I dashed at him, charging a right straight with all my strength. "You will die!" I yelled, pouring every ounce of my power into the punch aimed at his face. I had to have gotten him. As the dust settled, I saw his palm held my fist firmly in place. He blocked that? I quickly chambered my left leg back, intending to strike while he was still occupied with my fist. Kicking up with precision and force, I aimed for his chin. Incredibly, he blocked it with his mere pinky finger, barely exerting any effort. Frustration building, I retreated my leg and switched to knee strikes, hoping to catch him off guard. He maintained a firm grip on my fist, preventing me from escaping. I need to 'persuade' him. Repeatedly sending knees toward his chin, he blocked each one effortlessly with a different finger, as if toying with me.
I kicked him in the stomach with all the force I could muster, and he released his grip for a brief moment. Taking advantage of this, I extended my toes and bounced back, flipping to recover my stance. Without hesitation, I leapt into the air, soaring high into the sky. As I ascended, I spun hundreds of times, gathering centrifugal force for a powerful attack. Releasing a beautiful butterfly kick, I aimed it perfectly, but he blocked it effortlessly with his forearm. Not giving up, I spun the opposite way, channeling all my energy into an uppercut aimed at his chin. Perfect, he didn't block it! But wait! Did I hit steel?! Backing up a few feet, I grasped my fist and looked at it. It was swollen and throbbing with pain. A direct hit to such a vulnerable place, and nothing?! My mind raced as I tried to comprehend his inhuman resilience.
Facing him, his eyes were blank, devoid of any emotion. This isn't even worth a conscious thought for him. He told me, "Stop this. I'll answer any questions you have." His calm demeanor sent chills down my spine. I had to oblige; if he were to attack me, I'd die. I wiped myself off, brushing away the dust and trying to steady my breath. "Sure, I'll talk." I responded, attempting to sound composed despite the adrenaline coursing through me. He beckoned me on, "Then follow me." Without waiting for a reply, he turned around and walked through the plaza with a confident stride. I followed him, my mind racing with questions and fears. I had no other choice.
Walking through the city to where he was leading me, he occasionally glanced back, his expression unreadable. Finally, he asked, "What do you wish to know?" Many subjects rushed through my mind, but four main questions stood out. I decided to start with the most pressing one. "Are you the devil?" I asked. He turned forward and laughed, a chilling sound that echoed in the empty streets. "No, I'm not. I worship him, though. He gave me all of this power." I questioned further, "What's your goal with the Alliance?" He twiddled his fingers thoughtfully and then stopped for a second. I stopped too, instantly on guard. He looked up, eyes gleaming with ambition. "For me? World domination and every material desire I hold." He then looked down, his voice dropping to a more sinister tone. "For him, though? To take this fallen world for himself and use it as a battleground in the future." A battleground? My heart raced as I realized the implications. He's talking about Revelations. The end times, a cosmic war.
Moving past many stores and hotels, we walked in silence for a while. I mustered the courage to ask another question, "What do you want with me?" A crackle of black flame appeared on his left boot, casting an eerie glow. "Nothing bad." he replied, though his darkening aura suggested otherwise. He was angered by my question, and I knew I needed to tread carefully. Before I could ask my next question, he continued, "I have orchestrated some events in your life. For example, I made War come and fight you, meaning I knew where you'd come from. Predestination type stuff." That makes no sense! Wouldn't he come and take me out himself, then? Suddenly, he stomped the ground, denting the concrete with a powerful impact. "Jump and follow." he commanded. With a single, effortless leap, he soared into the sky, landing on a nearby skyscraper. I took a deep breath and, gathering all my strength, jumped in the same direction, following him to the towering building.
Wait a second, are we just going to break through glass? Only a few hundred feet from the skyscraper's top floor, I could see inside. It was adorned with a beautiful white and black modernist décor, the entire place state-of-the-art. Breaking through the glass effortlessly, Thana descended gracefully inside. I followed, landing behind him, shards scattering around me. He looked at me, his expression inscrutable. "Come into this room." he said, pointing to a door that led to another section. The door ominously whistled as a draft moved through it, adding to the tension. I nodded, the sound of my heartbeat loud in my ears, and followed him inside.

Walking inside, the room was adorned with Satanist symbols and blood. How could this be inside a skyscraper? Wait, an altar? At the end of the room was a throne with an altar beside it, one of those altars that display stats. He stated, "Don't judge me, this is just who I am." I'm already judging you, pal, I thought to myself. He walked to his throne and sat upon it, resting his arms leisurely. "I have a deal for you," he said. "What deal?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady. "You had a choice, sure, but the Devil told me your actions ahead of time. You walked right into my hands," he explained, a smug smile playing on his lips. I tightened my fist, angered at this revelation. He noticed and, with a sorrowful look, apologized, "don't worry, if I wanted to kill you, you'd be dead. Here's the offer I have..." What could it be?
He smiled, a glint of malevolence in his eyes. "Work with me as my right hand, and dominate the world together with me." So many things were wrong with this deal. I had to illuminate a few. "After all you've seen me do, you think I'll accept this?" I told him. In an instant, he disappeared and reappeared beside me, draping his arm over my shoulder. He whispered into my ear, "Yeah, I do." Opening his hand, black flames spewed from it, the searing heat brushing past my face. This is intense!

Thana slid back, creating some distance between us. I let out my arms to the side, allowing the lightning to envelop me. I didn't say a word to this monster. With a burst of speed, I dashed forward and threw a left jab. He caught it with his right hand, his grip like iron. Tearing away from his grasp, I unleashed a barrage of jabs. He ducked under the first, then swayed effortlessly to avoid each subsequent punch. Determined to land a hit, I stepped in for the last jab, extending my range. My fist grazed his cheek, causing him to bite his tongue. He yelled, "Aw, man. I bit my tongue." his tone a mix of annoyance and amusement.
Firing a right straight in his moment of distraction, he deftly ducked under it. With my guard down, he seized my neck, lifting me effortlessly into the air. I grasped desperately at his forearm, trying to tear him off. "No, no. You're way too weak." he taunted, his grip unyielding.
