For years, the magicians of "The Arcane Academy of Tarot" shaped the idea that emerged from the twisted mind of its founder, a man obsessed with the art of tarot, a practice with a long tradition in the world of magic. To do this, they created an artifact called "The Nexus", which allowed their minds to merge into one. Teachers, principals, and students slowly worked together to create this macabre magic. At the height of the academy's glory, something happened that no one expected. A group of magicians, in search of knowledge, made a terrible pact with an unknown creature. This act led the group and the entire academy to pay the ultimate price for their recklessness. The creature devoured the minds of the wizards, leaving only their empty bodies in the material world.

This activated the magic, to complete the action it was created for: gain all existing magical knowledge, including that of the tarot, causing it to merge with the creature. The portal guardians were horrified by the consequences of their actions and realized that they had unleashed a terrible curse upon themselves. They tried to stop the creature and trap it in a space between the worlds with a spell. The spell was successful, but at a terrible cost: the guardians themselves were consumed by the very magic they sought to control.

And so this creature was born, a formless essence, the only distinguishable thing being those tentacle-like appendages, trapped in a separate dimension, seeking to break out of its eternal prison and fulfill its insatiable desire for knowledge and freedom.
