The next day, I woke up on the floor, and my back was hurting. A lot. I must've fallen off the couch as I slept. But that didn’t matter much to me, the pain was slowly going away. I stood up as I walked over to Mina’s room, which I found her sleeping. I shook her shoulder, but she didn’t budge. Then I realized: Touching her shoulder can’t wake her up. So I went down to the kitchen, took out a frying pan and an egg carton, cracked the egg, and began frying an egg. It took some time, but eventually, Mina woke up and walked to the kitchen, half-naked, and wearing sweatpants. I stopped as I saw her.

“Yeah…”

“Well… don’t you think you could rest a bit? You’ve played that for, like, 5 hours…”

“I DID?!?!”

I quickly shut my 3DS and stood up. My legs felt a bit weak, but I managed to walk for a bit before I fell. Mina ran up to find out that I was knocked out. Smiling, she tucked me into the couch and bid me goodnight as she walked to her room.

And that’s how my day ended. Because when I woke up, it was night.
