Epilogue

The sound of a babbling brook trickled in the air and echoed off the trunks of the cherry and jungle trees as it snaked its way through the rainforest.

An elf stood amongst the giant ferns and large overgrowth that blanketed the forest floor, hiding him from the harsh rays of the sun.

His silver hair ruffled along with the breeze, the ground shaking beneath his silver boots violently, then visions flashed in his sterling eyes.

Above the canopy of trees, a dragon circled the forest, its green scales glinting off the sunlight, the beast’s motives clear and evident as malice seeped from its body, it was looking for someone.

Then the creature spotted the elf and without warning the opened its maw and blew down a breath of flames that engulfed the forest around him.

The white elf ran through the burning trees as the sky grew dark with smoke as embers rose, the smell of charred wood thickening the air sickly.

White silver boots shifted into white furred paws, the in place of the elf was a white tiger whose stripes were silver. He let his large paws carry him away from the flames.

He pushed his was through charred ferns, only to fall into a large crater that took place of a stretch of land that once housed a temple of the Rainforest, swallowing the tiger whole.

He closed his eyes out of fear, his heart pounding in his chest, but he never hit the ground, no pain to be found. So he opened his eyes once more and was surrounded by starlight.
