There isn’t an hour in a day where I don’t have you on my mind. With every passing moment, I yearn to be in your warm embrace again. After you disappeared, I spiraled into a grave depression. Life had lost its vigor without you by my side. I spent many months secluded in my room–a straw away from ending it all. The only thing holding me together was the belief that you are still out there somewhere.

But then, I finally realized that sulking in my own despair wouldn’t solve anything. If I truly believe that you are out there somewhere, then there has to be a way for me to find you. Everything we thought we knew about this universe changed that day, and I intend to figure out its secrets. It doesn’t matter how long it takes.

Today is the first day that I’m back in the lab. Micha and Darlene have agreed to help me with my endeavors. All I can do is pray for your well being and everything else should work out as it should. I’ll have so many questions to ask you when I find you. And who knows, you might be actively looking for a way back right now. You’re resourceful and much smarter than me. I probably shouldn’t be worrying as much as I am.

He was silently reading over my shoulder right now. You know how he is. I gave him a good wack for that. You probably would’ve chuckled if you were here. Shoot, I miss that smile of yours. I’ll figure out how to find you as quickly as possible, so just be strong for me, okay?
