Every time the universe ends a new one is created in its place.
Every universe is different but similar, it always has a base sentient life form, the human as it's typically known as. But depending on the energy used in the formation of the universe by the true God or true Gods dictates what other forms of life are created or evolve naturally and what kind of abilities they have and use and what energies they can manipulate.
There are four main types of energy. Which are called Qi, Mana, Dark Matter, and Psy energy. Qi energy is a external energy, Mana is a internal energy, Dark Matter is a world energy that beings that aren't Gods cannot manipulate and Psy energy is a mental energy that all sentient being and some animal manipulate.
If Qi energy is used to create the universe it can go one of two ways. The first way is it stays as Qi energy so humans don't evolve, aliens aren't created and animals become more intelligent and stronger. The second way is when the Qi energy mutates and becomes World Essence and when this happens humans DNA evolves so they gain bloodlines that can give them boosts like WE (World Essence) fire based attacks are stronger and the same of animals except when they reach a certain stage in cultivation they can turn into humans. Furthermore it is important to know that aliens aren't created.

If Mana is used to create the universe it will also go one of two ways. The first way is Mana will infuse into everything in the universe and some human will evolve into non humans like Elves and Dwarves. Aliens won't be created and planets with only one type of sentient life will exist like a planet of only elves or planets with mixed humanoids will exist. The second way is when Mana mutates and becomes Ki which causes countless aliens to be created,the chance of evolving is very slim and hybrids have a large chance of occurring when two compatible species mate.
If Psy energy is used to create the universe either all intelligent life will gain a ESP power or very few will and the possible powers are near endless from becoming an instant god to been able to see 1cm extra in front of you when using the power.
And if Dark Matter is used to create the universe everything will be the same except either humans will or won't evolve but what will always happen is aliens will be created and technology will flourish. If the humans evolve they will gain the mutant X gene which is similar to ESP but it can also cause physical changes like blue skin and retractable bone claws.
Now you maybe wonder how I know this because if when the universe ends a new one is created in its place how can I know all this. Well that's because I can never die when the universe starts anew I live on when my body dies my soul remains waiting for a new body or the next universe when my soul is shattered it will eventually piece itself back together.
