In the emptiness of the void, a man floated engulfed by darkness all around him as if consuming him. It was a realm where no sensation remained where one’s mind could not tell if it was up or down or to the side, detached eerily from whatever bounds mortal bodies to their souls. He felt nothing just an endless, suffocating void, struggling the man tried to grasp his situation but his mind refused to focus enough to ask, where was he, where was here, how is he here and why?
His thoughts were interrupted by a flicker of light in the distance, a beacon in the endless darkness, he couldn’t help but focus his gaze on its calling. As the light grew clearer, he witnessed a horrifying spectacle unfolding on the surface of a terrifyingly close moon.
Two entities, otherworldly and magnificent were locked in a fierce battle. The first creature emanated a brilliant white light, its form shimmering with an ethereal glow that seemed almost divine and eyes that looked made from the purest gold.
The second was a stark contrast, an enigma of darkness that emanated a faded violet light surrounded by a shifting mass, defying the laws of physics as it alternated between solid, liquid, and gas. It was like a living shadow, a manifestation of profound darkness that seemed to devour the light next to it.
Their battle was a spectacle of light and shadow, a dual of two forces from worlds beyond man's comprehension. As he continued to watch his gaze locked in place, he could see that the dark entity was gaining the upper hand, with terrifying ferocity it lunged at its luminous opponent, transforming into a monstrous maw that clamped down on the other's neck.

The creature of light faltered and started to topped onto the surface of the moon, in its moment of weakness a dark tendril from his opponent sealed its fate as it slashed the already opened wound with precision. As it collapsed a white and golden liquid began to pour from it, but when it hit the surface, it transformed into a crimson-red color that began to paint the moon its color.
Then, in a moment that felt both eternal and fleeting, the dark creature turned its gaze towards the man. Its eyes, violet lights amid its shadowy form, bore into him.
And he could not look away, slowly its whole body turned changing shapes all the while, it looked like the creature was closer than before, or was it he who drifted closer, the man did not what do to, try as he might he could not resist nor move, or maybe he could but he didn’t know.
As he got closer he started to hear a voice.
“…”
“…”
“M…”
“Mas…!”
“Master… please open your eyes!”
With that, the creature and the moon disappeared, and in their stead, he saw aqua-colored eyes covered with tears looking at him.

“Chapter 1 A Bittersweet Reunion”
“Who could have guessed that they would meet him like this? I wonder if that day the gods played a cruel trick on us for what we have done. Though I could not say what the god’s intentions were I could tell you what were ours. An end to the shadow that haunted our world, and to set us all free, no matter the cost”
