CHAPTER 1.1
Striking A deal

Blake was switching from one document to another, trying to find connections between them and piece them together to create a timeline, for the events which lead to the specific creation of his home, an island which surfaced near Japan after at least 2000 years of staying dormant.
It was about 100 Km in width and 170 Km in length, making the area of the land roughly 17000 Km2. It was quite large, but still nothing in comparison to it’s sister, Japan and perhaps closer to England. Surprisingly enough however, the island didn’t have many different towns and cities, with one of the largest cities in the world, Lastrosse and 7 towns, and a small percentage of farm and woodland area.
Perhaps it could be divided as such, 40% Lastrosse, and 35% for the Seven Towns and finally the remaining 25% farmland and woodland.
Hmm, it says here that back in the day grandfather got his goods from a Black Market, that was in the Underground over to the Town side. The closest town to my old apartment was Silyu.
A weird name for a Town in the resurfaced island of Derlinder, but apparently it has some weird origin and no one knows who named the island itself, since after it’s surfacing, scientists and eager immigrants moved from Japan, Korea and China. Even a small number of Indian and Pakistani also moved to this scientifically impossible location and in the rush someone just pushed the name onto the newly appointed officials.

Why impossible, because in the four regions of this island, throughout the year the seasons are different.
The whole of the island never has the same season, I heard that it was snowing in Silyu the other day, and here just about ten miles into the farmland, it’s spring time.
This phenomenon alone could be enough to talk about for years, but since such a thing as magic and mutated blood exists no one could question that at the very place where a nuclear bomb was dropped sixty years ago would be the mother of such strange happenings.
Well, going all the way over to Silyu Underground is out of the question, for I am but a poor, weak child who wishes for some Ramen.
A while ago I became acquainted with a very old man who calls himself an Alchemist, well I guess it’s just about right since he’s the age of my grandfather but looks like a child.
My life is strange, but when you’ve been hit by lightning four times since birth, you really start to believe in most coincidences.
Anyhow, my sister linked me to the Old Man Alchemist, apparently he has a workshop in the Underground Black Space, a reincarnation of the old Black Market.
I grab one of the old working Telephones my grandfather stashed in the basement of the old house, since the new phones do not work with the old numbers which the Black Space uses.

Ring~~~
I could hear the call going and connecting to the other side until finally a familiar childish voice picked up.
“Kid, it’s been a while”
“Yeah, you are the kid here Hazard”
“Well look in a mirror”
“Well, why call?”
“Can you bring me some Ramen?”
“Eh?”
“Hah? I’m your customer aren’t I? Get me one of the Old Premium Stock you have, oh and also be a dear and bring me one of those Pistols that you lot used in the past”
“So that’s why, huh?”
“I have no need to tell you, and also come on the helicopter, I’m leaving the Balcony door open. I’m gonna lay down now, chow”
“That Kid, he asks me to do that with full confidence that I will. He really is an idiot. Still can’t help but take it to him”
