As Mary Walked towered her small room she let out a sigh. She Had become a nun when she was only 5 years old in order to get of the streets. At first she had hated being nun but over time she came to rather like it. After all as a member of the church she got what felt like free food and housing even if that housing what not the best it.
But the past few mouths had been some of the worst she had ever had. It started with her being moved to a new small temple that had just been finished. The temple was only a little ways from the capital in one of the small towns that were just outside of the cites walls. At first she loved it after all she was getting a promotion she would be the head nun of her own temple just the thought made her jump for joy.
Only once she had gotten to the temple did she understand way no one else wanted the job. She would be the only person that worked at the small temple. By the time she found this out there was no way to back out.
So she spent the next few mouths cleaning the temple, healing the towns folk and holding the weekly sermons all on her own. She never had a day to rest it was from one thing to the next.
At lest to days over and I can- her thoughts are interrupted by someone yelling and banging on the temple doors.
“Open up we need a healer!”
Mary was use to this the towns folk had been taking advantage of her for mouths asking for healing for the smallest wound, but she could not ignore it.
“Dammit!” Mary said as she turned a walked to the door.
As Mary opened the door she said “What is it this time a small cu-”
Marys eyes went wide in panic as she saw the woman that looked to be a hair from death blood was all over her side. Not even looking at the man that the woman was leaning on. Mary scoped the woman up. She quickly set the woman that seemed to have passed out from blood loss on the near by bench.
Mary removed what seemed to be a makeshift bandage. Before starting the incantation for simple healing magic. After which the wound glowed a bit healing a small amount. Mary used the spell so many time she lost count by the end she was painting after what felt like hours Mary had manged to close the wound.
“When will she wake up?” The male voice said.
“she should wake up once she has recovered her lost blood so with in a few days.” Mary said putting on a fake smile.
“Too slow heal her blood too” the Man said.
Mary was about to pop a blood vessel. Regenerating lost blood was well above her level the only once that could do that were the high priest and sant the fact that she even manged to close the wound was miracle. She turned he head facing the man doing her best to hold back on yelling at him.
As she turned and looked at the man her face went white a ghost. Purple eyes? She thought there was only one family in the world that had purple eyes. The man had Purple eyes and black hair that could only be..
“I’m sorry prince but I can’t regenerate lost blood.” Mary said bowing her head her eyes wide with a different kind of panic. I hope I was not rude what if I was oh god he may have my head removed! She thought.
“Fine is there I bed I can sleep in it has been a long night.” The prince said.
“S-straight that way. I would guide you but I can’t stand yet.” Mary said pointing towered the back rooms of the temple. Leo turned and walked away leaving Mary on the ground.
Once the prince had left in to the back rooms Marry let out a sigh and leaned back on the bench. I lived! She thought.

Leo sat on the bed his mind was racing he had was trying as hard as he could to keep up airs in front of everyone. But he was on the brink of a mental breakdown after everything that had happened to night.
It was just supposed to be a simple party to blow off stem for the nobles and recruit some useful people to there side, how had it gone so wrong? Leo thought
Leo placed his hands on his face. Had father survived? He must have theirs no way he could have dead to normal knights.. But if that one was there then…
No! You can’t think about that now remember what father taught me. I have to look to the future!
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
First I need to get somewhere safe. Leo thought about were that would be for some time. If only I new how big this rebellion was then I would know who I can trust. For now the only one I can place any trust in is that mercenary.
Leo thought back to the party when his father told him that he should take at lest one of the new talents to his side.
“But which one? You know I have never been the best at picking out talent like you father.” Leo said.
Leo’s father looked over the group of new honorary knights after a moment he says
“The two with the most potential in my mind are the plan looking one I think his name is Jack Hill he is the plane looking one. He is a great soldier there fallows orders to the letter-” Amos stopped speaking for a moment lost in thought “- On the other hand The red haired woman is the strongest but a bit uncontrollable but with the right leash she would be the best weapon you could have.”
Leo has always hated the way his father talked about people seeing ever one of them as tools for his goal. It was too the point that Leo thought that his father saw him the same way. After all that is how he saw his mother.
Leo know that if his father wanted him to take pick some one then he had better do it.
”The strongest of the group she will do..” Leo says.
“I’m glad you made a good pick now I have a magic contract ready get her to sign it no matter the -”
Leo snaps back to reality as he began to fall towered the floor. He had to use all the strength left in his body to stop him self from falling.
“Shit I need sleep..” Leo said rubbing his eyes. Leo could feel how heavy his body was all of the fatigue that had built up was hitting him at once. He removed his shoes and laid back on the bed passing out before he could even get one more thought in.
His dreams drifted back to an old memory.
A woman's voice called out “Leo! Be careful you could fall!” Leo felt someone grab the back of his coat just as he was about to fall of the pristine stone bridge.
“Sorry mother I will be more careful!” Leo said as his mother let go of him.
“What am I going to do with you?” she said placing her hand on her face.

Rose had had this dream many times before but it never got better.
She stands before a village smoldering. Black smoke rising from the flickers of flames left. With each step she sees the bodes of the dead towns folk at one time she could remember the names of every one of them. But now?
As she neared the village center she saw a young girl that was only 10 years old. She was standing in the rain crying yet she did not make any sound at all. As the tears streamed down the girl face Rose wondered how long had it taken her to get use to this dream?
“Why why why do you keep fighting!” the Girl screamed at Rose. This was a part of the dream that had only started happening in the past few years.
“To live” Rose said.
“Lier!” The girl said as she fell to the ground.
“Just wait soon some one will come for you.” Rose said knowing well that it was true.
Rose began walking foreword leaving the girl-No her self to cry in that old memory. I wish I could do anything but I can’t change the past. Rose thought as she walked forward.
As the dream faded out.
Rose felt pain a deep pain on her side. As he eyes slowly opened letting in the worm light of the church. As she sat up she garbed her side in pain.
“Were am I?” she said as her eyes looked around the room settling on a woman sleeping her head on the bench.
“I’m still alive?” Rose said in shock she really did not think she could make it out of that mess. Rose went to stand up in spite of the pain but as she moved she accidentally bumped her leg in to the woman.
The woman shoot up “Sister I’m up!” she said her eyes were in a panic. A moment latter she let out a soft “Oh” and a bit more that Rose could not hear. Then the woman turned to Rose.
“Why are you trying to stand up?” she asked.
“I was hungry…” Rose said shifting her eyes away from the woman.
“Better question… how are you even moving!?” the woman said staring Rose down.
“Thanks to your grate healing..” Rose said assuming this woman must have been the one that healed her.
“…. Never mind stay here I will be right back with some food,” The woman let out a sigh as she Walked towered the back of the church.
Once the woman was gone Rose tried to stand up despite the woman telling her not to. She regretted this vary quickly as she felt vary light headed and dizzy. She quickly sat back down.
“Shit how much blood did I loose?” Rose said thinking out loud. “What were is the prince??” was her next thought. But there was not much she could do in till the woman returned.
About 20 minuets latter if Rose had to say the woman returned just behind her Was the prince. She was holding a plate with some bread with a bit of cheese on the it.
“Here.” The woman said as she handed the plate to Rose.
“You said it would take at lest a few days for her to walk up.” Leo said looking at the woman.
“Yes and it should have taken at lest that long.” The woman shook her head.
“Do you at lest know why she was able to heal so fast.” Leo asked.
“No” the woman said her arms raised.
At the same time Rose was scarfing down the bread and cheese snack it had been a long time since she was this hungry. She Know that Healing magic takes a loot out of a person but her wound must have been even worse then she thought it was.
After Rose was done with the bit of food she had gotten from the woman she says “Prince calm down I’m fine now so get ready we need it leave,” She turns to the woman “And whats your name.”
“I don’t see how that relevant but it’s marry should you be so kind as to tell me why the prince has come to this small temple with a near dead woman. He has not be forthcoming” Marry said.
“Well Marry I would recommend you get ready to leave. So see there has been a attack on the palace.” Rose says.
“She a nobody Why did you tell her!?” Leo said as Marry’s face contorts in panic.
“They will probably figure that we went this way and knowing that I was wounded that will bet that we went to the church so she would be in danger.” Rose said. At the same time Marry is panicking.
“All the work I put in is going down the drain.” Marry said her hands on her ears.
“OK it might not have been my best move” Rose says upon seeing how marry is acting.
Just then there a knock on the door to the building.
