grass.

There was the smell of the plantation and the sound of grass rubbing against the grass.

When I was lying down with my hand outstretched toward the sun, I, "Dustin," was suddenly attacked by a sharp throbbing.

The sun wasn't making me sweat; instead, it was a cold sweat that wouldn't go away.

My chest hurt and I was perspiring while experiencing an unpleasant sensation.

"W, what was that just now?"

Since I sat up in a panic, some of the grass that got caught on my clothes fell onto the ground. As the wind blew, the blades of grass drifted away.

There were 2 big red suns in front of me, yeah you got it right 2 fucking suns.

I usually like to look at the world nonchalantly, showing just how mature I am but today, I couldn't hide my eyes wide open in astonishment.

It feels as if I'm seeing this for the first time.

Clutching my chest, my heart was still pounding fiercely. My breathing wouldn't calm down either.

As I stood up, I looked in the direction the 2 suns were setting off.

I feel a sense of something out of place, I mean I am middle of nowhere.

I mean at least for all the years I have lived I have never heard of a place on earth where you could see 2 suns and if there is still a place on earth where you could see 2 suns then I don't know whether what we are learning in school is actually reliable.

so after many careful thoughts, the conclusion reached by the ordinary me is that I am not on earth.

"What is this? Why does──"

I slowly walked forward, and then fell over.

Looking at my body, my hands and feet were strangely small.

I'm sure that this is my own body, and yet I strangely feel like I'm small.

Rather than worrying about this, I need to check the situation first.

I got up and walked, then gradually shifted into a dash towards anywhere, I needed to see any signs of civilization.

I have this uneasy premonition.

I feel like it took quite a bit of time with these child-like legs, but I got to my destination.

The location, which had a fence to prevent people from falling down, looked like the usual scenery.

"Right. It's just like usual──a creepy forest."

This was a forest covered with a fence, the fence had strange markings on it which I could totally not understand.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

The forest gives a gloomy feeling, it makes you feel like there is something there that is looking at you, and honestly, I really don't want to go there.

Though I shouldn't have needed to, I wanted to confirm it anyways.

Something's been strange for a while now.

When I reached my hand out towards the sun, an image popped up inside my head that seemed like someone else's life. It was the entire life of a man that wasn't me.

A life that is completely different from mine.

There was nothing prominent about it, but it still seemed enjoyable as there were no considerable tragic moments I could see.

Oh no did I just jinx myself?

It could be written off as a dream or illusion, but it felt vivid and strangely real.

Though I saw into that man's entire life, I don't remember his name.

I held my head against both of my hands as my head started to hurt really bad.

It was such a vivid memory I saw and yet, why can't I recall his name?

I tried to push the headache away and focus on the memories.

It hurts, it hurts but I have to remember the name.

I sat down, unable to understand what was going on. I feel like my current memories and those memories I got are blending together into a mix throwing me off the loop.

I looked up at the sky behind the fence.

"…What…what happened to me?"

Even I don't know who that question was directed towards.

The sun was starting to set off after about 2 hours I had arrived here in this strange land, I let out a sigh and broke away from my contemplations of life. There is no use in thinking about what's happening or whether I am real or is it a dream, questions like these will only fry my brain of average IQ.

I stood up and started to walk away to the place I lived according to the memory I received, I was walking alongside the gloomy forest and sometimes I heard the sound of animals howling. Great now I have to be careful of wild animals ripping me apart in my sleep.

I started to pick off my speed as it would be dangerous to walk in a place like this at night, well I might be wrong but don't all the survival shows state that it's dangerous to walk in the forest at night? It might be true that I am not actually walking inside the forest as I don't have the guts to do something like that after I heard those animals' screams or cheers or whatever they were but I still think it might still be true in my situation as I am near a dangerous forest that gives you a feeling that it might just suck you if you make even a single mistake.

the sun was beginning to set and I was glad I had reached the place, it was a small wooden house that looked like it might just break away making me more worried about my life. I rather disliked this place that's why I had run off to the place I found myself when I woke up which was really close to the forest.

I looked at the entrance and steeled myself to walk and started walking into the wooden house. An old man was waiting inside with a frown on his face sitting on a chair and looking at the ground, he probably sensed my presence like a martial arts expert or it might be probably I made a lot of noise while entering the house.

He moved his gaze from the ground to me, and he soon started to glare at me with all his strength, I carefully looked at the old man as he was still glaring at me, He looked about in his 40s and didn't give off a strong feeling even though he was trying to come off as intimidating to me, He had a sickly complex and a thin frame and came off as a man one foot to the grave but don't be deceived by his appearance this man has never ever got sick and not to mention he had just hunted a wild animal last month at his age.

If I had to mention one noticeable feature of his other than his deceiving sick looks was his head. he didn't have any vibrant color like blue, yellow, or any other color you would expect a person to have if you got transmigrated to another world, I mean isn't it the law of the universe to have the first person you meet to meet have hair color that is impossible to be present on earth well I might just be biased in my views but anyway moving on.

I really would like to describe his hair color but sorry that's impossible even for me, it looks like there are things a man can't do no matter how much he tries. The reason I am calling it an impossible task is because he didn't have hairs at all.

He was completely and utterly bald.

He might have had enough of my internal musing and probably my poker face irritated him or he could have even sensed me making fun of his head but what could I do it was funny. He slowly stood up and walked in front of me. He stood in front of me and glared at me with all of his strength with his immense figure well it's not actually immense but it might come off to me like that because of my 5-year-old body.

And his glare got even more intensified and with his glare I shifted my eyesight and turned my head to another side to show that I admit defeat but my meaning might have not gone to him or he might have ignored it.

"You idiot"

He smacked me over my head with his enormous fist.

Tears quickly came over to my eyes as I grabbed my head with both my hand while I sat down on the ground. It did hurt quite a bit but I was surprised that I actually cried, It looks that being in a kid's body has affected me more than physically as there is no way I would actually ever cry because of pain.

I am a person who has actually never ever cried in his entire life so the experience of crying was not only new to me but also quite embarrassing.

the old man sighed and rubbed my head and started to check my entire body for any injury, luckily for me I was not injured anywhere.

well, it's better to not count the head injury he just gave me.

"brat I have told you so many times to not go near the forest so many time but you just continue to defy me at every chance you get"

He spoke to me in a tired voice but I am not an idiot as there is no way that he would actually know that I was playing near the village, This is just a common trick parents use to get the truth out of their children while I might not be his son but the treatment he gave me is no different from how a parent would treat their children.

I took a deep breath and prepared to give him my master performance.

"I swear to god I didn't go there, I mean I understand there is danger there so why would I go when you have reminded me countless times"

I spoke these words filled with emotions in it and changed my expressions to look like a pitiful abandoned child, well it is not a lie as I am actually abandoned.

"the other kids told me they saw you going there so don't even think of talking anymore nonsense and don't think you can fool me with those eyes of yours"

Oh busted.

"Sorry"

I hung my head down looking like a boy who has admitted mistakes in front of their parents and was waiting for their punishment.

He looked at me and reached for my head and I flinched and prepared myself to be hit the second time but he just put his hand on my head and started to play with my hair.

"Go to your room and eat your food as I have put it there and afterward without any nonsense just simply sleep"

He gave me an ultimatum so I quickly got into my room which wasn't hard to find as there were only 2 rooms in this entire house.

I looked at my room and noticed there was a bed and desk table probably he made it for me to study, there was also a bucket of water in the corner of the room.

I started devouring the food like a hymen, I mean I am a growing child. I quickly finished my food and drank water and lay down on the bed which wasn't comfortable as there was no pillow.

Beggars can't be choosers, I guess.

I quickly got up from my bed and reached the bucked near the corner of my room. I observed my face for a moment and I got a quick realization of something.

If I had to describe my face in one sentence - it would be the epitome of averageness.

Black eyes with short black hair, a face that can be compared to a mob character that is not remembered but can be found in every anime.
