CHAPTER 1, ROSA

A little girl name Rosa went to the Church in Sunday afternoon. She called by priest to help him cleaning the church, after 15 minutes was walking from home, she arrived. She open the door and saw the priest was looks so worried. The priest sat in a chair, he was holding a broom. The priest face went to white, and he was daydreaming about something and even didn’t notice Rosa that was stood at the door, He realized Rosa after Rosa was calling him, made his face white back to normal.

“Thanks God, you are here” said priest “Rosa, take this broom. I have person to dealing with”

Rosa wanted to open her mouth but she stopped. Rosa already had a broom, she took it before went to church. The priest put his broom on chair then he ran. Many question was flying in her head “looks like father is busy, but I wonder what happened or what he are doing?” said Rosa to herself. Rosa started with brooming the floor, the floor made by ceramic and there was a draws on it but it was no looked clear because dusty cover it. The floor used to be have beautiful draws and now it was cover by dusty. Rosa was brooming the floor really good, the draws on floor looks more clearly, just one thing Rosa had to do, she took a floor cloth and wiped all the floor. The draw looks beautiful, Rosa turned on the electric fan and the floor slowly and slowly became drayed.

After 3 hours a woman came out from the priest room. Maybe the woman was reason why the priest had daydreamed before . The priest followed after the woman came out. They felt amazed seen the floor was clear very well, and the light from sun made the floor looks new. “it was worth it to spend 3 hours cleaning the floor” said Rosa to herself.

“Rosa this is beautiful, how you can managed it?” asked the priest

“I hate to see the draw was cover by dust” said Rosa “so I cleaned very detail”

“wow. Father, you are not wrong about her” Said the woman

Rosa smiled, she happy got praised. “I can image how happy my husband and I when we get married” said the woman. “I think you should tell who was cleaning this church about your special day” said Priest. She smiled and went to Rosa. She held rosa hands.

“This is perfect, I am going to marry with my men of my dreams tomorrow. You clean this church very well. I don’t know how to thanks to you. I hope you can attend our wedding tomorrow” said the woman with smile.

Rosa smiled to heard that, but the smile disappeared very fast, “I hope can attend your wedding, but I am going to help my neighbors tomorrow” said Rosa. “Sorry”

“she always got many job” said priest and went toward to the woman. He put his arm on her shoulder. “I know you want to her to attend your weeding but she is very busy, that’s why we call her little angel” said the priest.

The woman looked sad, “its ok uncle” said the woman “I have to go know thanks little angel” said the woman and went out from church. “is she your niece?” asked Rosa and looked at the priest. “Yes she is, that’s why when we saw the beautiful floor that had you cleaned, I was happy” said the priest “she’s mean to much to me” His eyes started to drop water but someone was entering the church, the priest wiped her eyes.

“please help me” said the stranger “I want to free from this torture”. The stranger looked so dirty and dusty. He looks like homeless, but he was not. The stranger brought a horrible things into the church. Rosa and priest shocked after saw what the stranger was holding. He was holding cocaine. He tried to walked towards to Priest, He almost reach the priest but sundendly he was fainted. His head crashed into the chair, it was hard concussion. people from out church might hear , and he dropped to the floor.

“Father we need to save him” said Rosa while panic

“we can’t help him, he hold a sin that I don’t want to touch it” said priest

Rosa without thinking more, he ran and touch the cocaine. “Rosa what are you doing?” said priest with shocked. Rosa ran out of church and put it in the trash can. Rosa didn’t want to touch it, but she must. Rosa felt bad to the stranger and she can’t let him to laying on floor and priest didn’t want to help him. After that, she went to the church again, but the priest told her to wash her hand before enter the church.

Rosa walked to the toilet. But a cat had gone to her, Rosa felt disgusted. The cat was so dirty and smell not good. She picked up a stone and threw to the cat. The cat was crying “meong…meong…meong” Rosa can felt how the cat was in pain but she didn’t care at all, she can’t hold the smell of cat . She picked up stone again and threw to cat. The cat ran away but Rosa still can hear the cat cried. She entered the toilet and washed her hand after was fighting the cat, She went to the church but something was interesting her. It was a plant, he went to the plant she amazed with that plan. The plant had many thorn, she was in silence looked to the most beautiful plant. Rosa remember something that made her sad. She almost cried but she held it but she can’t hold any longer, she stabbed her forefinger to thorn plant. She not felt in pain but relieved as blood came out from her forefinger. She cleaned it and went back to the church.

She heard someone was crying, she went to the sound and saw the stranger knelled to priest while he was crying. Priest had told him that god always forgive people, but still he was crying.

“how can god forgive people like me, I had done many sins” said the stranger “I am a thief who can’t fight his lust”. Rosa looked back to the plant and she got an idea, she walked toward to the man and touched his shoulder. The stranger looked up to Rosa. Rosa helped him to stand up and she and the stranger sat on the chair side by side.

“hey, you know why cactus can live in hot dessert?” said Rosa. The stranger felt confused with Rosa question. “it’s because they tried to life, they didn’t give up quickly, they tried with Modify their roots, they roots became more long and can reach water in underground. That’s why they are sill life now” said Rosa. The stranger started to understand what Rosa said. “same as you, you still can live without thinking about your sins as long you promise you wouldn’t do that again. Changes your live from now, like cactus, there always ways to lead you”. The stranger was trying to hold his tears, she smiled to Rosa. “ I promise” said the stranger.

Rosa hold his hand “said again” said rosa with smile on her face. “I promise as god as witness, I wouldn’t do it again” said the stranger, his tears came out but that time, his tears not come from sadness but happiness.

“a little angel save people again” said the priest. The stranger said thanks to Rosa and leaved the church with peaceful, he already forgiven himself. “good job Rosa” said priest “maybe someday you will take care of this church as my replacement”. Rosa was happy to hear that “ I hoped someday, I really want to be nun and that’s why I am going to religion school after high school” said Rosa. “people like you always got bless from god, you will get what you want” said the priest. The priest looked at o’clock, it was already 5 pm. “I wonder why other children didn’t come,” said the priest and looked at Rosa “are you sure already told them to attending the church today?” asked priest. “yeah maybe they forgot “ said rosa, she was panic if priest found out she didn’t tell them. “owh, that’s okay, I can’t mad to them, because this is for my nephew not for important event” said priest. Rosa felt relieved, she had took deep breath before saying good bye to the priest.

It was already evening when Rosa head back to home, the sun almost went down from west. Rosa met a homeless. He was laying on sidewalk. He was blocking the way, Rosa tried to woke up the homeless but the homeless went to angry and pushed Rosa on the ground. The accident was made rosa remember her trauma, she picked up a stone and threw to the homeless, the stone hit the head of homeless, he went to cried and tried to hold his paint. Rosa didn’t stop, she took a twig and was stabbing it into the homeless eye. He cried, but Rosa didn’t care. many blood came out from his eye as he pulled out the twig . Rosa was panic and ran away left behind the homeless. Luckly the road was quiet, and there were no people at there. After was running far away from the homeless she felt happy.

“Nobody would believe that homeless” said Rosa with psychopath laugh
