I just wanted to thank everyone for reading up to this point. The previous chapter marked the end of the first week - the first volume, so to speak.
As some might have noticed, the previous chapters were somewhat scattered insofar as a cohesive narrative was concerned. That is because it took up until this point for me to begin to take this seriously as a project I wanted to commit to - even if only for myself, originally. I began finally taking notes, taking stock of characters, and adding some (loose) planning to act as ideal goals. As such, the preceding part was actually entirely done with a 'note' document with some back-editing for cohesivity. All ~240k words of it.
I'm still a free-writer, however.
Yet, the directions allowed me to concentrate more on the upcoming parts and expand upon the events to, I believe, make them more interesting - even if they're only minor 'slice-of-life' esque points. That remains the core tag, even if it does include other aspects. In other words, while I do add some larger plot-points, most are being prepared to set up 'events', so to speak.
Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on Royal Road.
Regardless, thanks for giving this work a chance since it turned out to be larger than myself.
If it is at all possible, I would like to ask you all to consider sparing some time to possibly give the work a review. Be honest if you do. I don't mind criticism and I prefer such things to be accurate instead of just being needlessly hyper-sensitive and accommodating to my perceived 'feelings' as an author. I just prefer the feedback. Nevertheless, you're under no obligation to do so. It just would help me in the future.
Best regards and I hope to see you all for the next week - whether or not I release 'next week' in the next week? It's confusing. But 'volume' also isn't necessarily correct either. It's more akin to an easier way to categorize rather than it following the norms and standards that accompany the writing process of set things. (I mostly didn't want to write '1.000x' from the beginning and 'chapter' is a word that I'd begin to loath after writing it as a title - since I need at least three characters in the title.)
Uh, I'm rambling. Bye.
Ahem. Let's make it more exciting? Bye! That's better, right?
