You walk through the road, the only thing you see is bodies of Cavum Beasts, a great amount of blood, and Centipedes with no one to control.

It was a long fight between those beasts, but why?, is it just their own Instincts?, or is there something more deep?

As you go, the place gets more snowy, you arrived at a hamlet, it looks familiar..

Its the Cavum hamlet, it looks different, but sometimes did not change at all, lot of houses and Beasts there...

Before you get to fight the Beasts, you feel like something is approaching you from the back, you turn back, he is a human..

His Fancy garb looks like the one Albert had..

"Oh, Thou noticed, I wanteth thee to know about my presence, but I did not know how to..."

"Osirus, after the death of Lector, travelled to the Abyss, to seek another samble of blood, what happened after?, I do not know, for sure, the only thing I know that whatever touches the darkness, they turn into one."

You tilt your head again.

You ask him about him being here.

"Oh, Scriptor told me about thy journey into the Lakes, and told me that I must share my knowledge with thee."

"We are at the Cavum village, a place far from the Cavum hamlet."

"Here, lays a formidable Beast, of a Cavum scholar, named Aurelius, known for Grafting men in his Flesh, granting him the title of 'devour of men', a Worthless being indeed, but far strong for the hunters."

He laughs, you think it's better to go inside now.

"I will stay here until thou finish exploring."

Chapter 4.1: Inside the Cavum Village.

You walk off Ameillius, you see dead bodies of Beasts, and bloodshed everywhere you walk.

However, You see a passive Beast, sitting at the ground, mumbling, you decided to approach him, he gaze into you.

You stay In front of him.

"Ah, Thou art a Traveler?, may I tell you about our rescuer of this suffering?, A ruthless being, yet merciful, worthless, yet useful, Greedy, yet generous, that's what I know, and what thou, shalt know."

"Do not ever look back, my friend, Darkness always stays in the back of men."

...

You leave him be, you see another beast, standing and looking at you, you approach him.

"Ah, this world died from a singular word, but an action must revive it, by our rescuer."

You move away and see another beast, he says:

"Have you ever heard of Demons, Traveler?, a Demon represent the feelings of humanity, regret, misery, and despair."

"There are two crossbreads of Demons, here, in the Frozen peak, Who feed on these feelings, Misery, and Despair, beware Traveler."

Another Beast approachs you, saying:

"Have you ever heard of the Eternal Children of Hope, Traveler?, Felinus, and Felicia?, the Children of King Flavius, that sacrificed themselves to their Father's Sake?, such a shame, I cannot stand it."

You move across the houses, seeing passive Beasts, and a lot of things, normal houses, living, like normal.

A Beast approachs you, saying:

"Heard about the Geishas, Traveler?, they are the old servants of the King of Blood from a far land, now seeking another King to serve, beware of them, they are selfish and vile, and will do everything to their ownself."

You continue walking.

One of the Beasts approaches you, giving you a book.

"Traveler, take it, thou need it more than I do."

The book title is "The knowledge of the Scholar, Aurelius."

...Isn't that the name of the Abhorrent Beast?

You open it, trying to read it.

"No Great mind exist without a touch of Madness!, and thou shalt Acknowledge my Madness!, my search of Immortality, by Grafting men into my own Flesh!, animals and dead bodies, to develop immortality, to stand the Knights of Flavius!"

You throw the Book away, all the Beast saw you, and they all look at you.

"Curses upon you!, you rotten flesh!, you shall die!"

They all start screaming, they seem that they want to attack you now, you don't know what to do..

You run from them, they are so fast, running like a hungry beast.

Beasts in all the Village rushes at you, their number are numerous, are they brainwashed?, did Aurelius effect them in any way?, or they just blindly follow him as a scholar?

You trumble across a rock and fall.

They all surround you now, you don't know what to do...

Suddenly, you see... someone familiar, rushing at you, holding their blade, their moving translate what they will do next..

They pierce their through one of the beasts, you see their blade, sucking the blood of the Beast, all the Beasts look at this, how intimidating...

Their blade is glowing from blood, the Beasts are horrified, that most of them ran away, you can see who's holding the blade now...

It's.. Chiyo??, how can she be here now?, her blade is glowing and sparkling from blood of the Beasts, she slashes through the remaining beasts, just like butter.

There's no blood at the ground at all, only corpses, how can she have such power of blood?

She notices you, she wipes the blood away.

"Hm, thou art started trouble in the Cavum Village?"

She giggles.

"Worry not, Chosen one, no trouble can bother thee now, with the power of the Lord of blood, thou should be safe in my hands."

You tilt your head, you stand up and face her, asking about such power.

She chuckles.

"Oh, I'm inhuman, a servant of the lord of blood, from the Ashikaga clan, I'm the weakest of my sisters, too."

The Weakest of her sisters?, you are really looking forward to meet the others...

She laughs.

"Us the Geisha were looking for a Lord to serve, There were no other Lord as perfect as Agni, the Lord of Chaos himself."

She leans closer to you.

"But now, Agni is no more, and I am looking for a new lord to serve~"

"I havt heard about a one, a Chosen one, to be the new Lord of the Frozenpeak~"

"I'll wait for them, to be their lucky servant~"

She gets back to her normal position.

"Now now, I must be going.."

"Be safe, Chosen one."

She disappears, leaving red smoke, just.. what is happening here??

Chapter 4.2: The Cavum scholars.

You keep going inside this village, you see a sign, it looks like this small village ends here.

You go past the sign, and you see another small village, the Beasts are much more different, and looks more than normal humans...Talking, buying, selling, working..

This... cannot be happening, how can those Beasts do that?, why the Beast hunters exist if there's a lot of passive Beasts?

You walk across, all the Beasts are looking at you, waving, welcoming you to their town.

One of the Beasts approachs you.

"Ah, thou must be a Traveler, and a man of curiosity."

"This village is the Hamlet of Scholars, I can be thy guide in this Village."

"Come with me."

You nod, and decided to walk with this small Beast, there's something weird in this place, and you need a guide to understand.

"Hither, is the place of knowledge, of Scholars, with it, our minds were open, despite how we look." says the Beast, while walking.

"I'll tell thee about the world around us, just to fill your curiosity."

"Once, we were humans, just like thee, Cavums from an ancient land."

"But, King Flavius turned us into Beasts, using a disease named Ira."

"That's what the Scholars said, but by knowledge, we ruled our minds, and fought the disease."

...You remember Scriptor telling you the whole story of Ira, what the Beast said clearly shatters the whole story.

"Hm?,thou seem uninterested, I guess that is what travelers are these days, not interested in truth."

You tell him that's you are interested.

"Oh, in that case, I shall tell thee about the knowledge the Scholars put upon us."

"Have thou ever wondered about the Lacuses regis?, and about it immortality?, the Beasts there, turn into ashes, immortal ashes, to be born again, as beasts again."

Hm, he seems a man of knowledge, but you don't seem to like his knowledge at all, you tell him to keep walking.

"Before we go, I must tell thee about the Land, this Frozen Land, the Frozenpeak of Giants."

"And Lord Boreas the Giant himself, a pridful warrior, that lost his companion in a battle against the Dragons, turning him into Boreas the mad Giant."

"He was slain by the Lord of Chaos, the cursed, Agni."

You go off him before he finish talking.

You see a blacksmith there, you decided it's a good idea to go to him.

You get to him, he looks at you, saying with a dirty tone:

"Ah, A traveler are thee?, well, what do thee want in this horrible moment?"

"I sell some weapons, and I can help thy weapons to refresh!"

"...That's what a blacksmith is for, isn't it?"

You tell him about your saber, you hand it to him, he takes it, with a curious eye.

"Ah, a fine sword for a hunter, and a weapon made from the scales of Attor himself, to force the Dragons inside the Abyss, they used those fine sabers."

"Very good indeed."

"I can give thee a weapon if thou gave me this saber, a rapier of the beast hunters."

You agree.

"Ah, a nice deal, I'm happy to deal with thee, Traveler."

He gives you the rapier, you give him the saber.

"Hm, why seeking the Cavum Village, Traveler?, this place is dangerous, and pretty damn boring, I should havt left long ago, I have better places to be."

You ask him about his reasons.

"All of those lunatic bastards won't stop bothering me by their knowledge they got from the Scholars!, I'm just a blacksmith, I don't care about your damn legacy!"

"...Sorry for rising my voice, but I'm just a guy with a hammer, harming metal everyday."

You nod, he continues his work.

Chapter 4.3: The knowledge of Cavums.

You progress through this godforsaken village, you notice the Tour guide beast, following you, you ignore him for good.

You see a merchant Beast, you approach him, he talks with a very active tone.

"Oh, welcome, Traveler, what are thou doing here in this godforsaken Hamlet?"

"Tis no matter, I sell everything that can help your journey, through this hamlet."

You look at all the things in his shop, you don't seem to know what to choose.

He looks at you, be says:

"I-I can help thee with choosing, Here, take this whistle, it can help thee to district animals."

You don't know how to use it, but anyway, you buy it.

"Thank thee, Twas a great trade with thee!"

"Why art thou here, Traveler?, of all places?, thou should leave immediately now, this place is surrounded by lunatic Beast with nothing to do but just annoying thee."

He laughs, He shares quite the similarity with the Blacksmith, they both hate this Village, but why?, they must have their reasons, you walk away.

The Merchant calls you.

"Wait, Traveler, there is something I want to give thee, take this book, Tis free."

You take it, it's free, after all, but it's written with a weird language, you walk off.

A Beast Calls you from afar.

"Wait, Traveler!"

You approach the beast that's calling, he claims to be a storyteller, you tilt your head.

"Traveler, Welcome to this Village, I'm a storyteller of ancient, although most of the Beast claims that I'm mad or lunatic, But all of my stories are true!"

You give him the book you have obtained earlier, he takes it from you, he talks in s surprised tone:

"Oh, a book for me?, thou have a heart of gold, Traveler!"

He opens it, trying to read.

"The book is about the Lakes and their Own Knowledge, mind thee, the knowledge of the Draconic beasts of the Lakes were stolen by the Cavum Scholars."

"Hmm, it talks about the Legacy of hunters in the Lakes, who used to hunt for food."

"That is the origin of the Hunters, who now hunt Beasts like us."

"Now now, Traveler, I have to read the whole book, I will bid thee about every detail, be safe!, and I mean it!"

You walk off him, he might be helpful if he tried, you also notice the tour guide beast is still following you...

This village is big and boring, you need something better, like a fight or something.

Suddenly, a large amounts of Humans rush towards the village, they have a pretty fancy garb..

They are the Beast hunters, the Beasts are trying to fight with all their might, unleashing the beasts in them, you really don't think that you should be in this mess...

The numbers of the Beast hunters are far more than the Beasts, yet the bloodshed are numerous, it's enough to fill a whole lake..

...After they finish killing most of the Beasts, one of the Beast hunters approaches you, he's Aemilius.

"Ah, thou havt made it this far?, how bold."

"Do not worry about those Beast, us the hunters will take care of them, it's just sinners judging sinners, for sinning differently, Right, Cavum?"

He laughs a little, you tilt your head.

"...If thou don't mind, I have to ask thee a question."

"Have you seen a lady named 'Aelia'?, she is my lost nephew, I'm looking for her for so long now."

"A young lady, a Beast Hunter, just like us."

"I want thee to help me find her, she was the only thing left for me, in my miserable life..."

You gaze into him, you clearly didn't see her.

"Hm, I will take this as an agreement, if thou heard anything about her, I will be at every place thou would not expect."

He chuckles, you really don't know what he is on right now.

"Oh, forgot to mention, at the end of this road, is the place of the ruffianly Scholar, stay safe out there, and fear Ira."

Chapter 4.4:Aurelius The Rancid.

You walk off him, following the road into a large house, alone in this forsaken village, the roads were empty, with deserted Houses, ruined and obsolete.

Finally, you come across a large house, with bodies surrounding it, this is the place, you walk through the bodies of Humans, Beasts, and Animals, to get to the front door.

Suddenly, a body pulls your leg, saying:

"Turn... back...please... a loathed... Beast..."

You ignore him and open the door.

You see... a lot of bodies, a mountain of them, from different animals and humans, and also Beasts, taking the shape of a ball of rotten bodies, with large and tall hands, a hideous Beast, what humanity has got into..?

It's holding a body of a woman, looking at it, you don't see anything, so you decide to walk to it...

You hear it miserable voice, talking, to the Body:

"carissime Cecilia...Ignosce mihi."

It hears your footsteps, he leaves the body he is holding, and slowly turns at you, you can see only rotten bodies of different from of living...

It moves a body that covered his face to the side, now showing it's face, he tries to say something..

"Ignorantes homines...stolidus."

"Animadvertere..scientiam meam?"

"Non diu..Peribis de memoria hominum.."

It stands up with its little, small grafted legs, a weird substance falling from it, the bodies are rotten and dreadful, it launches at you, how can he jump with it's large size?

You quickly jump to the side, he follows you to punch you, you get back, just.. how can you hit it?

You don't see any opportunities to attack at all, you examine it for a moment, nothing you can use to your advantage...

It punches you again, you get to the side and stab his arm, nothing happens...

It slams it's fist at the ground, you use his fist to climb up him and stab the bodies above, trying to slash through them, it screams loudly, you jump off.

It launches at you again, while screaming loudly.

"Peribis!", the Beast says with a intimidating tone, Aurelius is not a human anymore...

You get back, it falls at its face, you get closer to stab it's head, but it suddenly grabs you with both arms.

It stands up, looking at you from Aurelius face, it slams you to the ground multiple times, saying "Peribis!" every time it slams you to the ground.

It throws you away, saying "Peribis de memoria hominum!".

You fall at the ground, you feel weak, there's nothing you can do to this Beast, nor Aurelius inside, there's no way at all...

You can't even stand up, you lay at the ground, the Beast ignores you and moves to the body it was carrying.

"Carissime Cecilia.."

It carries the body again, it talks to it.

"Id quod feci retexi non potest.. Me paenitet, Quaeso, mihi ignosce.."

He screams, while looking above, a Large, mountain of bodies grafted into each other into a single body, is now screaming in agony?

It looks back to the body, it tone is now sad.

"non durabit... memoria nostri."

"memoria nostri excidet."

It slowly puts the body at the ground again, and turns at you, it walk towards you, you can't stand up at all.

It approaches you slowly, you can feel it, you can smell it, the rancid.

It tries to smash you with it's fist, you roll away using the last bit of power on you, you stand up slowly, there's no way you can even get close to this formidable Tower of bodies.

You see the whistle you bought is on the ground, it fell from you, you grab it and decided to use it, maybe it works.

You use it, the sound was loud, and the Beast is irritated, it freezes in place, screaming, like an animal.

You run towards him and pierce your rapier towards the bodies, the stab was executed perfectly.

The Beast is still screaming, you pull the rapier and pierce through Aurelius face, it pierced through his Forehead, his face goes pale immediately.

"C-Cecilia, Ignosce...mihi."

...The whole body falls down, you gaze into it, you see rotten animals, Beast, and Humans, all into one Scholar, looking for immortality, but...why?, why would someone lose their humanity for immortality?

You leave it be, and go to the body the Beast was carrying, it's for a woman, it looks in a fine shape, her face is pale, cold, and emotionaless, like she died long ago...

You see a letter in the ground near the body, you pick it up.

"Aurelius, I am sorry, I will leave you soon, I can't feel anything anymore, but pain, I am sorry, I will not be immortal like you wish, but I will live through you, my soul will be with you, until the end of time, I will not follow your path to immortality, the things that are immortal are the things we do to others, now goodbye, Aurelius..."

"Your wife, Cecilia..."

...The paper is old, and obsolete, she must have died long ago.

Chapter 4.5: Scholar Aurelius and The poor Groapator.

You see that someone opens the door, you turn at the door, it's Aemilius.

"But, after the nights have passed, an Idea was brought upon Aurelius, to have immortality for them both to live forever, happily, with no sickness, and no concern."

"Cecilia rejected this idea, she saith that no one can ever live forever, the only thing that will live is their memories, and their knowledge together, Aurelius saith no, and starteth his research.

"There were no way to get Immortality by humans, only by a curse of the Immortal soul, and by a Dragon soul, Aurelius research failed."

"But, after some cold nights, Aurelius thought that injecting more bodies in oneself shall grant him a long live, he starteh grafting bodies in himself, until he became a Beast, inhuman, Cecilia rejected this idea, but Aurelius did not follow, she died of sickness, while the Beast was grafting more and more."

"He discoverd her souless body, pale and cold, like that same night, he took her cold body, and stayed with her ever since, with regret in his eyes, truly, the only thing that liveth is knowledge and memories."

"And the Werewolf, is the Gravedigger that buried Lector, he faceth the curse, and the Disease, by himself, just to bury the body, protecting it at all costs, he did make sure that no one will ever take the body from him, he knew about how people were obsessed with immortality, and only a body of a dragon shall grant immortality, he face that all, knowing damn well he will die, or transformed into an Abhorrent Beast, but he wanteth to protect, and bury the body, that is his purpose, the reason he liveth for, to bury the bodies of the dead."

"That is what all I know about him, no one truly know anything about this bold soul."

"Thou got thy reward, move along now, I have something to do with this hideous beast."

You exit the house in peace, what he will do..?
