In just 20 mistakes, Kevin Brubaker has managed to get him and his Core killed and captured, respectively. There was no battle spanning dozens of chapters, no last chance to pull some all-might power of his ass. None of that.
If Kevin had been a better Manager, he would've made sure his Core would have enough Tower Points at all times should he need to be resurrected. Heck, he would've made sure there was no need for said resurrection. Alas, our dear waste of a Tower Manager was not up to the task.
He allowed his delusions that his 'peaceful' Tower would convince any adventurer that killing him wouldn't be worth the time to get in his head, thus underestimating just how murder-hobe-y the world's denizens are. Nevermind the fact that he had royally screwed up and pushed his Core past the breaking point.

Jeffrey snapped, overriding Kevin's inherent control of the mobs in order to kill his useless overseer and, in the process, locking himself out of the system and his potentially unlimited power. The invaders disabled him temporarily, took all they could from the Tower, and sold the loot for a pretty penny.
And so The Chronicles of Kevin's Mistakes ends here. Kevin is no more and his blight upon the world shall no longer be of any consequence.
Good day.
