I woke suddenly, ripped from my dreams of a good life. I opened my eyes to see a little girl standing in front of me, smiling cruelly. She had a turquoise dress with intricate white patterns sewn into it. She had short golden hair, and stunning blue eyes.
"Who are you?!" I yelled, my voice echoing around the alley.
"I, my friend, am Aqua, the goddess of ice and water," she replied calmly. I stared at her.
"Though you do look the part," I began to say, but she interrupted me.
"You may only speak when I tell you to." I tried to speak, but realized that I didn't remember how when all that came out was gibberish.
"Now you know for sure that I am a goddess. And now you are coming with me."
And everything went dark.

I awakened some time later in a place I didn't recognize. It was a place I would remember forever. It was a gargantuan hall, made completely of solid gold, shining pillars lining the sides. But that isn't what I would remember. There were gold slabs scattered all around me. There were creatures tied to them. They were human sized, but looked like an experiment gone wrong. Every one of them looked like a cross between a human. . . And something else. None of them had any clothing on, meaning I could see every inch of their hideous forms. Then, as my mind cleared fully, I realized that I was also tied to a golden slab. I began to scream. Then I saw that I was naked as well. I screamed harder. I tried to yell for help, but all that came out was gibberish. Then I heard a voice say something.
"Shush." Suddenly, I couldn't make any noises come from my mouth. I couldn't see anyone, but the disembodied voice continued.
"Now, my pet, It's time to play!" Then I felt pain everywhere in my body. It was so extreme that my limbs stopped working, and my vision blurred as I silently cried.
