Where am I? What is this place? these were the few questions I asked myself as I stood in pitch darkness subtly glancing all around me but all I could see was darkness, it almost felt like I was floating but on the ground at the same time suddenly a golden celestial light radiated in front of me and a large feminine figure appeared from the beaming celestial light, the golden light began to wrap around her coating her in the celestial aura. Her eyes glowed an ethereal shade of gold and I could just about make out a cross in her iris where her pupil would be, she wore long white robes which touched the floor and her sleeves were long pieces of fabric that twisted around her arms Until it got to her wrist and then flow down. It was a dark shade of red that slightly glistened in the dark abyss. Her eyes were fixated upon me, I tried to speak but it was like something was binding my mouth together-I couldn't get any words out. After a long couple of minutes she spoke, her voice... her voice, The only way I could truly describe her voice was angelic, With every word that left her mouth I felt my body relax. I clung to her every word like they would be the last thing I would hear
“Awaken” she whispered, Instantly A golden light wrapped around my body until I was fully enveloped in a cocoon made of light. It felt so warm and nostalgic like I had felt this before. Soon the feeling started to fade away and the enveloping glow started to recede. Suddenly I jolted up in a cold sweat, I scanned my surroundings to see where I was. I'm back in my room, I pondered. “Was that all a dream?” I slowly started to climb out of my bed and abruptly fell to my knees. A sharp, pulsating pain struck my head as a flurry of images entered my mind, I gripped my head with both of my hands and screamed, “Life drawing” I whispered almost instinctively, the pain was gone now, and my mind started to clear up. I got up from the floor and sat up on my bed with my hands on my forehead and my elbows resting on my thighs. I tried to piece the information that appeared in my head but it all seemed to be discombobulated. All I could remember was life drawing. What does that mean though? There's no point in thinking too hard about it at this moment. Suddenly a large rumble emanated from my stomach,
“huh? I don't think I ate today” thinking back now I didn't eat last night either. I got up from my bed and walked through the hallway, heading down my stairs I grabbed a pen and paper from a counter in front of my door and wrote
“I've gone out to grab something to eat and be home soon”.After I put the pen down I walked toward the door and opened it and then headed out. I quickly opened the door and strolled out of my house. I walked through the seemingly empty streets and glanced around peculiarly, there were a couple of people walking around but they all seemed to be around the same age as me this confused me because usually there would be an elderly couple who would be sitting on the bench feeding the birds they would often come out at this time for as long as I could remember I wonder if they are ok I wondered to myself. I continued to walk on the sidewalk, as I was walking I saw a couple of people poking their heads out of their windows as I strolled past their houses. At the end of the street, there was a small beige shop with various signs and posters displayed on their window. I walked up to the glass door which was already open. I walked through the doorway closed the door behind me and looked toward the till but there was no one there,

“Hello… is there anyone here” called out I waited a few seconds but there was no response suddenly a strange chill crept down my back as I heard the door creak open, a young girl with bright blonde hair and deep emerald eyes crept up from behind the door and glanced towards me before looking towards the till .after a few moments her eyes landed back on me
“Is there no one here as well?” she asked in a soft tone she almost sounded tired, still standing close to the door.
“Uhh...no I don't think so” I responded rather awkwardly, not sure of what to say.
“But what do you mean as well” I added Her eyes were now fixed upon mine
“Haven't you looked around? There are a lot of people missing... I'm not sure what's going on but I'm going to keep looking around” she said calmly
“What do you think is going on,” I asked hesitantly not sure of what was going on I had only just woken up a couple of minutes ago before I walked down here
“I'm not sure but I haven't seen any adults or young children ever since I woke up,” she said as she scratched her head trying to put it together then she shrugged
“Anyway, I'm going to keep looking. You should be on the lookout as well ” she told me with a determined look on her face,
She then walked out of the shop leaving me there to think in silence. I watched as she walked on the sidewalk every so often she would look all around her and then continue walking. I watched as she walked away until she cut a corner and disappeared from my view. I stood there and began thinking to myself
“Well, she's right! I haven't seen an adult or little child since I woke up. Every person I have seen so far has been around my age and people around me look very confused and also that weird dream I had. I think I should keep that to myself, for now, I don't want anyone to think I'm crazy or anything ” I shook my head bringing myself back into reality then I walked out of the store and headed home I walked through the street of houses until I reached mine, I opened the door slowly and walked in, my mom should be home by now I thought
"Mom?" I shouted but there was no response
It was only me and my mom living together after my dad passed away, I was little when it happened so I didn't know him well, she has always been very overprotective of me and she always got home at a certain time or she would at least call or text me to let me know she would be running late. I picked up my phone and began calling her
Brr brrr brr my phone rang for a minute and then I would cut the call and call again. I called her phone 4 times before I finally gave up.
