‘’I’ll write this now so I don’t forget about you. As long as I keep on writing, you will always exist.''' She takes a pen and starts writing on a blank brown sheet for the one and only whom she deems her beloved to continue existing in people’s minds after he’s passed and the end of wars and bloodshed. He simply kept moving forward; he lost many things, yet he remained resolute to end the war, and he did so. They fell in love and fought together; he gained power beyond belief contracted to several beasts and entities; and yet he merely wanted to be remembered forever.
I will always love you no matter how much time passes, my one and only beloved knight. She put down the pen and got up from her chair and looked outside with a sad yet hopeful smile, a smile that says no matter what happens, I’ll always remember you.
Ariel
------------------------
Moments prior to Ariel waking up in the carriage
A tall man with brown hair and a very muscular figure with his black eyes examined Ariel’s condition after his trial, and that led to a surprising discovery—one that is very surprising to himself. The boy had no markings in his chest. Surprised, he took a look at his hands. There was no marking there. His eyes widened. He put his hand to his face, thinking.
''Oh, what a strange being. How can someone like him just be out here? In the middle of nowhere? How can no one notice his indifference to the world? Regardless, his very existence is a danger to this world; should I just take him with me?
No, no, no, that’s way too risky.
The war ends in 5 years from now.
I can't be reckless now, but if the kings and princesses take notice of him, then things are bound to get ugly, so then what should I do?
He’s an important key to perhaps ending this war that’s been going on for a thousand years; however, he could also do the opposite. He's just 15. Why would someone suffer such a huge burden right from the get go? Why is his life planned to be doomed just like this?’’
Try as he might, Solaine just couldn’t figure anything out—an existence that’s different from others, an outcast from this cursed world. Either way, regardless of everything, Ariel is certainly heading to his doom in the near future, and after thinking for a while,
He decided to see how things play out for the time being; worrying too much about something that hadn’t occurred yet would only make things worse for him, and thus it's best to keep a clear head about this; there’s no guarantee things are going to get ugly this quick anyway. It's best to cover up his chest and make it seem inconspicuous; this way it won’t draw attention, at least for the time being. He covered it up with bandages and moved the carriage, hesitating all the while wondering what fate would befall the 15-year-old kid in the future.
----------------------------
After sleeping for a while, Ariel woke up feeling good and fully in shape. He looked around and he’s still in the carriage the curtain closing the inner part of the carriage leaving no light to be found and just pure darkness fortunately he found the riders seat in the front he got up and walked there he found Solaine riding the carriage alongside him with an emotionless face.
Ariel sat next to him, looking straight ahead. The sky was so bright and blue that somehow even he was surprised.
After a deep silence between them, Solaine spoke up: Ariel, have you heard of the history of this world?’’ Ariel listened with curiosity The history of the world was the last thing he expected to hear Without waiting for Ariel’s response, Solaine went on about the history of the world.

135,0000 years
A princess with flowing brunette hair and a golden crown in her head sat on her throne. She wore a cape with a silver mane and fur on it. She looked towards the ongoing war between saints, ancient beings, devils, humans, and lastly, eternities.
They fought hard till eventually half of the continent was forcibly erased from this world. The brunette princess stood up and walked outside. What lay ahead of her was nothing more than corpses upon corpses. Some had their whole body burned to a crisp, leaving only their bones; Some had lost half of their body, while other parts of their body were scattered or hanged to showcase how brutal they can be.
This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
Some had their innards pulled out all around the bloodstained ground.
She, despite all this, kept walking and walking with her golden heels without a single emotion in her already beautiful face, without a destination in mind.
She lost everything.
She remembered being the first princess to be crowned.
She remembered commanding and fighting on the frontlines.
She remembered forming meaningful bonds with her fellow knights and people.
She remembered the many trials and tribulations she had to face.
She remembered how to grow stronger and attain higher status.
She remembered falling in love for the first time.
She remembered being betrayed by her people and causing treason.
She remembered expanding her kingdom and status.
She remembered punishing her people who caused the treason by burning their bodies in the stake so as to showcase the price of causing treason
She forgot her name after living for 100 years.
She forgot her love after living for 200 years.
She forgot her kingdom after living for 300 years.
She forgot her status and people after living for 400 years.
She forgot her whole reason for existence after living for 800 years.
And after 10,000 years, she finally forgot herself.
After living for 10,000 years, she wanted to forget everything to simply sleep for eternity, and thus she wished for the end of everything. For herself, she looked up, and a big blob of darkness descended down into this god-forsaken world. Thus, her story came to an end; the world came to an end, and thus she slept and slept and slept and slept, for she decided to wish for one more thing for her to be reborn as a god.
To preserve this world and to not make the same mistake ever again, she rebuilt the world, and thus, after sleeping for so long, she felt sluggish and created an alter ego, gave it a name, and created a body and released it onto the world, promising to watch over it till its mission is realized for all eternity.
100 years later
It walked onto the soil of the ground each sleep it took. The ground of the world started forming into whatever it desired for the sake of its mission and for its God to watch over it.
200 years later
About 30 percent of the world was constructed, and yet it kept constructing and restructuring the world to its own desire.
Its God fell asleep and forsake its own wish, and through that it eventually got a mind of its own and a body of its own—a female body to be exact—a brunette and golden eyes with purely white and slender arms and legs enough to break apart at any second, yet it did not mind, for it kept fulfilling its mission to construct and reconstruct even though its God has all and abandoned it.
500 years later
It got a name and a status. Neah (Savior) was overjoyed from receiving a name and status; it kept helping people; its own power brought down avalanches and stopped many natural disasters, to the point many folks regarded Neah as the God of this world.
And thus it kept on going for days, weeks, months, years, decades, and even centuries; it did not stop whatsoever even after being betrayed and used for its godlike powers.
Not even after being granted a disgusting and black form of darkness in its wake, she was in a cave sealed all alone in the darkness, much like it had been. It cursed its God, questioned its God, and tried to search for its God, but it all proved useless.
It thought of sealing itself for eternity, hoping its God would notice and help it.
1200 years
Its God had not responded
1300 years
Its God has not responded
1400 years
Its God has not responded
120000 years
It woke up and decided to create its own alter ego, much like its God, it was a she, she was given a gender and a human body with a mark on its chest, and thus from now on she would be known as Neah (Caretaker)
13000 years
Neah (the caretaker) built many things; one, she built lands and brought many things to her side helping the poor and the weak in poverty and creating nature by creating elements from fire, side, water, space, earth, ice, metal, and darkness.
with this the world had a clear state, previously parts of it crumbled down without a proper form and so Neah (Caretaker) decided to create a form in the shape of humans coveting a power from its own respectable element and housing a book to take half of its power so as not cause the world to crumble due to the overwhelming state of the Godlike powers.
130000 years
This continued on for many years and thankfully poverty and natural disasters became less of a problem thanks to the Godlike bestowed by Neah (Caretaker) she decided to give them status as kings and princesses and through many struggles it would continue on like that for years to come.
135,000 years
Present time, even though the war has been going on for centuries, most of the world is in peace now, and Neah (the caregiver) split her own power and rested as the world is now in peace.
----------------------
After hearing all this, Ariel was speechless; so much information was just thrown at him by Solaine without any hesitation. As Ariel kept on listening, he kept on thinking, Why did Noah's God forsake her? Why did her people betray her and cause treason? How did it manage to survive for so long? Who or What is Neah exactly? And lastly, what was that big blob of darkness that swallowed everything?.
Solaine stopped the carriage, stretched his back, and spoke yet again.
‘’ I have a few theories about that big blob of darkness. I’ve been thinking about it for so long, and I think I’ve come up with an answer.'' Solaine spoke matter of factly as if he knew all along,
‘’That big blob of darkness is probably the collective consciousness of the people who died in that war between saints, ancient beings, devils, humans, and lastly, eternities, the collective thought to end this bloodstained and eternal war to swallow it all, and thus it formed a big blob of darkness, and it descended down swallowing everything, leaving nothing behind.’’
This deduction from Solaine led Ariel to believe that perhaps this world was created merely to prevent a second eternal war and to bring peace once and for all to this world, the peace that the people desperately wanted and begged.
So why do people still cling to bloodshed?
As Ariel pondered this question, the world kept changing, and soon it would be met with a terrible fate at the hands of the golden boy.
