Chapter 2 –
“Apologies everyone for high-jacking this auspicious event, but I’ve got some wonderful news that will undoubtedly delight everyone here.” -Admin
This was potentially a brand new world. I did not want to die here, the crippling fear of the unknown demons fighting and killing coursed through me, especially if what the self-proclaimed trickster god is true. But I couldn’t just lay here and do nothing, I had to face my fears, whatever may happen I cannot do anything if I don’t see or know anything. So I opened my eyes to take a look around. Without moving my body at all, I scanned whatever I could see. It was pitch black, just like in the cave, but judging from the floor I was lying on it was not the same floor as the cave before. It was smooth, very smooth. Not being able to see made me focus on other senses. The smell was just like stone barely there even with my nose touching it, but my ears picked up something, the silence was dead like before, there was something very faint. A rumbling rhythm is all I could make out.
Then it happened, I felt shapeless pressure from all around me. It made me suffocate, in a way I didn’t think was possible. I was breathing but it was without substance, I didn’t feel the air fill my lungs, even though I was gasping for air and could feel my nose and mouth go through the motions just like any other time. The air was there, yet for some reason, it refused to obey me, I mustered all the power I could to try and pull in a breath, to no success. The pressure I felt was crushing me like an immovable object was placed on my body. I could feel my life drain away from me as my consciousness drifted away once again. The pressure around me was tangible like a mist and had a malicious attribute to it, at least that’s what I felt from it, but who knows what it was. The next moment before I completely passed out, it simply disappeared. Opening my and basking in the fact that I could breathe freely once more, I tried to get up since I could not see anything that seemed like the best option. I pushed myself onto my knees first and tried pushing myself up, but I immediately felt resistance, it was like thick steel bars, but they were warm. So, I stood on my knees trying to take a look around.

Unfortunately, it was still darker than the abyss and I did not see anything. My situation was dire, and I had no idea what was going on, what was around me, or how I got to where I was. At a loss as to what to do, I decided to call upon Saika, but there was no response. As I was looking around, suddenly I felt or saw a strange ripple somewhere in front of me, surprised that I could see it because of the darkness, before I could even consider what it could mean, there was soft light all around me like torches with dim light, so it was still fairly dark, but I could now see. On a risen platform there was a throne-looking stone chair and sitting on it was what appeared to be a person with long horns growing up from just above the hairline and crimson red eyes with jagged looking slit pupils looking straight at me from about five to six meters, but I could not hold his gaze. Quickly glancing to his side, I saw another person, with the most perfect representation of the female form. Better than anything my measly imagination could come up for beauty. Similarly, the person sitting on the throne her eyes had jagged slit pupils, but her eyes were full orbs of gentle gold instead of the menacing crimson. I could not take away my gaze from her beautiful face, that small nose, porcelain-like skin and perfectly symmetrical features. Even though I felt something was wrong and at the back of my mind I knew I had apocalyptic stuff to worry about I could not bear to not look at her. She smiled at me, such a small and brief action, I felt like I would die for her if she asked me to right this instant. But when her subtle smile disappeared, I could not make out her features anymore, like a fog settled on her face that distorted everything into a blob of paint and so my mind cleared, and I could look away now.
