Chapter 1
It's launch day and Stanley is looking at the number of people who have logged into his brand new game that he spent years making and making the multiple AI that runs it. He is just sitting in his office with the lights off because he was planning on leaving soon but wanted to see how many people actually log into the game on launch. Then everything started to go downhill. His Developers console started filling up with errors and after sitting there typing in multiple commands he finally finds out where the bug originated and found out that it was also causing bugs physically in-game. So he has to login to quarantine the area off so people are not causing cell pings re-engaging the glitch and causing more problems luckily it is in a higher level area but you never know how long it will take to fix a glitch or a bug. So in order to fully quarantine the area, Stanley decided to log into the game and do it from there with his master account instead of using his normal account that he would use with just testing out the game. Just because he likes to actually walk around in the world, and as he travels over to the area he can look through the files and see how to fix it so technically he is killing two birds with one stone.
“Let’s see what I’m dealing with here,” Stanley says to himself as he is flying over to the area. “Luckily even if this takes a few days it's not likely that someone is going to come across it since it is located in one of the level 50 zones.”
As he is traveling he notices that this glitch goes deeper into the system than any glitch he has ever seen, luckily it didn’t breach the core of the system which would mean he would have to shut down the servers and very slowly fix the whole system himself because if the AI were to work one it, they might get corrupted and cause even more problems. Causing Stanley to completely remake the whole game and all of the AI for it. Needless to say, he did not want to do that.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
During his flight, Stanley got a ping from his admin console signaling a bug report. Checking the ping he sees in the past few seconds he has gotten multiple reports of people being unable to log out.
“That is strange maybe the server is lagging and not registering their commands.” Stanley mused to himself. Thinking longer on it Stanley opened his console and focused on his person doing a few trial tests he opens and manipulates his HUD and settings and checking to see if there was a system delay through that. Seeing no delay and that everything registered correctly, Stanley then went to logout himself only to receive

“This isn’t right what is going on... until I can fix this I must warn the players that there is a bug and that we are unable to log out,” Stanley says then sighs “why do I feel like this is a lot worse than it looks like?
