Prologue: A World Champion's End
Mischevious flames licked the tips of my shattered armor as I laid dead and defeated in a lost world. As the fact struck deep into my psyche, my eyes grew heavy and heart sunk into the lowest levels of hell.
I was this world's champion, the grand magus of Earth, and a proud human ascendant. I was supposed to protect this beloved world to my last breath. The hopes of humanity, and it's brethrens had laid within me.
Yet, I had failed and with my failure spelt the doom for the race of humanity. Even me, with all my power and glory could barely kill the Gods and devils that had descended into our world.
Regret.
Guilt.
Anger.
Fury.
Despite the whine and creaks of my bones, I let out my last breath towards this world and called upon Gaia's grace. As soon as the mother blue mana enveloped me, I felt a number of godly energy signatures locking onto me.
It seems the gods had noticed what I was about to do.
Yet, I didn't care.
For the first time since my birth, a devious laugh burst out of me. What followed after was a roar. No, a declaration to the mythological world that played with humanity like broken toys.
" Remember this, mythos! I will come back one day and annihilate every last one of you! This is my oath as the Child Of Man, Adam Crownswell! [Samsara Rebirth]! " The moment I casted my spell, my body was instantly destroyed by the barrages of God Class spells but it was fine. It would have been destroyed by the price of my spell anyway.

After the ashes of my body disappeared, the echoes of my oath rang around the hollow, desolate morgue of the foolish race of humanity.
Only the mythological races stood above such an ugly world, curious over the rat's final squeak. No matter. They had completed their objective and it was time to return to their respective realms and rest. Space and reality bended as titanic portals opened all around the lost world as the destroyers of humanity returned to their realm.
Shortly after the last portal closed, the world fell into a deep slumber.

Tokyo, Japan
Inside a mediocre house, the Patriach of the BrightBurn family paced around the room anxiously like a kid waiting for his test results. He was standing outside the room, clasping his hands and praying to the many gods out there for his child to be delivered safely.
Almost as soon as he finished his prayer, he heard a cry from inside his room and what followed after was a tired, age-stricken maid. Their eyes locked, the anxiety of the father was well understood by the maid. A fatigued but happy smile was presented by the maid, destroying any doubts that the father had.
He rushed into the room with a smile that could swallow the sun and arms that stretched on for miles. He was about to scream in excitement before he saw the stern glare his wife had given him. Their eyes met in a long, loving gaze but their infatuation was disturbed by a burp from the bundle of joy laying beside the wife's head.
Instantly, the father's legs felt like jelly as they carried him to his own child. His arms moved with serenity as they carried and held the silent newborn. The previous silent newborn almost instantly seemed to come to life as it flailed it's tiny hands around, eager to hit the father.
A chuckle escaped the father's mouth as he said, "Your name will be Aurora. Aurora Brightburn. Fierce like the gales and strong like a lion. Be brave, my daughter. ", at his words the baby went silent for a few seconds before she started to wail and became more active, waving her arms around as if trying to touch her hair, yet failing to do so. The parents just stood still, amused at their fierce little daughter but also felt one thing. It was almost instinctual.
They knew that their daughter, Aurora Brightburn would be someone great one day.
