Jake Daggerheart faced the building he was going to go in to. His mothers Nataly and Yuki Kasaki had chosen to move from the Border-Line between the D.A.R(Democratic Alliance of Races) and the 'Barren Lands'.
("Go, or you'll make your mothers cry.") Jakes remember the words his mothers told him last night during dinner in unison. They were like twins.
Jake snorted at his thoughts.
Jake sighed at the obvious blackmail, they both knew he loved them to much to say no to them, even if he hated to be around people. His "job" before coming here was to stay hidden and away from them to complete his task not to talk to them and make idle chatter.
If he did that he wouldn't be here at the moment. He had a strong urge to hide himself in the shadows, but resisted.
He knew why his mothers send him here and why his mom Nataly the member of the C.O.R(A.N- Pronounce CORE and stands for Council of Races) would throw her weight around to take him out of his "Cleaning Job" and announce his existence, which was a secret.
Jake sighed again as he started to remember the history lessons which were painfully drilled in to his brain when he was but an egg inside his mother womb. O.K not painfully but been a baby with a mind that held the experience and knowledge that only many adults would have was hell on Earth. What made it worse was his mix D.N.A he aged a lot slower than Humans one humans years was barely half of one of his years. This continued until he turned 42 in humans years while his body was that of a 21 year old, that's when he stopped aging completely.
Prologue
*************************HISTORY LESSON(A.N-Love it I tell you!)********************************
Two hundred years ago a meteor hit Earth and from it a portal opened and from this portal creatures emerged, things only seen in mythology and folklore. The humans called them monsters but later on they were given the title of Demi-Humans. The Demi-Humans were made of hundreds of Clans some smaller than other but they were all lead by one Race, the Draconians. Decedents of the might Dragons of old and fantasy.
The Demi-Humans waged war against the humans with their unique weapon. Something humans of Earth did not posses. Magic.
The humans could not successfully fight back against something that distorted and trampled on science and logic. Reality as they knew had changed.
Nation quickly fell, first was the Americas and then Canada fallowed by Africa. The American government while strong received the un-pridicted attack and couldn't react to the Demi's (A.N-Short for Demi-humans) Magic, after which the Demi's establish an empire known as the Rekaes Tersril which meant Bestial Empire in the tongue of the invaders.
The Humans and Demi's fought for decades and the war seem to be in no end and the Humans now only held Asia and Europe, all the other continents had fallen to the Rekeas Tersril.
In desperation the leaders of the Humans during the Mytho Conflict decided to accept the idea of a new and upcoming scientist. Her name was Kanako Hasaki, she proposed to modify humans with Demi-Human D.N.A to give them access to the Magic that the new Earth held to be able to counter the Demi-Humans.
Her theory proved right, just a few years later after Hanako gave birth to her daughter Yuki the first Legion of G.M.H.'s(Genetically Modified Humans) were seen in battle.
It was carnage, both sides lost many but at the end humans stood above the invaders. But now Humans were greatly outnumbered, there heavy losses were mostly men, now the humans ratio of man and woman was 1 man for every 4 woman.
To busy fighting they failed to notice that the Demi-Humans did not come alone. While they fought the Monsters that crosses over to Earth during the Opened Portal flourished in Antarctica and the North Pole. The monster involved beyond even what the Demi-Humans knew.
The monsters attacked at first with small waves but they became larger and larger. Both Humans and Demi's lost territory and people. It got so bad that the only choice the two Nations saw was to unite against the common enemy.
This Union was called the Democratic Alliance of Races.
The D.A.R were pushed to the Asian, European and North American continents everything else was Monster territory known as the Barren-Lands.
Now each continent had a battle-school were young men and woman, mostly woman since men had died in great numbers in both sides during the Black Waves went to train in the art of war and fighting. The monsters were strong and the only thing the D.A.R could do was try to survive.

Little did they now, Monsters come in all shape in sizes. Even Humanoid ones. (A.N. - Muahaha Muahaha *cough* *cough* excuse me. Just guess who the Monster is, just guess!)

Jake shook his head he needed to stop stalling and head in to the building. Classes were not going to wait for ever and even though he deem all of them useless as he had their knowledge and more in his head since he was born, that didn't mean they knew of it. His mother told him that she wanted him to rise up in the ranks, that last thing she wanted was her son and creation to be used as cannon fodder, even if it would take complete and utter destruction to really kill him. He couldn't deny the wishes of one of the only two people he loved and care for in the world, even if it meant helping the rotten little shits that crawled in fear of the monster beyond their borders.
He only saw them humans and Demi's that is as vermin, back-stabbing, cruel and selfish vermin. His previous "Cleaning Job" has showed him this and more.
He clicked his tongue and walked up to the doors, he wanted to kick them open but again he resisted the urge and barely mange to open the door carefully.
"Hi their baby, how are you doing? Aren't you late? The son of the Director can't be late! Sweety, you told Yuki that you would try." Nataly pouted her lips a few feet away from him.
Jake froze hearing his second moms voice. His left eye twitch momentarily in annoyance.
He knew it! There was always a catch! He just knew it!
One of Nataly's wishes was that she could one day teach Jake something, how ever small it was not to mention they both had been talking about meeting girls and hanging out with friends more often to Jake.
Their elaborate plan suddenly emerge in his mind.
He has fallen like cattle to the slaughterer.
He was anti-social, so what did they do put him in a place where been socially active pretty much meant everything and if he failed he would embarrass his mom's and himself.
Jake's shoulders slumped as he resign to the wishes of both his moms. He might have been created by Yuki and Nataly but their blood still ran in his veins and Yuki had given birth to him. The reason why he was heavily modified since he was an embryo was because Yuki had feared he would one day share the same fate as her mom, death by a Monster jaws so she made sure nothing could hurt her and Nataly's baby and they would show would teach him what was "right" from "wrong".
Jake has learned well from them, and even killing the vermin around him just for shits and giggles didn't sit well with him.
He only killed those he saw as a threat to him or his loved ones or those who prayed on the weak, mainly woman. After all the only people he cared about were woman. But unlike others he would not hesitate to kill there was no alternative. He didn't have any illusions of mercy or forgiveness, they did not exist in his mind for those he saw no worth in.
Only death could atone for some transgressions, we was no saint but he would never do what some of these vermin do. Just thinking about it filled him with such rage that his Magic surrounded him, when he did like a black aura of eminent death.
"Chop, chop mister get to class." Nataly went around Jake an placed her hands on hims back.
She pushed him to his first class, she had memorized her babies schedule.
She kissed him on the cheeks and wished him good luck after knocking on the door.
Jake saw his mom leave and sighed facing the door which was opening.
"Well here goes nothing." Jake spoke under his breath while the door fully opened.
A male human with square glasses and a punchy figure stood before the door.
"You must be Jake-kun, come on in and introduce yourself. Everybody else already did, I was about to start classes." The man spoke with a calm voice.
Jake almost...... ALMOST tared his eyes out but he resisted while he ran a mantra in his mind of (For my mothers, for my mothers!)
He walked inside the class room until he was in front of all the other students and looked at the people he was going to get to know and fight with for the next few years and some even their whole life as a A.M.F member.
"Damn vermin." Jake was the only one to hear his words.
