The first defenders of the universe must be strong. It takes trillions of years for a universe to develop the power needed to protect itself. A new universe has been attacked before its fruition. Underdeveloped universes are supposed to fall. This one refuses to and turns to its only source of protection, but it is risky. To survive, Earth is forcibly Accelerated. Dean Sykes did not know when the world went dark, but then again, he is blind. Tucked away from the rest of society, he lived a quiet life. Now, he is thrust into a role and position that most likely will cost him his life. Aided by no one but a bat that occasionally screeches, Dean must fight for his life and decided whether he is willing to save society when they turned his back on him. P.S. This is my first novel and I will be trying my best with it. I am open to any suggestions, and I may potentially be rewriting a LOT. This idea needs to be refined still but I hope you all enjoy.
