Walking along I almost make it to the mountain when I see another goblin. This time I decide not to beat the shit out of it. Using my new [Monster Tamer] skill [Tame] on it I see something new in my view.

Well, it needs a name so I guess I will call it Ray. I will try to level him to his max. Actually, I wonder if it can talk?

"Can you understand me?", I ask Ray. I get a blank stare in response so I guess that's a no. Well, I might as well continue on.

Continuing up the mountain I see a wolf. I tell Ray to go to the left while I go to the right. Creeping close to it I tackle it while I let Ray start wailing on it. The wolf never stood a chance and soon it stills.

It seems that Ray has more of a spark in his eyes then he used too.

It is nice to know how well that went. Just as I think that I hear a howl. Turning in that direction I see a pack of 5 wolves with one being slightly taller than the others. Insantly I tell Ray to climb up a tree as he would not last long. Turning back around, I turn just in time to be tackled against said tree by the large wolf. Keeping my feet I return with a solid fist to the muzzle of the beast dazing it. Just as another wolf is getting ready to pounce, Ray throws a large branch on it's head.

The branch takes out the wolf. Pressing the advantage against the Alpha I put another punch directly into it's eye, downing the beast. Now only facing 3 wolves I kick one in the head and slam into another. Dropping from the tree onto the last wolf, Ray slams it's head into the ground. Letting Ray finish the last 2 wolves I dazed, we get some more notifications.

I am very interested in this evolution so I use my system to view the options.

I decide on the Omega evolution because they are the most loyal and I don't want Ray challenging my authority and I feel it would be better down the line for me.

Looking at him, I see he looks like a human child with light blonde hair. He also looks far more intelligent then he did.

"Master, I have evolved! I thank you for your guidance and protection.", says Ray, shocking me. It seems he really did become smarter.

"You are welcome little guy, you and I are going to become the Champions of the Goddess."

"Goddess? What Goddess does master follow. I will devote my life to Master and his Goddess." claims Ray.

"I am the Chosen of The Goddess of Might, Brighild and I will restore her power and claim Godhood."

"Master is a Chosen!? I will devote my faith to Brighild, Goddess of Might directly under Einar Vidarsun."

Suddenly a feeling of power rushes through me and into my divine connection with Brighild.

"Well look at you, you have already increased my power. I'm very proud.", powerful female voice suddenly says in my head.

"Brighild? Why can I hear you?"

"You gave me more faith to mess about with, so I can talk to my worshippers now"

"Okay, I am going to that mountain to set my self up."

"That is a good place but you will have to deal with the Troll of the Black Mountain. She has never been one to share her home."

With that in mind, we set off up the mountain.
