The boy
Clouds and honey

Clouds and honey

As the remains layed on the ground, the boy sat down.

The boy speaks: “a she came to my aid”.

“But I made sure that a she is no more in your life... “,the remains interrupts the boy.

“Indeed, that’s what you did… but her memories still remains, for they will forever live by my side. Now old friend, interrupting me you’ll do no more, for if you wouldn’t lay there and quietly listen, my fist will hammer your fate with a wrath you have never faced”, and silent the remains became… yet the boy’s soul shaken it became.

He smiled and said “I miss her… I really do …”

He sat still as the memories of a she flooded his mind.

“Hey sad thing, why are you smiling? “, she said.

“I am not sad “; as the boy replied a tear fell from his eye without him even noticing...

“Answer me this then… why are you tearing up?” she said again.

That was the first conversation they ever had, for she had noticed what no one did, the sorrow his eyes had. With a gentle touch she barged the walls he has built. Gray walls that trapped him with the demons he made for himself. Gray walls that she painted with her words and chased the demons out, for her words broke the walls that trapped his unheard screams.

A she always used to tell him: “Stay strong and don’t just pretend for you are a being with power over the dreams you want to live”.

His religion was built around illusions and the things he feared,

“It’s all in your head… stay strong”, she often said. For she knew that he is mostly afraid of himself and the broken thoughts he can’t mend.. Her words were the calm to his storm instead. And that’s how he knew; loving her was never a choice but only a duty to be honorably served.

With a vivid smile she wandered his lonely world, a smile that was brought from the heights of a heaven he often dreamed of. He was like a lost ship, with no destination he sailed. And she was his guidance, for she was the light house to his darkened sea. She welcomed him and sunken his ship into the depths of her heart instead, a heart that warmed his cold nights,a heart that planted the seed of hope that his smile lacked, a smile that he missed and remembered from the times he was young… for she resurrected his smile from the depth of the waste land he used to rein. The waste land of his unfulfilled promises and broken words.

She promised him once that she’ll never leave his side, eventually she did. A promise that was broken by the boy’s own hand…

“So… are you going to speak or silent you’ll remain? “, the remains said as he interrupted the boy’s daydream.

“Sigh…I shall carry on then “, the boy says, “A memory of a she came to my aid… she used to tell me stay strong a lot, you know? … Well those words were my gateway to get through the void you left me to rot in and they helped me to stand up once again… but as you once told me that was only the beginning of my redemption… hang tight because the story will get bumpy from here onwards “…
