Hi my name is Mary Kettler, and I’m a adventurer, is what I would like to say, but at the moment I’m just a traveler. Let me explain, up until a couple of days ago I was a farmhand for a small town called Kettle. I loved it there the people were so nice to me and food was to die for, but it was my 21st birthday and I realized that I wanted more, like to see and experience more things then just what was in Kettle, I wanted to be a adventurer, so I decided to leave and I thought everyone would be angry with me for leaving, but the opposite happened, everyone was so loving and understanding but the weirdest thing was it was like they were expecting it, maybe it was obvious what I wanted and I was the last to figure it out. So I left but there was one person I couldn’t tell I was leaving, but beside the point I have been traveling for 3 days now and stuck in the rain, luckily I found this nice sturdy tree to lean on until it lets up, my epic journey is unfolding I can’t wait.

“GROWL!” It was nice for the town to lend me 10 silver pieces, but I would kill for some food right now, if I was back at Kettle I could be eating some nice cooked stew, I could smell it now, wait a minute that smell is to clear, but its raining who would be cooking stew now, I sniffed around until I saw a man across the road with a pot of stew a kid and 2 fishing rods. “GROWL!” at least I can imaging I’m eating that stew. The smell is totally enough to satisfy me. Yep I’m not hungry at all “GROWL!” how am I ever going to become a adventurer if I starve “Hey miss would you like some food?” did I just hear that or did I imagine it, the kid then got up and ran up to me “Hey miss DID YOU HEAR ME DO YOU WANT SOME FOOD!” he said it super slow and loudly does he think I can’t understand. I mean if hes offering then “Really you want me to eat your stew?” while saying that he was pulling me over to the pot of stew, with the man sitting there pouring it into 3 bowls. I felt like crying my eyes out, people really are great “My son saw you over there eyeing our stew and asked if he could share with you hope its to your liking.” hes so kind, the kid sat down next to his father, and was handed a bowl as was I “Thank you so much I have some silver I know-” the father stopped me “Its okay I don’t want your money I JUST WANT YOUR BLOOD!” his eyes began rolling in the back of his head, and stuck his tongue out, the kid then smacked him on the back of the head “Dad come on don’t be so mean we’re not trying to scare her to death!” I let out a sigh of relief, and begin eating the stew it was really good it looked like they used fish for it “Do you two go fishing often?” the dad almost chocked on his food as he was about to laugh “I do but my son doesn’t enjoy it as much as I do so sadly no.” the kid looked embarrassed “I wish I knew how to fish maybe I wouldn’t be out here starving if I did” the dad looked excited and tried to calm back down “Well if you want to learn its really not that hard I could teach you.” learning how to fish would really help me when it comes to food I don’t know a thing about hunting, and it’s not like I can use my farming skills while traveling “If your willing I would love to learn” the dad then double timed eating his food “Well no time like the present” he then grabbed a fishing rod and threw a smaller one at me and began walking into the forest, the kid didn’t look shocked and just went with his dad, I got up and caught up “Should we really go fishing during the rain” the father turned his head to me with that same excited look in his eyes “Yes the rain wakes the fish up and gives us the opportunity we need to get our dinner.” I then saw it, the bluest clearest lake I have ever seen, it was so serene, and yet disturbed as the rain dropped into it and the ripples that followed only made it look even better “I could get use to this” I noticed the father pull the rod over his shoulder, and wait “Now.” he then swung the rod with all his might, and the string went into the middle of the lake “Now since there is two of us, make sure not to put it to close to mine” okay so just do what he did, but some where else got it, I swung the rod back and threw it I almost let the whole thing go “So now what?” the father smirked and the kid sat down “Now we wait” the rain felt so good on my skin this is so refreshing, this is why I left to experience new things, I want the exciting, the mundane, the everything, this world is so amazing.
