"How did this even happen?" - Dyrus
To quench his burning rage, he decided to distract himself by thinking back to when this even started.

'How the FUCK did this happen!?’
These are the current thoughts of a person who had gotten himself lost after both him and his college buddies were chased away from their camp by a large brown bear. Of course they all ran with the intention of absolutely not dying, but one of them who was unlucky and tripped got mauled by the bear.
"AHHH! HELP!" He tried screaming, but that made him draw the bears' attention again, and was quickly killed after the bear clawed him a second time.
One of them had stopped in fear, but that was a bad idea. He had already drawn the bears' attention to himself, and the bear quickly lost interest on the mutilated corpse and ran up to the guy. Our protagonist saw all this happen after he had seen the first glance from when his friend had stopped, he hesitated but the terrifying scene had overridden him with an intense fear, so he made a quick decision and decided to start running again while the bear was still distracted.
When he finally stopped after a long run, he realized that he could no longer hear the sound of his friends screaming, he started to to calm down, but his face quickly became pale with the thought of the bear showing up again. He had tried reaching out to his pocket, but quickly remembered that his phone had been left behind at the camp...he then started breaking down.
*crying* "Fuck, Shit, FUCCKKKK!" *BANG!*
Right at that moment a loud bang suddenly resounded within the vicinity. He heard a piercing ring resound in his head, and instinctually looked at the direction of which the explosion resounded out with a pained expression. What he saw was a bright blue, hazy light, it was constantly swirling, and looked like some kind of vorte–
*RAA* "Fuck, it's here!"
With the bear making a sudden appearance, he had no choice but to make a gamble, our protagonist unhesitatingly ran and jumped into the swirling "light".
He had gone into the "vortex" caused by an irregular event back in a different world whose properties are very distinct compared to Earths'. This caused an intense distortion to appear within a separate universe, with a random set location.
The man's body was destroyed by the violent trace of chaotic energy within the huge void, but because his soul did not have a physical property it managed to remain preserved. After the disturbance disappeared from Earth, everything related to the energy traces returned its original location.
"UGAAH!"

"AGH! WHA-!”
‘What was that?’ ‘Where am I?’ When the man woke up, he found himself in a dark location, felt really stiff, and it smelled terrible. ‘What’s going on?’
He looked up to see the clouds covering the white silhouette of the moon hanging over.
'How long have I been out?' The sudden realization of events had confused him.
*squelch*
Suddenly he felt something soft. "What is this?"
At that moment a deathly silence enveloped the surrounding, he didn't understand what it was, but he had the sudden feeling that something bad would happen. The moon had finally escaped the clouds cover, and the hazy, shining light gave had given him barely enough light to see what's going on, but once he did he finally screamed.
"AHH! Wh-What?!"
What he saw was a head that had half of its face torn open, it even had some maggots growing in its eye socket. He looked the other way disgusted, but everywhere else he looked it was just full of mutilated corpses. Some had limbs missing, entrails sticking out, and even a headless corpse of a woman held what seemed to be a child's arm in her embrace.
He didn't pay attention to any of this though, because he got up and started running immediately after he saw the sight of the maggots inside the man's head, but no matter where he looked or went, he would keep seeing corpses.
After a long run, by the time he realized it, he was already by the side of a large pond.
"...Um?" At this point he started wondering what was going. He tried to recall his best of what happened, that's when an uncomfortable feeling in his head started. His eyes felt very sore, and so he tried touching his face and noticed his hands were covered in some kind of black paste, he tried to wipe it off but up to no avail.
He then looked at the pond again and decided to use the fresh water to wash his hands and face. He didn't see that the black paste had started to turn red due to receiving moisture...it was blood.
When he looked at his hands again he realized that they looked incredibly different. Instead of his rough tanned skin that he was so used to seeing, he instead saw a pair of small, frail, and "snow-white" looking hands, which with the inclusion of the dripping red liquid made it look extremely surreal.
"What's going on!?"
"...?" 'What's wrong with my voice?'
He suddenly realized that his voice sounded somewhat childish. He went to touch his throat with his white, pale hand. The shock from everything hadn't recovered yet, so he still felt incredibly dizzy, but he could tell that what he was seeing was not a dream.
"M-My hair!" Yes, even his hair was different from the past. He had remembered dyeing his hair dark-brown two weeks ago, but now it had changed to a dark, greasy black. Since his face was still overhead from the pond water, right when the ripples went away, he finally discovered that he was no longer himself anymore.
"Who a-AHH!"
Suddenly he felt an intense headache writhe inside his head. Such an intense pain could make any man die of shock, and yet he was still fine. He couldn't really think about the pain though, because after the sudden event, a massive flood of unknown memories currently filled his mind.
