The story of Royal roads begun with a penguin named Wing. She wasn't like her penguin brothers. No. she was a penguin who would not settle for just building nests and fishing. Her heart was set on discovering the world and finding herself a home she could put her heart and soul into.
So it begun. With a penguin waddeling down the road of fate.
She waddled across the land, trying to find her role in the world. It was then when she found a vast expance of land. A valley for her taking. What if she created a kingdom of her own? People could find their own fates in her realm. That could be her role in life. One problem; a small penguin could barley lift a rock let alone build herself a kingdom. She would need a companion to help her dream come true.
She went to a nearby village and asked around for help in her project.
"I promise this place will grow big and become a home for many! If you put faith in my dream you will be rewarded down the line!" however everyone refused her. Dissapointed and sad she waddled to the mountains to think and ponder what she should do next.
Deep in her thoughts, she almost didn't notice the giant, red Dragon decending down from above. She looked up with surprise. She was a brave penguin so she was anafraid of the giant creature.
"Who dares come into my land?" He growled, his voice rumbling deep within his throat.

"Hello great and powerful beast, I am Wing. I have come here to think, I am sorry to disturb you, I was unaware that this was your home." Wing started standing up and made a show of her heading away however the dragon shook his head.
"No. It's fine. It's been a while since I have had any visitors. I just have to be cautious as many heroes have tried to strike me down for their own pride and glory. What brings you here young one?"
"I just came here to think. I wanted to create a great kingdom to help people build their futures, but I am just one small penguin. There is no way I can make a kingdom by myself." said forlornlly.
"Don't fret little one. I am a big dragon who can carry many heavy things. You have not treated me with hate or fear and I have been lonley up here. I will lend you my strength in exchange for your friendship."
Wing grinned and nodded. "That sounds like a good deal to me!"
They flew back to the land and there they begun to build. They begun with a large castle keep then built outwards. First layer was for the homes of the nobles who theyd call "Mods" and "Admins", then the business workers's section for the "Authors", the artisan section for the "Artists" and lastly a large section for the citizens to wonder and explore, try their hand at some crafts and work their way to the top.
They build a long pebble road expanding to far so that the journey to success was one of ease.
Once they finished, they looked upon the land from the sky on the dragon, Kanadaj's back, and thought up names.
"What about Royal kingdom?" Kana suggested.
"No. I want them to feel welcomed! Anyone regardless of origin. I want them to walk into our home on the path we set for them and help them create a world for themselves. I think ... we should call it...
Royal Road."
