I haven't got your name yet... what was it? Jerrica?" he says as he stands up from his seat and grabs a mug filled with water and throws it straight at Jessica's face

Jessica's senses slowly come back as the ice-cold water pours all over her, she gasps for air as she slowly comprehends what's going on, she looks around the room breathing heavily, She sees she is tied to a chair, her clothes are ripped from several places and there is blood and wounds all over her as she looks at herself in shock she notices a unbearable pain in her Ring finger, it feels like her fingers been chopped off and the rest the hand is on fire, she quickly looks over at her left hand as to her surprise there was nothing like what she imagined, her hand was perfectly fine tied to the chair arm, the only thing different was unlike rest of her body parts, the left arm was tied with chains rather than ropes, but her eyes widen as she notices her ring finger, a weird shaped Silver ring with a Black coloured round gem like stone, there was steam coming out of the parts near the ring and on a closer look... the skin was looking like it was attached to the ring

The man says with a straight face as he goes around her to sit back on the chair he was sitting earlier, "and what's the reason... it hurts so much... I am going to die!" Jessica says, nearly about to cry due to the pain "you won't, don't worry about it" The man says as he takes a sip of his tea "where am I... who are you... what is happening"

The man sighs as he finishes his tea as he stands up and opens a drawer in the table and takes out a cigar from it he, he then takes out a vintage styled lighter, it was a mix of golden and silver, there was a weird mark engraved in it, he lights the cigar as she puts it in his mouth and smokes a bit before looking at her and then up at the ceiling as he takes the cigar out of his mouth he speaks in a annoyed tone "Am I the only one you thought would be capable of babysitting? Weren't the others there?" as Jessica stays there confused at the man's words, still in pain, she looks at the ceiling to see a black coloured glass on the ceiling through it, she could see faint figures which looked like humans The girl faces the man again as she protests "Hey! You! I am talking to you! Why the fuck am I here!" the man walks over to her and grabs her face aggressively from the chin and turns her face to look her in the eye, Jessica couldn't notice some scars on his face which were not visible before due to the dark, but now she noticed a scar beneath his right eye and 1 on his neck "Listen here you brat, we are just keeping you safe here! You see that ring? Do you know what that means? You are one of the awakened now, you are a user... we can't let u run wild

The Man walks out of the room still smoking his cigar as he gestures the others inside and says "Remove her ropes, and let her come out" On his one command the "medics" quickly untie her and helps her stand up as one of them gestures her to go out she looks around as she still is confused on what's happening as she walks out the man gestures her to keep following, even now it was too dark to actually see any good detail about the man all she can see is he is dressed in a black t-shirt and trousers of the same colour, the keep walking until the hallway ends with a large black door, the man takes out some kind of card from his pocket and puts it in the rusty slot of the door, after a few minutes it opens, as a flash of bright light eat up the darkness of the hallway, Jessica is delighted to see Suzie sitting in one of the seats of the huge hall beyond the door....
