Prologue

Spoiler alert!! If you haven't read to a certain point in LMS, this may reveal some stuff!

The priest, clad in a dark red robe lined with gold and silver , stood in a forest clearing deep within.

Soon many figures stepped forward forming a circle around that which seemed to be an altar.

The erie silence pursued, as finally the priest spoke out, "We will now begin the ceremony."

An erie silence was broken as a chanting began. The figures all chanted softly slowly reaching

a peak, suddenly every single figure pulled out a, what seemed to be, ceremonial knife.

At the same time they raised their left arms up, and all slit their wrists. The dark red

blood of these mortal beings soon filled the forest with a deep stench of blood. With the exemption

of the priest all of the figures fell, laying dead on the ground. As we look upon a fallen figure

who's hood has fallen off, we find an elf. The elf was male, he looked to be in his 40s.

He had the dignified look of an High Elf yet possessed the wild fierce look of a Wood Elf,

with the pale dark skin of a Dark Elf. There lies the bodies of 50 elves of unknown origin.

The priest then speaks, "Oh great Goddess of the Benevolent Forest, heed my call, I the seventh priest

of our order begs of you. I offer the blood of my comrades to call forth your being into our plane of existence. I ask for your

knowledge and your mercy to guide my people. Please hear my voice,

as I transcend my voice into your plane. Dilanthra!" In the altar soon sprouted a sapling, as it

grew the blood surrounding the altar seem to be absorbed to further its growth. The stench of

blood soon dissipated as the natural smell of the wild returned. The tree grew a full seven feet

and stopped. After a minute or so the tree contorted, it finally settled in a female figure, although it was made out of wood it's

its place floated a woman of great beauty, it's benevolent shine radiated throughout the forest.

Animals of all types gathered squirrels, wolves, bears, etc. Even long enemies sat there quietly.

They all recognized her as their guardian deity. They sat there gazing upon

her, knowing it was an honor to even be here. A yelp of a young wolf

resounded in the clearing, as a human warrior stepped out into the

clearing. "Holy Sh*! What in the world!" As soon as he finished talking his being was no more.

The goddess had a face of great rage, but soon disappeared as she looked upon the young pup.

She raised her hand above its wound. With a gentle glow the gash was no more, not even a scar.

The benevolence of her being was so great every one including priest cried. It's mother quickly

thanked the goddess. She smiled and conversed with the she wolf. The priest nodded with approval,

his face showed pride in his goddess, and he knew made the right choice of choosing her. As was it

"Father why are we in such a hurry to leave?"

"Don't argue with me Nicole, just pack up."

"I'll tell you on the way, now just hurry and pack!"

"The King has been murdered! A civil war might break out we must leave before it hits us!"

"King Weed? Impossible!"

"We'll never get the chance to live here again we must move for the sake of our survival. We still need to take care of Nicole!"

"Alright."

"So..ugggg"

As the man was beginning to speak he croaked, as bright red liquid spilled out of his mouth.

The woman just screamed, then charged at the warrior with a metal pan she was sticking in

a bag and bringing along. A slick sound rang as a sword was removed from the back of the

man, and the sword met with neck of the woman as it, plop, fell down on the ground.

Nicole walk in and was speechless, she trembled with fear, tears well up in her eyes,

and she stared crying. The warrior walked over to her and smiled a crooked smile.

Suddenly an arrow flew right through the warriors head. A cloaked eleven figure walked

into the house with a bow in hand. She spoke, " Young girl do you wish to follow me,

I can help you become stong and never have to feel the pain of having to lose someone again?

The girl nodded her head as she sniffled trying to stop crying.

The elf picked her up in her arms and quickly took her away and into the forest.
