2 years ago, exactly half of the 196.9 million square miles that make up the earth's surface disappeared. They didn't collapse, they didn't get blown up by some nuclear attack. They were just gone. And in their place? A seemingly endless black nothingness. And the land that disappeared didn't just disappear on a surface level. No, every area covered in that black emptiness was gone, down to the very core of the earth. What did humanity do about this, you ask? Well, nothing. Why would they? There were no giant explosions, no devastating earthquakes, and no horrific plagues. Billions were dead, yes, but after that, nothing else happened. All humanity had to do was avoid the black, and the world returned to a semblance of normalcy. And it would stay that way.Or at least, that was what everyone thought. But then, one kid decided to do something insane. Nobody knows why she did it, and nobody knows what happened to her afterward, but everyone knows what she did.She jumped into the black.
