Lilith’s crimson eyes narrowed. She could feel the weight of something unnatural in the air, something pulling at their emotions. “Who the hell is this?”
Olorun crossed his arms, his grin fading as he studied the gecko. “That thing… it’s not normal.”
Johnny’s ability was in full effect now. Guilt Materialization. Tony, though, couldn’t tear his eyes away from his brother. He took a step forward, ignoring the others. “Where have you been? How are you even here?”
His brother smirked, but there was something cold and detached in his expression. “You left me behind, Tony. You never came back. And now… it’s time for you to pay for that.” “I know you were a piece of shit at maximum, but I didn’t think you could go higher than that,” his brother sneered, his voice dripping with venom. “First, you left me to die. Then, you take my name, and then you forgot about me. Typical… from Kai.”
Tony froze for a moment, his heart pounding in his chest. “Brother, you were going to get me killed,” he snapped, spinning to face him, the frustration clear in his voice. “I had no choice but to leave you!”
“No choice?!” His brother’s eyes were wild, years of resentment burning through his gaze. “You left me to rot, Kai! You were always selfish, but I didn’t realize how far you’d go. And now look at you. Running again.”
Before Tony could respond, a spear whizzed past his head, barely missing his skull. Sharky, who had been keeping an eye on the situation, shouted, “C’mon, man! We gotta go!”
Tony gritted his teeth, glancing one last time at his brother before turning away. The group sprinted down the corridor, dodging guards who now rushed to block their escape. Kenji scanned the area, his sharp eyes locking onto a doorway ahead.
“A safe room!” Kenji pointed and shouted, “Guys, over here!”
Without hesitation, the group ran toward the door. As they reached it, Kenji called out, “Lilith, open the door!”
Lilith’s crimson eyes flashed with determination as she activated her aura. With a powerful slam of her fist, she shattered the lock and kicked the door open. Kenji rushed inside first, and as soon as he entered, his eyes fell on two beautifully crafted swords lying on a nearby table.
“Kokuryū no Kogane (Black Dragon of Gold) and Shinmetsu no Ha (Blade of Divine Annihilation),” he whispered in awe, picking them up as if reuniting with old friends. He kissed the blades, a grin spreading across his face. “Oh, I missed you two.”
Meanwhile, Olorun was rummaging through his bag, muttering under his breath. “Damn it, they took the food… and your broken sword, Kenji.”
Kenji barely glanced back. “I don’t give a damn about that sword. I’ve got these now.”
Tony, catching his breath, spotted a worn-out map on a nearby shelf. “World 1 map,” he murmured, grabbing it. As he did, his eyes darted to the doorway where shadows began to gather.
They all turned as the guards arrived, forming a wall that blocked the only way back. Leading the group was none other than Johnny Good-day, perched casually on the shoulder of Tauronos, the prison warden—a massive bull with dark, unblinking eyes.
Johnny’s reptilian smirk widened as he surveyed the group. “You’ve made it this far, but this is where your luck runs out.” His voice was playful, but there was an underlying malice in it. “No animal has ever escaped our prison.”
Tauronos stepped forward, his hooves hitting the ground with a thunderous weight. “Surrender now,” he bellowed. “Give up, and I promise you’ll suffer less.”
Kenji, always one to love a good fight, smirked and stepped forward, his twin swords gleaming in his hands. “Finally,” he said, rolling his shoulders as he prepared to face them. “I can test out my new technique.”
He crossed the two swords over his chest, the dark and golden energies crackling along the blades like lightning. “Dragon’s Eclipse Slash,” he announced, his voice filled with confidence.
Energy surged through the room as Kenji charged the attack, his swords glowing with an intense light. The golden and dark energies merged together, forming a massive crescent-shaped wave. In a powerful burst, he slashed outward, the energy arcing across the room in a wide, sweeping motion.
The wave cut through the guards, sending them flying into the walls, their armor shattering from the impact. The energy sliced through the stone pillars, leaving a glowing trail of destruction in its wake.
But Tauronos stood firm, his eyes narrowing as the wave approached him. With a low grunt, he thrust his hand forward, summoning a shimmering Kinetic Shield. The telekinetic barrier absorbed the attack, though it flickered under the force of Kenji’s energy.
Tauronos’ lips curled into a sneer as the shield held, though barely. “Nice try,” he growled, his voice low and menacing.
Johnny Good-day clapped from his perch on Tauronos’ shoulder. “Impressive,” he said, his tone mocking. “But not enough.”
Kenji’s brow furrowed, and he clenched his swords tighter, knowing that the cooldown from such a powerful move left him vulnerable. Before he could react, Johnny leaned down and whispered to Tauronos, “Don’t kill Tony. I want to handle him myself.”
Tauronos snorted, his large nostrils flaring. “Fine,” he grumbled. “Just stay out of my way.”
Tony, his fists still clenched, glanced at his brother, who remained on the outskirts of the battle, watching with cold eyes. Guilt and rage twisted in Tony’s stomach as his brother’s words echoed in his mind.
“You left me to die,” his brother had said. And it stung more than Tony cared to admit.
But there was no time for that now. As Tauronos prepared to charge again, Kenji took a step forward, his swords raised once more, despite the exhaustion creeping into his muscles.
“Get ready,” Kenji called to the others. “This isn’t over yet.”
The air crackled with tension as they braced themselves for the next round of battle. Johnny’s grin grew wider, his tail flicking in anticipation. The warden’s hulking form loomed over them, his horns gleaming in the dim light. Kenji stood amidst the carnage of fallen gorilla guards, his chest rising and falling as he took in the sight of the bodies scattered around him. Only a handful of them were left, their eyes wide with fear, hesitant to approach. Kenji couldn’t help but grin. His swords gleamed in the dim light, reflecting the blood and chaos that surrounded him. His eyes, however, were locked on the massive figure ahead.
“Hey, bull,” Kenji called out, his voice dripping with arrogance, “Why don’t you stop being a pussy and fight me like a man?”
Tauronos, towering and silent, snorted through his nostrils as he slowly lowered his telekinetic barrier. His large, muscular arms flexed as he glared at Kenji, the smirk falling from his face. The air between them grew thick with tension, almost tangible, as if even the walls of the prison could feel the imminent clash.
“Hmph,” Tauronos grunted, rolling his massive shoulders. “You think you're ready for that?” He spread his arms wide, summoning his power. “How about I try one of my favorite abilities then?”
Kenji’s eyes narrowed as Tauronos concentrated, his voice low and menacing. “Telekinesis, Level 4.” The ground trembled as Tauronos lifted the broken pieces of the fallen spears and jagged rocks scattered across the floor. They hovered in the air, crackling with energy. He strained slightly, pushing his abilities to the limit, but his determination was palpable.
With a flick of his hand, Tauronos combined the shards into multiple makeshift spears, their sharp edges gleaming in the dim light. “Let’s see how you handle this.” He clenched his fist, adding a surge of telekinetic energy to the spears, increasing their speed and force.
Johnny Good-day, watching from the shadows, gave a low whistle. “Well, this should be fun to watch,” he said, his voice full of amusement. Then, in an instant, he shimmered and vanished from sight. “I’ll be outside,” his voice echoed as he turned invisible, leaving Kenji and Tauronos alone to settle their fight.
Kenji rolled his neck, cracking it audibly, his grip tightening on his swords. “You guys go on ahead,” he called over his shoulder.
Eleo, clearly torn, started to protest, “But—”
Olorun, however, placed a firm hand on Eleo’s shoulder, shaking his head. “Come on, Eleo. Trust him. He knows what he’s doing.”
With one last look back at Kenji, Eleo nodded reluctantly, and the group bolted toward the exit. As they disappeared down the corridor, the sounds of their footsteps faded, leaving only the eerie silence of the standoff between the bull and the swordsman.
Kenji’s gaze returned to Tauronos, his smirk growing. “Looks like it’s just you and me now. Finally. No distractions.”
Tauronos bared his teeth, his muscles tensing as the telekinetically controlled spears shot forward, hissing through the air with terrifying speed. The force behind them was immense—more than enough to impale a dozen men.
But Kenji was ready.
With a sudden burst of movement, Kenji crossed his twin swords in front of him, the golden and black energies sparking to life. “Claws of the Twin Dragon,” he growled, his body surging with energy as he performed a swift, deadly slash with both blades.
Twin arcs of energy, one golden and one black, shot out from his swords, spiraling through the air like the talons of a dragon. The arcs twisted and spun, cutting through the incoming spears with terrifying precision. The golden arc severed the telekinetic energy that powered the spears, dispersing them mid-air, while the black arc sliced through the debris, sending it scattering to the ground.
Tauronos grunted in surprise as Kenji’s attack broke through his telekinetic assault, but he wasn’t done yet. The bull, anger flashing in his eyes, slammed his hooves into the ground, cracking the stone beneath him as he prepared to charge.
Kenji didn’t back down. He stood tall, his swords still crossed in front of him, energy crackling along the blades. “What’s the matter, Tauronos? That all you got?”
Tauronos snorted, his nostrils flaring as he glared at Kenji. “You’ll regret underestimating me, swordsman.”
Kenji’s smirk only grew. “I’m counting on it.”
The two clashed again, Tauronos charging forward like an unstoppable force, while Kenji moved with the fluidity of a seasoned warrior. Kenji's swords flashed, the twin arcs of energy cutting through the air with each swing. Tauronos responded with raw power, ripping chunks of the ground and hurling them at Kenji with telekinetic force. But each time, Kenji countered with precision, his attacks relentless and focused.

As they fought, Kenji felt the strain of maintaining his technique. The coordination required for the Claws of the Twin Dragon was immense, and one misstep could leave him open to Tauronos’ devastating strength. But he wasn’t about to back down.
Sweat dripped down his brow as he unleashed another wave of energy, the twin arcs slashing through the air and forcing Tauronos to dodge. The bull’s movements were slower now, his breathing labored. The use of his telekinetic powers was draining his stamina, just as Kenji had anticipated.
Tauronos, realizing he couldn’t outlast Kenji in this battle of endurance, roared in frustration and charged again, his horns lowered, his intent clear: to end this with brute force.
Kenji planted his feet firmly, his eyes narrowing as Tauronos barreled toward him. The air between them crackled with tension.
In the split second before impact, Kenji crossed his swords once more, the golden and black energies flaring to life again. “This ends now,” he muttered, pouring every ounce of strength he had left into his final strike.
As Tauronos closed the distance, Kenji swung his blades in a wide arc, releasing a final, massive burst of energy—the arcs of the Twin Dragon roaring to life as they tore through the air, colliding with Tauronos head-on.
The force of the collision sent shockwaves through the prison, shaking the very foundations of the walls. Tauronos let out a bellow of pain as the energy ripped through him, tearing at both his physical form and the telekinetic energy that surrounded him.
Kenji, panting and exhausted, stood tall as the dust settled, his swords still glowing faintly with the remnants of his energy. Tauronos, bloodied and battered, collapsed to one knee, his eyes still burning with defiance.
But it was clear who had won.
Kenji, his breath coming in ragged gasps, pointed one of his swords at Tauronos. “Not bad,” he said, his voice hoarse. “But next time, don’t underestimate a swordsman.”
Tauronos, despite his injuries, let out a low, rumbling chuckle. “You’re... strong,” he admitted, his voice strained. “But... this isn’t over.”
Kenji didn’t respond. Instead, he turned and sheathed his swords, his body weary but his spirit still burning with determination. He knew this fight was just the beginning.
As he walked toward the exit, where his friends were waiting, he couldn’t help but glance back at Tauronos one last time. The bull was still alive barely,Kenji wiped the sweat from his brow, watching Tauronos as the massive bull struggled to rise from the ground, his fur matted with dirt and blood. The underground prison was in shambles, cracks snaking across the dirt walls where the two had clashed. He could hear the distant rumbling of the prison settling, but it was Tauronos’ ragged breathing that caught his attention. He was still standing.
Kenji’s heart hammered in his chest, every breath he took rattling in his lungs. His swords Kokuryū no Kogane and Blade of Divine Annihilation vibrated with residual energy, the aftermath of their last exchange still lingering in the air like a storm waiting to break. How is he still standing?
Tauronos’ eyes, glowing with an eerie telekinetic light, locked onto Kenji. The bull’s body trembled violently, muscles tensing with raw power. “It’s not over until I’m dead,” Tauronos spat, blood dripping from his mouth. His voice echoed with a primal fury, reverberating off the cracked walls and the open sky above them, where the moon cast its cold light on the battlefield. Kenji narrowed his eyes.
Before he could react, Tauronos’ body jerked unnaturally, the air around him warping as his telekinetic force wrapped around his muscles. “Telekinetic Augmentation,” Tauronos growled, and in that instant, his movements became a blur. The ground cracked under his feet, dust rising as Tauronos exploded forward.
Kenji’s instincts screamed at him to move, but Tauronos was already on him. The bull’s massive hand clamped around Kenji’s face with crushing force, his strength amplified to superhuman levels by the telekinetic force swirling around him. Kenji gasped, the pressure on his skull unbearable, his vision narrowing as Tauronos lifted him into the air. The world became a blur as they shot upward, breaking through the weakened prison walls in a cascade of dust and debris.
The wind howled around them as they shot into the night sky, the ground rapidly shrinking beneath them. Kenji squirmed in Tauronos’ grasp, the air rushing past them cold and sharp, the taste of iron in his mouth from biting his lip too hard. Damn it... he's going to kill me!
With a grunt of effort, Kenji twisted his body, bringing his knee up into Tauronos’ chest. The impact made Tauronos snarl in pain, and Kenji used the momentary opening to pry himself free, flipping in mid-air. His body felt weightless for a moment, hanging in the air as if time itself had slowed, before he planted both feet on Tauronos’ broad chest and kicked off with all his strength.
Tauronos hurtled into the sky, his body spinning wildly, while Kenji flipped and angled himself downward, falling back toward the earth. The sky was dark, dominated by the full moon that seemed to watch over their battle with cold indifference. The air was thinner this high, and Kenji’s lungs burned, but he focused on the ground below. He could feel the weight of his swords pulling him down, the energy within them flickering faintly. He needed to land, regroup.
But Tauronos wasn’t done.
As Kenji fell, Tauronos’ laughter echoed across the sky, and Kenji’s heart sank. The air around him began to churn, the wind picking up in unnatural gusts. He could feel it—a shift in the atmosphere, the pressure changing as Tauronos prepared his next move. Kenji’s eyes widened in horror.
“Telekinetic Tornado!” Tauronos roared from above, his telekinetic power bending the air itself to his will. The wind screamed in response, swirling around Tauronos in a chaotic vortex. The sheer force of it was terrifying—the sky twisted and churned as a massive tornado formed, centering on Tauronos’ body. The tornado expanded rapidly, tearing at the air, dragging in everything around it with relentless force.
Kenji hit the ground hard, his knees buckling under the impact. Dust and debris whipped past him as the tornado began to suck everything into its maw—dirt, rocks, pieces of the shattered prison. The roar of the wind drowned out everything else, and Kenji could barely keep his footing, his body straining against the pull of the vortex. The world tilted, and Kenji felt the earth shift beneath him as if the tornado was tearing apart the very ground.
The wind tugged at his clothes, his hair whipping wildly in the chaos. Damn it…! Kenji gritted his teeth, his swords vibrating in his grip as he planted them into the earth, trying to anchor himself. The strain on his muscles was immense, every gust threatening to lift him off his feet and pull him into the deadly whirlwind.
Tauronos was at the center of the storm, laughing maniacally. “You’ll never survive this, Kenji! I’ll tear you apart!”
Kenji’s chest heaved as he fought for air. He had to think fast. The pull of the tornado was relentless, and he could feel his feet slipping despite his best efforts. “You’re really gonna pull something like this?” he muttered through clenched teeth. His body burned with exhaustion, every muscle screaming in protest. He didn’t have much time—Tauronos’ tornado would only grow more destructive.
He tightened his grip on his swords. He couldn’t let Tauronos win, not here. Not like this.
Kenji’s mind raced, calculating the only option left to him. If he couldn’t fight against the wind, then maybe he could use it. He felt the pull of the vortex again, the winds dragging him toward the center. If he could time this right...
With a deep breath, Kenji launched himself forward, letting the wind lift him off the ground. The force sent him spiraling toward Tauronos, but Kenji twisted his body midair, positioning himself like an arrow aimed at the heart of the tornado. His swords crossed over his chest, glowing with intense black and golden energy, the spirits of the Twin Dragons roaring to life within them.
“Dragon’s Cleave: Sovereign Blade of the Twin Dragons!” Kenji shouted, his voice swallowed by the storm. The power within the swords surged, rippling through the air as the image of a colossal black dragon appeared behind Kenji, its roar shaking the sky.
Tauronos’ eyes widened in surprise as Kenji hurtled toward him, his body engulfed in the black and golden aura of the dragons. Too late.
With a powerful swing, Kenji brought both swords down in unison, unleashing a massive vertical arc of energy. The black and golden wave cleaved through the tornado, splitting the winds in half. The swirling air screamed in protest, but the energy wave cut through it effortlessly, dispelling the storm in an instant.
Kenji landed hard, his knees buckling as he skidded across the ground, the torn earth beneath him groaning as it settled. He looked up, panting heavily, watching as the remnants of the tornado dissipated into the night.
Tauronos was falling, his body limp, his eyes wide in disbelief. Kenji’s attack had hit its mark.
But Kenji wasn’t celebrating yet. His legs shook beneath him, exhaustion weighing him down. He’d done it, but barely.
The night was silent, the air still, as the moon watched over them both. The night air crackled with tension, the faint smell of burning ozone mixing with the earthy scent of torn soil. Kenji, panting and sweat-drenched, tightened his grip on Kokuryū no Kogane and Blade of Divine Annihilation" their blades humming with restrained power. Tauronos, hovering amidst his telekinetic tornado, was a black silhouette against the churning sky, his bull-like form glowing faintly with psychokinetic energy.
Kenji's heart thudded against his ribs. The sharp, cutting winds of the tornado clawed at him, threatening to rip him from the earth. Every sound was a howl—the screech of torn trees, the groan of bending metal, the fierce whistle of air rushing past his ears. Dust and debris stung his eyes, but Kenji didn’t blink. His entire focus was locked on Tauronos, whose glowing red eyes were wild with rage.
"I’ll turn this whole battlefield into a grave," Tauronos roared, his voice vibrating through the air like a physical force. The pressure of his Psychokinesis intensified, and Kenji felt his body pulling toward the vortex as if it would crush him any second.
Clank! Clank! Kenji’s swords rattled under the strain as he drove them deeper into the ground to anchor himself. His muscles screamed in protest, but he didn’t falter. "I’ve got one shot at this," he muttered, his breath labored. The wind howled, whipping around him, and the air tasted like iron and blood.
Kenji had fought beasts, men, and monsters before, but Tauronos was something else entirely. His Telekinetic Augmentation made his every movement a blur of speed and strength, and Kenji knew that any misstep could mean instant death. Tauronos was turning his psychokinetic powers on nature itself, warping the environment into a weapon.
Screech!
Suddenly, a massive boulder, dislodged by the tornado, came hurtling toward Kenji. He barely had time to react, flipping his body backward and narrowly dodging the crushing stone as it shattered against the ground with a deafening crash. Thud! The impact sent a shockwave of dust and debris exploding outward.
Kenji coughed, feeling the grit in his throat. "You want to rip the world apart?" he shouted over the cacophony, his voice hoarse. "Fine. Let’s see who tears first!"
With a sharp breath, Kenji activated his Dragon’s Cleave. Energy surged through him, golden and black auras swirling like twin dragons coiled around his swords. The air around him warped, bending under the sheer force of the power he summoned. His muscles tightened, his heart pounded, and for a moment, the sounds of the world seemed to fade into a single, piercing hum.
But the tornado’s pull was relentless. Kenji could feel it dragging him closer, the force almost unbearable. He needed to move, now.
With a powerful leap, Kenji launched himself toward the eye of the storm. The winds screamed as they tried to toss him aside, but he let the pull guide him instead. His swords crossed in front of him, energy crackling like lightning as he shot forward.Tauronos’ psychokinetic tornado was a maelstrom of chaos, a destructive force that tore apart everything in its path. As Kenji soared closer, Tauronos’ eyes narrowed, and with a snarl, he unleashed a barrage of telekinetically hurled debris—boulders, metal shards, uprooted trees—hurtling toward Kenji with blinding speed.
Crack! A tree trunk nearly impaled Kenji midair, but he spun sideways, his swords deflecting the next attack with a brilliant arc of black and gold energy. Each movement was instinctual, refined by years of battle. Clang! Clang! His blades met flying stones, cutting through them like they were made of glass, each impact vibrating through his arms.
Kenji’s breathing grew heavier. His muscles burned from exertion. But he couldn’t stop—he wouldn’t stop. He was closing in on Tauronos, his twin swords glowing brighter as the energy around them crescendoed.
Tauronos’ voice cut through the storm. “You can’t reach me, Kenji! The sky itself bends to my will!”
With a savage grin, Tauronos raised both arms and unleashed a concentrated blast of Psychokinetic Force, aiming directly at Kenji. The attack hit with the weight of a mountain, an invisible, crushing pressure that slammed into Kenji’s chest.
“Argh!” Kenji’s vision blurred as he was hurled backward, crashing into the earth below with bone-rattling force. The ground buckled beneath him, the impact sending shockwaves rippling across the battlefield. Pain lanced through his body, but he forced himself to stand, gritting his teeth against the searing ache.
The sky above him twisted as Tauronos descended, his bull-like form crackling with telekinetic power. The sheer weight of his presence distorted the air around him.
“I’ve broken stronger warriors than you,” Tauronos growled, his breath coming in heavy snorts. “Give up.”
Kenji wiped the blood from his lip and stood tall, his swords raised. His body was battered, his energy draining fast, but his resolve was unshakable.
Tauronos charged again, the ground shaking with each telekinetically enhanced step. But this time, Kenji was ready. As Tauronos swung his massive fist, Kenji ducked under the blow, slicing upward with Blade of Divine Annihilation". The blade hummed as it cut through the air, carving a deep gash across Tauronos’ chest.
Blood sprayed into the air, a sharp, metallic smell that mingled with the scent of sweat and dirt. Tauronos bellowed in pain, stumbling back, but Kenji didn’t let up. He pressed the attack, his swords a blur of black and gold, each strike more precise than the last.
Tauronos, now bleeding heavily, roared and lashed out with his Telekinetic Force, sending Kenji skidding across the dirt. The impact rattled his bones, but Kenji planted his feet, refusing to be thrown off balance.Tauronos bellowed in rage as Kenji’s relentless assault began to overwhelm him, but he wasn’t done yet. Blood dripped from the gash across his chest, yet his eyes gleamed with fury. With a powerful stomp, Tauronos released a Shockwave Stomp, sending a telekinetic wave crashing towards Kenji.
Kenji backflipped to avoid the brunt of the impact, landing in a crouch as the ground exploded beneath him. Dust and debris filled the air. He could feel his energy waning, but his resolve hardened. Kokuryū no Kogane in his right hand glowed with a brilliant golden hue, and in his left, Blade of Divine Annihilation" crackled with dark energy.
“Let’s finish this,” Kenji muttered under his breath.
He raised both swords and charged toward Tauronos, whose own eyes flashed with telekinetic power. The bull-like warrior roared and hurled massive boulders telekinetically toward Kenji. The air crackled as the rocks hurtled forward, but Kenji was ready.
With a swift, precise motion, Kenji unleashed Golden Dragon’s Fang. A piercing beam of golden energy shot forth from the tip of his blade, shaped like the fang of a dragon. It sliced through the boulders with ease, shattering them mid-air and continuing its trajectory straight toward Tauronos.
Tauronos raised a telekinetic Barrier just in time, but the beam struck it with incredible force, sending cracks spiderwebbing across the psychic shield. The bull staggered back, the barrier struggling to hold against Kenji’s attack.
Kenji pressed on. His left blade surged with dark energy as he swept it forward, unleashing Black Dragon’s Roar. A wide, destructive wave of black energy roared toward Tauronos, expanding outward like the maw of a dragon. The dark energy collided with the weakening barrier, shattering it completely.
Tauronos grunted, his telekinetic powers momentarily faltering under the barrage of Kenji’s dual attacks. But the bull was far from finished. He raised both hands, gripping the air as if seizing something invisible, and suddenly, Kenji felt his body freeze.
Tauronos had him in a Telekinetic Grapple.
Kenji struggled as the invisible force crushed in on him, constricting his movements. Tauronos sneered, tightening his grip, the pressure mounting. Kenji’s bones ached, and the air seemed to thin around him.
“You’ve fought well,” Tauronos growled, “but you’re not strong enough to break free from me.”
Kenji’s vision began to blur. He could feel the weight of Tauronos’ telekinetic force crushing his chest, threatening to snap his ribs. But he wasn’t done yet. His eyes flickered with determination as he brought his swords together in an "X" formation across his chest.
“Dragon’s Wing Slash!” he shouted, and with a desperate burst of energy, Kenji unleashed the cross-shaped burst of golden and black energy. The twin slashes tore through the air, cutting through Tauronos’ telekinetic hold and blasting toward the bull with intense speed.
The impact sent Tauronos reeling, the force of the Dragon’s Wing Slash slicing across his arms and chest. He stumbled backward, the energy of the attack leaving burns across his body. Kenji dropped to the ground, gasping for air but already preparing his next move.
Tauronos’ eyes burned with rage. He slammed his fists into the ground, sending out another telekinetic Shockwave, but Kenji was too fast. He dodged to the side, then leaped into the air, spinning his swords in a deadly arc.
“Draconic Tempest!” he roared.
A vortex of black and golden energy erupted around Kenji as he spun his swords. The whirlwind lifted him off the ground, the energy tearing through the battlefield. Tauronos braced himself, throwing up another telekinetic Barrier, but the storm of energy was too much. It tore through his defenses, ripping apart the earth around him and slamming into his massive frame.
Tauronos roared in pain, but even as the tempest raged around him, he fought back. With a roar of defiance, he raised both hands and sent a Telekinetic Force Strike toward the center of the vortex. The concentrated blast of telekinetic energy slammed into Kenji, sending him crashing to the ground.
Both warriors were battered, their energies drained, but neither would yield.
Kenji slowly rose to his feet, blood trickling from his forehead. His muscles screamed in agony, but his resolve was iron. Tauronos, breathing heavily, staggered forward, his massive frame casting a long shadow over Kenji.
“I’m not… finished yet,” Tauronos growled, raising his fists.
Kenji crossed his swords over his chest once more, golden and dark energy swirling around him. “Neither am I.”
With a final surge of energy, Kenji unleashed his most powerful technique: Dragon’s Dual Strike.
He dashed forward at blinding speed, his twin swords igniting with black and golden flames. Tauronos barely had time to react as Kenji struck with a simultaneous dual slash. The impact caused a massive explosion of energy, the black and golden flames erupting across the battlefield.
The sheer force of the attack sent Tauronos crashing to the ground, the air thick with dust and smoke. When the dust settled, both warriors lay on the ground, battered and broken.
Kenji struggled to his feet, his body trembling with exhaustion. Tauronos groaned in pain, his body limp but still alive. It had been a battle to the very last fraction of a second, and though Tauronos had fought with everything he had, Kenji had won… but just barely.
