I met a crew of collegers at the institution. From what I gathered, they were also fed up with the educational policy which enforced students to constantly attend college. The boys really did not understand at all what the teachers were preaching.
One day, Peter, the oldest in the crew, suggested that we were better off helping each other with the modules. He suggested that we were to open a Messenger group and exchange in it whatever could help with understanding what we were spoon-fed with in amphis.
This strategy worked marvelously at the beginning. It helped me have some extra time for myself. Time to dig deep into my favourite novels; time to binge on my favourite movies. However, with time our crew strated lagging. Notifications began to pop up less from the Messenger group. This meant no exchanges of helpful summaries of our college courses. This meant BACK INTO THE ENERGY DRAINING ROUTINE!
I suffered in the first semester like a pilgrim walking alone in the middle of the desert with no provisions to keep up with. But I had to. I had a brilliant idea. I thought if I could get a good grade in the first semester that would allow me to slacken in the second one, giving me time to enjoy life a tad.
Exams of the first semester came, and we all know that when this period comes, real geniuses rise up from underground, and, suddenly, you get to see all collegers get around them, attempting to extract as much information about exams as possible. A girl named Veronica was one of them.
Veronica was a genius. I mean a real genius. She was a colleger who didn't leave her first place, which was so near to the teacher's desk that you could feel, if it was available for her, she would have easily chosen to STICK HERSELF TO IT AND TAKE IT HOME WITH HER ALONG SIDE THE TEACHER OF COURSE!

When lessons finished, she always had a 15 minute talk with the teacher, preaching at the time. She let no information escape. THAT GIRL WAS HUNTING EDUCATION WITH AN ATTENTION MUCH LIKE A THOMPSON!
Like I said before, I was suffering, but I also was managing pretty ok. However an extra of good info from an Einstein wasn't bad. I HAD TO APPROACH THAT GIRL.
"Veronica! How are you?" I asked once after we finished classes.
"Do I know you?" she asked back, with a an air of dignity.
"No, you don't. But I believe we study together in Section one; Amphi 33." I said, negllecting mockingly her ego.
"Oh! Is that so? Can I help you?"
"Actually, you can. Can I buy you a meal in our canteen?"
"I am sorry, but I don't think I am supposed to sit with someone I don't know and talk of things over a meal! Besides, I am late on other duties!" she lectured.
"No need to misunderstand things, girl. I am not here to impress. I am here talking studies!" I said indifferently. The girl thought I was hitting on her!
"Oh! what do you need, friend?"
"Right! we're friends now? A little help with M1, if you could..."
"Heheheheh! It's a habit of mine, don't mind it. I can give you my handouts to picture them tomorrow if you like!" she offered enthusiastically.
"Good idea, if you don't mind." I said.
"No, I don' t mind at all."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
I wasn't pushy, and I got what I wanted. I believe that is how you should deal with girls. Deal with them as you deal with men! They are only humans. The darned handouts that Veronica gave me to picture helped me pass successfully M1 as it was the only module I faced difficulties with. V was my lucky charm. I even got a better grade than Veronica's in that module. Just imagine how she felt. She was in a frenzy, and she hated me for it. From that time on, whenever I happened to look at her, she frowned at me. Well, what could I do! It wasn't my fault that I concentrated better than her in that module's exam. Therefore, swim your ocean, V![1].
Concerning other modules, I managed just about right. My overall grade was 11 out of 20. I passed successfully my first semester. It was time to start thinking of repassing my BAX exam, to get the heck out of this institution. It was also time for little fun.
