Micheal, Jones and Freddy walked to the lined up warriors where they were then greeted by the whole tribe. Jones felt odd energy fall over him, something just didn't sit right. Jones looked at the beautiful faces of the people and was amazed by their different hairstyles which combined various braided styles and feathers. The first warrior nodded to Jones and proceeded to hold out his hands to take the tobacco.
Micheal nodded at Jones and they gave over the gifts. The warriors continued to walk back with them to the tribe's peoples. Jones looked up at the first row of buffalo hide tipis leading into saying out loud.
“Katawasisin ota.” ( It is beautiful here.)
“Awena ana napew?” ( who is that man?)
An Elder walks up and asks Freddy who looks back at Jones.
“Ostasahkew.” (The one who distributes rations.)
Freddy responds to the elder and the elder walks up to Jones looking into his eyes.
Jones stared back at the elder. He felt the elders gaze run deep into his soul.
Jones spoke to the elder.
“Tansi.”
“Tansi Tatawaw.”
Jones nodded and handed the elder a package of tobacco and the elder waved him into the crowd of tipis. Jones noticed the hides the old man was wearing looked real. Jones examined the cloned tribe members, noticing no children were present.
The tribe was made up of men and women ranging in different ages.
“Ke ahtawik kikway Ki machewe.” ( beautiful fur, did you hunt it?)
“Namoya nahahkis mache muskwa.” (No, my son in law hunted bear.)
Jones thought deeply about what the clone elder said then looked at Micheal then he looked back at the elder then he spoke gently.

“Eskosimaka.” ( Goodbye.)
The elder chuckled and walked past Jones. After taking a few steps into the tipis, Jones heard the elder speak back.
“Namoya Ka wapamitin asumena.” (No, I will see you again.)
Jones turned to see the elder but Jones saw no one, just the wide expanding fields. Jones walked up to micheal who was taking a seat in a half open tipi which had large buffalo hides on the ground many gathered around the elders and the visitors to see the meeting.
The elders opened the packages of tobacco and started to pray with the pipes holding them to the air 4 times then to the ground four times then they offered tobacco to the fire and began to pipe the tobacco. Jones was mystified by the elder man in a buffalo head dress. All the furs looked fresh and new. The elder smoked the tobacco and blew the smoke into the air praying the whole crowd silent in prayer as the elder spoke aloud.
“ kinanaskimotinan manito, Ni nanaskomon mechiwan ka meya, ekwa mena nanaskomon kakewow ni totemak ki ayawewa pahkwe numawew hiy hiy.”
(thankyou creator, we thank you for the food you have given us and we thank you for all the friends we have to share amen.)
The pipe continued around the circle and finally came around to Jones, he did not refuse and smoked the large bone prayer pipe. He inhaled and the pipe bowl glowed a bright red. He blew the smoke into the air and said.
“kinanaskimotinan manito.” (Thankyou Creator.)
The clone tribe was pleased with Jones and after the pipe went around the elder got up and offered some of the gifted food to the fire and then the clones passed the food around taking a piece of the meat being passed down and eating spoonfuls of beans. A young clone native woman walked up to hand Jones and Micheal a wooden bowl to receive some baked beans. Next another woman walked up in a beautiful long hide dress. She was carrying the can of baked beans. Jones lowered his bowl to receive the contents being poured from the opened can. Jones dipped his dried jerky meat into the baked beans and ate. He looked around and noticed all the clones doing the same thing as him. He was confused but he kept it to himself.
The food was delicious for what it was. Jones was hungry; he only financially struggled the whole last four and half years due to Justine Trudeau's undemocratic policies.
Then Jones felt someone staring at him. He looked around with a keenful eye. Then he spotted the elder man standing in the distant trees looking at him. Jones went silent looking at the man.
“Kekway naspac?” (what's wrong?)
Jones shook his head. Micheal ignored Jones and continued to eat.
When they were finished Micheal stood up and tapped jones.
“Astum ota isi.” (come, this way.)
Jones followed Micheal to the middle of the beautiful large tipis. Jones saw a beautiful woman standing in the middle of the tipis. She was dressed in a very revealing buckskin top and skirt. Her hair was long and wavy. She had beautiful shells which were sewn to her hide top.
“Ota ke Ooohoo iskewe.” (this is owl woman.)
“Tansi.” (how are you?)
Jones said to owl woman.
“Meyosin keya ma ka.” ( good what about you?)
“Meyo.” (Good.)
Jones smiled back at the friendly Clone woman. Micheal spoke out.
“Weya sipwehtew keki.” ( she goes to your house.)
Owl woman looked at Jones, smiling as she reached out and hugged him.
Micheal spoke to them as they hugged.
“Keyawaw Kiwe.” (all of us go home.)
“Astum asici Oooohooo Iskewe.” (come with us owl woman.)
Owl woman smiled as she followed Micheal and Jones out of the Tipis and back towards the grassy path through the plains.
