Chapter 1 - The World Ends - The Scorching Scarlet Night

Part 1
Japan in year 2000 had discovered an unknown power within the bodies of human that can enhance the physical body to a frightening level to be able to withstand any attacks from guns to missiles, capable of suppressing even nuclear weapons. This gave room to thousands of possibilities in the development of mankind, thus the power was named as 《Elstein 》 and with this power that mainly required swords as a catalyst to invoke, gave birth to the era of 《Elstein Swordsman》.
With the Power 0f 《Elstein 》, people could manifest superhuman strength and invoke 1 of the 7 elements of fire, lightning, water, ice, darkness, wind, light on their swords and release an magic-like attack.
However this unusual ability was only present in a person as a result of a purely inherent or sudden mutation, thus mass producing was an impossible thing. Thus only a low number of people obtained this power and was required to mature their talent, This required the help of the 《Kusanagi Elstein》 family that for many generation handle unique powers in the darkness of society, to help teach and manage these unusual and rare children, thus the 《Royal Elstein Swordsman Academy》 was developed throughout Japan to teach them how to handle their power. However, only those who are blessed with a high aptitude to 《Elstein Hope》 can attain a mastery of it , which can put them at a professional level.
And in the Year 2021 Japan had become a great and powerful nation with the help of 《Kusanagi Elstein》 towards the development of 《Elstein Swordsman》 and significances towards technology advancements in the recent few years.
It came down to the point where the Japans management was no longer done by the government; instead it was done by 《Kusanagi Elstein》 now which resulted in the Japan benefiting greatly.
From establishing new schools, the most advanced technology, terminals, buildings, weaponry, everything in the world were all controlled by《Kusanagi Elstein》 in the shadow of society.
Part 2
And now in one of the glamorous 《Elstein Swordsman》city called: 《Elstein Hope City》
A youth was walking along the cold stone path while grumbling to himself.
“Ah school so annoying, why the hell do we always have to get up so early in the morning after, our weekend, darn I just can’t be bothered”
He was a 1.75 metre tall youth with broad shoulders, somewhat features average and somewhat resolute, a head of spiky silver hair unrolling down nearly to his shoulder and a deep sky-blue eyes reflected light like a lapis lazuli stone.
However though his looks were great but he lacked the aura and attitude that suited his looks where within the silver haired boys sapphire eyes contained a mean and a very cold gaze, a kind of icy cold glare that could pierce into the depths of one’s heart, an evil light glimmering between his half open eyelids full of tiredness, under his gaze, the whole body felt like cut by a sharp sword.
The youths name was Kusanagi Elstein Lucifer an average Japanese boy walking to school,
Although he looked average his was the second son of the 《Kusanagi Elstein》 family that inherited the traditional Scarlet true- light dojo.
Lucifer himself is a master and direct heir of his family’s Scarlet true-light style. Ever since he was a child he was indoctrinated with the basic and secrets of true light style swordsmanship physically and mentally by his father on a daily basis, facing many life-threatening experiences, developing his swordsmanship that was only passed to the men of 《Kusanagi Elstein》 house from generation to a generation.
This signified that the family had great expectation of him. Where he did not let them down and at the age of 10 he was already a famous swordsman that has never lost even till now, but with his strength now there was no opponents that could face him and he soon grew bored and distant to his surroundings giving a cold and unapproachable feeling.
Today was a summers Monday, the most melancholy of all the days has just started and for Lucifer it was the most annoying day.
A simple annoyance to Lucifer who thought school was absolutely boring and unproductive to him where he would just laze about and sleep for most of the time.
Walking into the school and into the main- building, he headed to his classroom of the top floor.
Opened the door to the classroom with his tired body and walked to his desk at the back of the room.
he received hated he glares from the majority of class.
Lucifer ignored them as they were nothing to him and headed to his seat.
There was always this type of person that saw him as a hindrance as he barely played attention in class but always got full marks in all the test and with his standard in life a a top swordsman, leading to the majority to be jealous of him, causing many to be depressed at how unfair life was.
But reality Lucifer had put a lot of effort in his studies in his free time due to lack of opponents in the dojo, but no one can truly understand him in this world so he had given up of those around him and could not be bothered to interact with these selfish and stupid people.
As the teacher entered the classroom he was already quietly sleep on his desk.

After waking up it was already lunch.
His consciousness gradually returned, reaching hands into his bag for his lunch he began to silently eat.
When he finished, one of his classmate walk towards him, she was a stunning beauty with long blond hair reaching down her waist, and clear blue eyes that were dazzling in the sunlight that conveyed a sense of gentleness. She had a straight forward personality that gave people a kind of very easy to get along with feeling. At the corners of her Sakura coloured mouth she continuously wore a slight warming smile.
“Good morning Lucifer, no it should be good afternoon right? How was your weekend, you always look tired on Monday?”
“Yes just average like always”
The girl would greeted him was Jane a friend of Lucifer in the past but now they were not due to some reason but they still interacted with each other on daily basis.
"You never change, but i still can't beat the lazy you in the [Ranking] , how depressing"
[Ranking] was the national worldwide standard ranking of strength of 《Elstein Swordsman》.
Where one who be ranked according to there level of strength from 10 classes
and reward with a Title for each class up.
as well as a placing in the National 《Elstein 》 World Ranking out of the 1000 《Elstein Swordsman》 in the world.

Whereas Lucifer on the other-hand was not in the National ranking and had national strength 0 as he never bother to take to exams or register himself.
but he was Ranked 1 in the school Ranking, just for his lazy school life.
“Hey Hey Lucifer, since your awake today how about it, are you in the mood today for a rematch against me again, this time I wouldn’t lose! today i will surpass you”
Shouted a voice, slowly appearing behind Jane.
He was a 180 cm youth with silky black hair and a gentle and dignified brown eyes burning with rivalry towards Lucifer while emitting a samurai like atmosphere.
His name was Bright.
A perfect ideal man, good looks, athletic, smart, and good personality, Including a very strong sense of justice and motivation to strike forward.
but was too hotblooded and insensitive towards his surrounding.
Since he was small he attended another dojo and fought with Lucifer numerous of times but never once had he won, but always continuously challenged Lucifer to a fight for self-improvement in hope to one day suppress Lucifer.
but undoubtedly he was not weak, as he was ranked 3rd in the School Ranking.
And a national level of 60 just at the breakthrough point of < Saint > class.

Next to the right of him was a girl with long black hair, who was Bright’s twin sister Ellen Ranked 4th in the school ranking
and national strength of 58 < Saint > class.

She was a talkative and popular girl in class. Her open and direct attitude in dealing with people gained her their goodwill. Her breasts were somewhat lacking, but her slender figure as a sport ace was quite attractive. Her slightly slit eyes were sharp unlike her brother, but in the depths there is a feeling of softness, this gives her the impression of being cool rather than cold. She was tall for a girl at 172 cm, her posture and physique was very dignified and it was similar to samurai.
And to the left was a somewhat muscular boy with brown short hair giving off a reckless feeling named David, Brights best friend. He was the captain of the wrestling club and is a muscle brain that does not care about the finer details in things. His physique is like a bear and he stand tall at about 190 cm. The eyes he has shown sharpness. David was a very hot blooded individual that like others that put in effort like him and believes everything can be solved with effort and muscles and with his logic somehow got Ranked 8th in the school ranking

and behind then was 2 people which did not belong to this class but next door.
one was a silent girl with silver hair like Lucifer and frosty eyes that gave off an unapproachable feeling she was Athena Ranked 3rd with bright , her coldness had earned her the name ice queen, as she barely spoke to anyone except her five friends, but for some reason Lucifer could feel deep hatred in her eyes as she looked at Lucifer, but this was not the first for him so Lucifer already ignored it.
she has a national strength unknown to Lucifer, but was
Ranked 23 of 1000 in 《Elstein》 worldwide ranking
and the last one was a blond hair person with glasses with a face like a monkey,he was Oscar, his looks were average but his playful character was the attraction to many, where he was the joker of his class. but his strength was undeniable as his with his power and tactics won him Ranked 7 in the school ranking system of swordsman
and national strength of 55 of < Saint > class.
Ranked 27 of 1000 in 《Elstein》 worldwide ranking
These six was the so called popular group of 10 idols in the school that was ranked the best within the school best in looks, athletic, smart, and good personality wise and where in the 10 ten of the school known to be the golden generation of the era at such a young age achieving saint class at such a age was regarded as genius.
“No thanks, I can’t be bother, you always loss anyway” (Lucifer)
“Darn it I told you this time I will win, I have been practicing unlike you always lazing about being so unproductive don’t you want to strike forward I life”(Bright)

Ignoring these hot blooded idiots Lucifer stares out of the window grazing at the cloudy sky, it wasn’t as he hadn’t thought of what bright said but he being a Japanese strike forward for what purpose? Become strong for what? Just what is the purpose of his life? The inequality of the world, he had tasted before so he moved forward but in the end what is the point in his action. It will only lead to another tragedy like back then. What hope and motivation screw it all, life isn’t fair if you want to achieve something; you need to sacrifice something like successful people crush other people as stepping stones to achieve higher level, that is life. Even history mistakes have shown that it is like that, but humans always repeat the same times every time in progressive form. Maybe in a fantasy world be different and would rid this disgust towards humanity?
Lucifer’s face distorted with disgusted and regret for having such idiom and simplistic thought that it could be achieved as the thought slowly disappeared, a sudden bad feeling emerged from his heart.
Why? What wrong, something feels off.
Ever since Lucifer was a child facing life threatening situation he developed an ability to sense unusualness in his surrounding
Lucifer quickly stood up from his chair and looked at his surroundings in a hurry
Due to Lucifer sudden action, it attracted the whole class attention as many wonder what’s wrong that the lazy bum would get up, some even rejoiced at the thought that Lucifer has finally gone crazy and how to throw a party to celebrate but some feared that it was the end of the world at his unusual behaviour.
Suddenly the light outside disappeared from everyone’s vision, the sun had become black. It was an ellipse. But strangely the black within the sun slowly spread out the sun into the sky engulfing the blue sky changing it to a pure dark sky without any lights giving off an eerie feeling,
Sudden meteors and unidentified black objects began to fall into the city. However unlucky one Landing on the courtyard of the school ground where a gym class was doing their class and many students were squashed leaving a huge puddle of blood and dismantled bodies on arms, legs, torso, heads and bodies flying about and some hit the window smearing it with blood or flew directly into the classroom. Screams could be heard everywhere in the city in the school, just and meteor flew past Lucifer’s classroom and hit the classroom 2 rooms away.
Speechless, everyone was silent; no one spoke as they stared outside at the unexpected and gruesome situation.
Slowly fear and confusion ran throughout the class as the many trembled in fear screamed while other puke out their lunches and others tried to run out of the classroom but sudden the doors and windows slammed shut, students tried to open it with force smashing it with chairs but no uses
“Ah AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPEN”(Random student A)
“I’m scared, someone explain what is happen”(Random student B)
“SHIT , it’s the end of the world”(Realist/ Escapists student C)
“Hahahaha it can’t be right, it is a dream” (Mental Failure student D)
“God this is my first time actually full-heartedly praying to you, I sorry for everything I have done, please save me” (Shitty student E)
“Someone help me I don’t want to die” (Bitch student F)
“Shut the fuck up, you “ (Violent Student G)
“Urrghhhhhhhhhhh” (Puking Student H)
“You bastard you got it on me, I’ll kill you” (Violent Student G)
“QUIET DOWN EVERYONE” (Bright)
Shouted bright with a shaken voice but was still full of charisma, Suddenly the classroom quiet down and looked at Bright.
“Panic would help, everyone calm down first there must be a reason for all this maybe the teachers are trying to prank us, but let’s find a way out of here first before anything else”
Said bright in a tense voice thinking of the most positive and possible answer
Everyone listen to bright somewhat calmed down and start to look for a way out but anxiety still ran through the crowd, as they did not know what was happening. Currently, it was like they were falling down a deep cliff that looked like the entrance to hell. The only light visible was the light that illuminated the ground above was Bright that was full of charisma. As Bright continued to direct the student to find a way out, his thoughts were revolving like an lantern as many ideas passed by him.

while Athena stood there silently just staring at Lucifer and the monkey Oscar was running about cheer people up.
Lucifer at this time stood in the same stop staring outside and the wreckage and burning city thinking, suddenly something emerged out from the smoke caused by the crash of the black object, it was a monster.
A 3 meter tall black monster like an ogre with thick black arms and horns on top of his head, gruesome claws smeared in blood and sharp huge rotten teeth stick out of his mouth.
It slowly moved out the smoke and towards the school.
Students in the classroom looking for a way out obvious saw its appearance but no one spoke just screaming.
Suddenly the ogre grabbed a piece of debris and threw it at the school at a unimaginable speed of 1, 280 mph and crashed into the edge of the school building demolishing a quarter of the building in one hit
The watching Students leg gave way and they collapsed on the floor, some even peed their pant, but no one cared the monster outside was the embodiment of fear towards these peaceful and easy going students.
Bright, Jane, David, Ellen and even Athena and Oscar was petrified only standing there scared stiff.

Part 4
Panic arose in the surrounding, where they were all frozen in fear.
until a suddenly a girly scream could be heard outside; it was a small girl with long blond twin’s tails that was about the age of 12 or so lying on the ground covered in dirty looking at the monster 30 meters away with a fearful expression as it walks closer to her.
“Maria!!!”
Shouted Lucifer as he stared at the girl, he fully knew who she was. They have lived together for 12 years, she was Kusanagi Elstein Maria.
Lucifer’s little sister.
(Why is she here? Darn no time to think of that)
Lucifer quickly turn to his bag and pulled out a 125 cm rod engraved with the Elstein family symbol on it. Unzipping it a shining black Katana emerged, that gave off a cold and deadly atmosphere. Leaving the students staring at this dangerous object in amazement and fear, as one of their classmate actually carries such a dangerous with him.
This was one of the 《Kusanagi Elstein》 family’s 21 divine swords, - [ Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi.]
Unsheathing [Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi ] only had one meaning and that is to destroy everything in the users way, leaving nothing behind the sword of destruction.
This is the third time Lucifer was about to unsheathe this katana, but he knew nothing good will happen with unsheathing it, but he needs it power, but is hesitant if wants to repeat that tragedy again.
(No I wouldn’t let it happen again!!)
Deciding to not unsheathe the katana, he takes a stances with the unsheathe katana that is at his hip and draws and an arc with it slashing the window at a speed unseen by human eye, breaking the window glass into thousands of tiny shards that are evenly cut.
Lucifer Jumps out of the broken window, while his classmates scream at the another tragic that is going to happen in the future. A person jumping out of the 10 floor of the school building is practically suicide even for a < Eblstein Swordsman >, not daring to look, closing their eyes but some quiet and excitedly watch Lucifer fall to his death but their dream was not achieved Lucifer somehow safely landed on the ground with no injures, truly a miracle in their eyes.

Distance between Lucifer’s destinations was about 50 meters, dashing to the court field where Maria was with all his might. He arrived to see the ogre grabbed Muir on the legs and about to throw her into his larger and gruesome mouth.
“YOU BASTARD, WHO SISTER DO YOU THINK YOU’RE TOUCHING YOU OVERGROWN WEASEL SHIT HEAD”
In a flash on second Lucifer came right in front on the ogre, using unparalleled speed to shorten the distance in seconds and countless scarlet flashes erupt from [ Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi ], cutting and incinerating the arm of the ogres that was holding onto Maria.
This was one of the power of Scarlet true light style to emit a scarlet light of 1000 census when attacking to incinerate the enemy, thus why
the style is named [Scarlet].
Quickly jump to catch the unconscious Maria falling to the ground, Lucifer jump 4 meters away from the ogre as he caught her in his arms.
(Thank goodness, I made it in time)
Gently laying down Maria of the ground, checking her pulse and breathing, Lucifer sighed a relief in his heart, he had make it in time to protect his precious sister from being devour by that hideous monster.
Training for years, Lucifer could easily cut steel with an unsheathed blade but facing off against such and unknown opponent needs precaution is taught by the 《Kusanagi Elstein》 especially to this unknown monster, which level was unknown.
(Judging from the blow just now there seems there is nothing to worry about even with an ordinary slash should be able to cut this bastard)
Slowly the scarlet glow faded away leaving a simple black katana
Slowly turning his eyes back to the monster that was groaning in pain as it stood kneeling while cover in wound of its lost arm and the shoulders that was gushing out blood like a waterfall, if the blood is not stop in time, about 5 – 10 minutes time he would die. Know this the monster tightens its arm muscles and forcefully closed the wound. Getting up on the group the monster glared at Lucifer with eyes full of resentment and angry.
An insect like being dares to wound him; such humiliation cannot be quenched without the death of this insect is probably what the ogre is thinking seen in his eyes
But Lucifer did really care about what this thing thought, he only cared a thing the absolute destruction of this thing that dared to lay his filth and disgusting hands on his sister and utter unforgivable thing is to eat her, even with millions or trillions deaths cannot be enough for him to repent or satisfy Lucifer angry.
Staring at the ogre with cold dead eyes that felt the minus 100 degrees and emitting a serious killing intention, Lucifer slowly walked up to the ogre hold the unsheathed Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, in his right hand.
Feeling the killing intention from Lucifer, the ogre retreats a few steps at the feeling of fear within his heart, but as a great warrior he cannot retreat charging straight at Lucifer with his remaining left hand, he tries to grab Lucifer, just one squeeze and he can easily crush this insignificant being.
But things did not go as he planned
Lucifer step sideways evading his arm and within a second his left arm was torn to piece
“Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh”
“Shut up you pig”
Jumping into the air Lucifer does a roundabout kick with his right leg at the ogre chest, which emitted a bone crushing sound.
Everyone watching was sure that it was Lucifer’s bones that was crushed but unexpected the ogre flew back 2 metres with a chest emitting blood with blue and purple bruise roughly swollen at the size of any apple, judging by it, the ogre should have broken 5 rib cages and stabbed in to the lungs as he continuously grasp for air having difficulty breathing, but with its strong vitality living without air for 6 minutes should be the maximum at his current state.
Without waiting Lucifer charged up with Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi and cut off the ogres legs and horns in an instant
( Lucifer won against monster is what everyone in the classroom thought at that moment as the ogre had no arms and legs what can it do ?)
But Lucifer was not so kind-hearted to his enemy
“hey you beast do you know how I cut you, of course you don’t, so I will kindly tell you, it is one of 《Kusanagi Elstein》 Scarlet True-Light Style - Third Form Infinity Blade Arts – Silver Lightning Flash”
“you know this technique has a distinguish feature and that speed to cut anything into infinity at the speed of sound, where the cells don’t even know that they are cut”
The students and ogre shudder at this power technique but Lucifer did not stop talking
“So hears a real question do you know why is told you this?”
Suddenly this question hit them, yeah why?
Slowly an evil grin appeared on the mouth of Lucifer

Crushing a piece of the cut up ogre arm meat on the floor with his shoes and grinding it on the ground
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
Screamed the Ogre in a pitiful voice like a dying chicken
Yes the answer is that the cell did not even know it was cut and is somehow still sending nerve impulse to the ogres brain, this is one of the special features of Silver Lightning Flash
“Come on, it was just a little pain, don’t go crying like a baby, there still more to come”
Continually stamping, crushing, burning, slashing, force eating the ogre to eat it, the tragic torture continue until the ogres mind was crushed by pain and the brutally killed.
Still there was more enemies needed to be destroyed in the school grounds or his rage will not be calmed

This battlefield was an utterly one-sided slaughter.
The stench of burning flesh, the weapon like gun and bombs capable of blowing men apart, were all absent.
just a single sword flashed through the battlefield
The entire battlefield was dominated by an uncanny silence.
The attacks by the invaders, weather any weapons like swords, clubs, daggers, ; all were meaningless in front of one single youth.
The enemy soldiers still stubbornly resisting, but all in vain.
The students watching behind the youth , no longer even did anything; they merely stared at the fantasy playing out before them.
Seeing their comrades disappear one after the other, the invaders experienced the sense disconcerting mockery of reality.
The instinctive fear which should have arisen from the sight of this violent hurricane of death was not stimulating, and despite being eaten away by unutterable fears, surrender did not cross their mind.
That was just what Lucifer’s desired.
—All else was meaningless to Lucifer.
Currently, his spirit was one of frenzy.
All hesitance towards death and destruction had been removed.
It was as if he no longer remembered murder as a taboo.
He killed and destroyed as easily as he walked.
Rather, he obliterated everything in his way.
Even he could feel conflict from such wide reaching slaughter. But that conflict could not touch his immovable heart.
The sight of his sister on the brink of death had impacted him deeply to the core he dis not want to see again.
The moment the thought passed through his mind unable to protect his promise and important person life seemed like hell. Rage scuffled with him to obliterate anything that would bring the death of someone important to him.
He didn’t want to be helpless again and just watch
If he had not made it on time……that fear had been enough to drive even him into a panic. To Lucifer, for whom not even his own death could induce ‘true fear’ — more accurately, he had been deprived of such an emotion — the fear of losing someone again was all the more amplified for there being no other fears to temper him and shook him strongly, deeply, and utterly. However calm he appeared, he was currently seething with rage.
In the absence of any other emotions he was simply calmly, methodically retaliating without hesitation.
In a manner of speaking, it was a rational frenzy.
A madness dominated only by one purpose.
destroy all enemy with his madness to devoured the lives that get in his path.
Yes he was a God of Death rather than a human.
He is Kusanagi Elstein Lucifer - one of the strongest people in the whole world, The elite of the elites in murder. Facing many life and death crisis at a young age in countless battlefields dyed in the blood of countless enemies earning the name [Crimson Chaos]

There was no longer any sensation of blood welling up in her throat at all. Waking up she felt a soft and warm feeling.
" Maria , are you alright!?"
Opening her eyes she could see her brother’s anxious face filled my now clear field of view, while she was lying on his lap.
This is the first time in 5 years that she’ve seen this person’s face.
"Brother……"
For some reason, the word passed smoothly through her lips, there was no feel of stuttering at all this time, just a clear and soft tone. Even though she hated this person for what happened that day.
"Thank goodness……!"
Trembling Lucifer tightly hugged her in his arm while tears ran down his cheeks
“I was scared I thought I would lose you”

Her thoughts came to an halt, all these years she had blamed her powerless self for unable to do anything, training herself to become stronger, and greatly blamed her brother who process terrible or godly skills but did nothing and just watch as the tragedy happened, the angry and disgust towards her brother the ran away from everything, she hated him, really hated him there were many times she wished to kill him. Tears unknowingly flowed down her eyes she wanted to apologize but words did not come out, her throat was clotted with anxiety and fear, she couldn’t say anything just silently stared at her brother.

They both desperately reached out to each other, just a few centimetres away but their hands fade before they could grab each other.

The first to disappear was Maria leaving only the fearful Lucifer stare at the place where Maria was a second ago

3. Remaining 30% where a bunch of useless bums that where rotten to the core. Thus leading to a major change in the world
