Acceptance

Levi bowed before me as she held the fishing rod with renewed vigor. "Mother, I thank you for this chance, and I will not let you down!" I'm pretty sure I felt my eye twitch a tad when she called me mother, but I paid it no heed for now and attributed it to divine beings not having a true physical form. Zeus and Loki being good examples here considering they played the roles of both mothers, fathers, and everything else in between.

Before I sent them all out, Jess and Jane crafted gear for them to wear. Thankfully my golems were given basic clothes when I created them. I still tasked my seamstress that I created to make clothing for everyone, including myself so we had plenty of extra clothing in the wardrobe. With that said and done, I guided everyone outside to explore. Jess and Jane crafted swords for themselves to protect the others.

I didn't stop them since they should be able to handle any basic animals and creatures they may discover. What I do know about this dimension is that my home and anything directly around it will be perfectly safe. Outside of that, I have no idea. I connected all of my new golems to my server so they could communicate with me at any time, and sent them out. Also, I can apparently shapeshift, lovely. This totally didn't have to do with Levi calling me Mother earlier. The Collective is probably laughing at my plight right now.

I went over to the in house onsen to relax and observe what my rabbits were seeing. Also to test out the shapeshifting a bit. When I shapeshifted, I couldn't really control the form I took, but could only choose from three others. One was a much shorter form, similar to how ophis takes form. The other two were female versions of my current form and the shorter one. So I shifted to the female version of my current form.

My long hair took on a silver color similar to my golems, my skin was the same color, I had golden eyes similar to my rabbits, I was a bit shorter at around 5'10, I had some insane curves, an ass that could probably cause earthquakes with how fat it was, my thighs could crush mountains, and had tits that might as well be bigger than canon Yasaka. I stood in the mirror to admire my form for a while, before I thoroughly washed myself to prepare to step into the onsen. I guess I'll have to adapt to being able to be whatever I want. I'm still 100% into women though, that hasn't changed. Although I am going to mess with quite a few people in this particular form because it would be funny.

One thing that I am thankful for is the fact that I do not need to worry about back pain from these giants. I'm not sure about if I experience periods though. Dear Collective, don't let me have to experience that. Or at least let me have a magic way to avoid it. Regardless though, after I cleaned myself up, I put on my glasses, took a seat in the onsen, and pulled up all of the screens again.

The Fallen Mishala seemed stressed and excited as she was being put through a new training regime. It seems my attention caused Azazel to think that something was special about her. I couldn't tell anything different about her, but maybe my rabbit saw something I didn't. It's possible. Not that I would ever say that.

The magician was still in his cave, reading a book on what I assumed was some branch of magic. It looked like he was practicing some form of necromancy. Interesting to say the least. My rabbit was hunting nearby animals for him to eat, and he just went along with it without questioning it. I'll have to test the limits of this Legend of mine since there was nothing written about me in Azazel's office. Or maybe there was, but I wasn't able to get it that easily.

Power. It's a thing that my faction needs to obtain in order to survive this verse. Thankfully I have plenty of time. Although I would have preferred to not be so far from the 'canon' of this verse. The difference though, is I'm not afraid to go against canon events and toss them aside. It always annoyed me that canon events just happened to these MC's when they were fighting alone, or even with a few others but having no information network. Or even just somehow having knowledge of what will happen next, when it will happen.

My annoyance with these mc's following canon to a tea aside, I will carve myself into this world, no matter the cost. For that to happen, I needed to continue to create my rabbits, and spread them to every corner of this verse. First though, it's about time for me to make my next set of golems since the timers went off.

"Stop observing MIshala for now and follow Azazel around. You can come back to her later on." While it would be good to keep an eye on Mishala as she trained, I have been recording everything so I could reference it further. It would be better for me to have eyes and ears on Azazel instead. My rabbits still haven't found any devils yet, but I'm sure it wouldn't be long before they do.

Azazel POV

The rabbit showed up in my office again. This time deciding to just follow me around. That wasn't really a good sign, but there wasn't much I could do about it. I went off to meet the Cadres in order to discuss the movements of the other factions.

"Now that Azazel has joined us, I will start the meeting. If you look over the file in front of you, it should detail you on what happened a few hours ago." Penemue was motioning in front of us while holding a bunch of pictures that she started putting against a whiteboard. Looks like the powder keg to start this war would be the devils. Lucifer hasn't been the most patient person since he took up his current position.

"These damn devils. They attacked a church and a village of our brethren at the same time? We need to respond in kind!" Kokabiel had a point as sad as that sounded. Now wasn't the time to hesitate. Old pops is probably already putting things into motion to retaliate.

"Kokabiel is not wrong, but we need to plan on ambushing those devils. If we take them head on, we may be ambushed ourselves by Father's golden boys and girls." I nodded at what Satanael said.

POV Levi

When we started exploring our surroundings I was excited to find a lake, a river, or an ocean as soon as possible. I felt it. My fishing rod was connected to me. It chose me for this task, given to me by The Creator themselves. Our group didn't encounter many animals around until we spotted a vast river in the distance. I was pretty sure that my partner in fishing shivered when I got near the river. I'll have to request a home be built near here, and possibly a road to here.

Scratch that, a small fishing hut/house just popped into existence, along with a path to our main home. Mother must be watching over us. I looked around and spotted a rabbit nearby, it was one of us so that confirmed it. I graciously ran towards the river, and took a seat on a stump near it. I felt the fishing rod, and got to work, instinctively knowing what to do next.

Pov Mark

I really need to think up a new name. Something cool, something gender neutral, something somewhat unique. I mean, I'm supposed to be a god right? Who the hell would worship a god named Mark? Maybe the verse at large already has a name or two for me and I could steal it? Yeah, let's do that once I figure out more about my Legend. I'll have to stick to this female form for a while to get used to it, then I'll mess around with the shorter versions later.

3rd Person POV

The Golem Goddess seemed to have forgotten to grab an extra set of clothing before they went into the onsen. They just shrugged their shoulders and headed out with a large towel to cover themselves. This lead to a somewhat awkward situation however as this was the moment that the golem group returned from their adventure to report about what they had seen, not that Mark didn't already know somewhat.

"Father we have come to report our endeavors outsi…" Jess didn't manage to finish that statement before she noticed the very VIsible change that Mark took. The group for the most part paused everything, down to their bodily functions even. They weren't feeling fleeting feelings like lust, surprise, or happiness. No, when they stared at the endless golden eyes that stared back at them they felt one thing. Reverence.

"Excuse me for my outburst Mother. But we have returned to report about our actions outside and what we have discovered. To not interrupt you and save you time, I will compile everything into a file on one of the nearby computers." Jess bowed as she released that statement with baited breath, unsure if that was satisfactory enough. For some reason, she and her fellow golems felt that they should be more serious in everything they do when their creator took on this appearance. Except for one.

"Mama!" Levi vaulted towards the goddess and she caught them with open arms with a smirk on her face.

The sisters and the remainder of the group looked on with a twitch in their eye, or a shiver in their spine, unsure of what to do.

"Mom, we found this huge river! It had a whooole bunch of sea creatures that I never saw before. I wanted to catch them all, but we didn't have enough time, so I just caught this carp for now!" Levi didn't wait for anyone to react, and she pulled out a carp twice the size of any of them. Mark's only reaction was to pat Levi's head and she just snuggled closer into a hug while putting away the carp into Mark's inventory.

"Wonderful job Levi, I'm happy that you have been enjoying yourself so far. I hope the rest of you have been enjoying your time too. I know we are on a timetable and have to gather strength as quickly as possible, but don't forget to enjoy yourselves along the way like Levi right here. Now, I have to get dressed, so I will be heading up to my room." The goddess let go of Levi as the seamstress appeared with a red and black kimono at the ready, and a fan to go along with it. How it perfectly fits Mark, one may never know.

The seamstress passed off the clothing and Mark headed upstairs. Afterwards, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, even Levi surprisingly enough.
