I always wondered what was the role of the Gods? Wasn't it to guide humanity into the right path and protect them from the dangers?
Yet, what were the Gods doing to protect us? Were they even putting some effort into it? I don't know about the other Gods, but what I know for sure is that War God Zeratul is one selfish and arrogant piece of sh*t.
How do I know this? Cause he is supposed to be my father. Though he never took the responsibility of me or my mother.
According to what my mother told, Zeratul had to leave us cause he couldn't leave the Asgard for too long. He had left my pregnant mother with a promise to return. He did keep his promise by returning, but it was after 18 years. I was then 17 years old, my mother had died when I was 9 cause giving birth to me, a half-god had caused her health to deteriorate which finally lead to her death.
The society thought I was a bastard son of a noble and left me to rot alone. Having lost my mother and unable to tell the world about my parents, I suffered alone in my house. When my father came to meet me, I was happy that I finally got to meet him. I thought he would end my misery and take care of me. But, the first thing he did after seeing me was laughing at my pitiful state. He told "You are an unwanted existence. You are the mistake I made with that gorgeous lady I met when I descended to have some fun on the Human world."
He, the God of War didn't even remember the name of my mother. He told " You aren't meant to exist but, I , the great God of War Zeratul is merciful. I will let you live. " with a disgusted expression. I was filled with resentment and hate towards my father. Unable to do anything with my helpless life, I decided to end it.
