The Interview

"Mr. Molseveski. Nice to see you here again."

"Agent Manning."

"You lasted no longer than five minutes as a free man before we caught you again. Do you have any thoughts on that?"

"I actually spent eighteen minutes as a free man, first of all. And B, I came back of my own will."

"You can tell yourself that all you want, but it doesn't make it true."

"But it is true. I left something in the prison that I really need back so I came back to get it."

"Admit it, Molseveski. You thought you could best the most fortified prison in the world but you couldn't. You couldn't escape getting into jail and you can't get out. We caught you and that's the end of it."

"If that's what makes you feel better, Agent Manning, by all means, think it. It will just be all the sweeter when I break out once again and you feel embarrassed at the whole thing."

"HA! As if you could break out again. No, no, Molseveski. You won't even make it within five feet of the wall next time. You'll have a guard on you at all times of the day. You-"

"Even in the bathroom?"

"Even in the bathroom."

"Nasty."

"And you will be given an electric collar that lets us control you from a distance if we sense even a spec of rebellion in you. You will not be able to escape the walls again."

"Getting past the walls will be as easy as ever, don't sweat."

"Even if you were, in some impossible way, able to make it past the walls, we have layers upon layers of protection set up for you that will make it impossible for you to set even a foot outside of the prison. Well, at least alive, you won't. Not to mention, you will no longer have many hours to spend outside but instead you will only get thirty minutes a day outside. You will also be put into isolation for the first week of having you back in prison. After that, you will be watched constantly from all angles and all guards will be on high alert."

"Oh, I understand now. You're doing all this because you don't know how I was able to make it past the electric fence, huh? Well, Agent, if I could stand how much voltage there was on that fence, don't you think I'd be able to suffer through whatever voltage is on that flimsy collar? Easy. Those outside fortifications are nothing. I could get through them in my sleep. Preferably, alive. Don't you know I have a guard on the inside? Easy guy to trick into doing what I want him to do. Quite a nasty beard, though. But see? I'll always have a way to escape."

"Thank you, Mr. Molseveski. You gave us just the exact information we needed. See you on the other side of the bars."
