What the hell is this, why can't I get through. Many of us already used combined attacks to breach this damned barrier but no luck. Who made this, an immortal? No not even immortals could make this. Damn it all, if who I think is undergoing a tribulation then we are all screwed.

Damn it, it's starting, no no no no no. We all watched as the nine bolts of red lightning all crashed dawn to a distant dragon like figure. Damn it is Hei Long, but he was a loose immortal, how could he undergo tribulation again. Unless he has a deity backing him. No no, that's impossible all deities died during ragnarok. If he does have one then its too terrifying to think about. Not to mention him becoming immortal, even as a loose immortal he could challenge golden immortal kings and win. Shit we just can't break through and stop him.

"LETS GO, WE CAN'T STOP THEM" I yelled.

Just like that we all left disappointed.

Pan Long pov

Haha losers, plot armour for the win. I gazed towards the distant Hei Long as he met the first bolt of red lightning. Interesting, he actually triggered red lightning, if he can survive then he would produce a first class immortal soul, becoming a deity is almost guaranteed.

I watched as the kid survived the first bolt with ease and prepared himself to meet the second. Seeing this tribulation really take me back. When I underwent my tribulation it was even more intense. The red lightning from it almost destroyed the planet I was on. Thankfully I have plot armour so I can protect this world. A residue of the second bolt bounced towards me, it slammed into me with the force and power of a nuke. It was powerful but that didn't even faze me, It was much weaker then mime were. I looked at the kid one last time as I dipped my head down.

Hei Long.

GAH, that was painful, AOH! That stung. No time to think gotta survive. I prepared my self as the fifth bolt cam down. I cloaked myself once again in earth energy. The element of earth is extremely resistant to lightning but it still can't protect me. I readied myself, her comes, 3....2....1, hey isn't that twice as big as before?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

FUCK! The lightning slammed into me with full force. It tore my scales and burnt my skin. What the hell? I'm supposed to be immune to fire. The power kept coming for a good 10 seconds until it dispersed. Yes I feel my body starting to change. I activated my innate divine skill 'DRAGONIC RAGE' and flew straight towards the sixth bolt.

This wasn't as bad as before. If this keeps up then I can definitely survive. The next few bolts weren't as powerful but still hurt. After the eighth Bolt hit, the clouds turned crimson then dispersed upwards. They disintegrated into red lightning that did a 180 degree turn in the atmosphere and came crashing back down.

KAAAAABOOOOOOOOOM.

I was hit with full force. Most of my scales were broken at this point. I lost both my wings and left arm as well as one horn in that blast. The injuries I endure were enough to make even golden immortal kings tremble but I survived.

The nature energy took the form of red mist and entered my body forming a perfect 1st class immortal soul. I fell my power growing constantly. My injuries were all healed and then I got a notion. I could remain a pure beast and become 10 times as strong but loose the ability to meditate and stay cultivating like a magic beast or gain a extra human form. I chose that so I could meditate and cultivate faster.

I felt my entire body renewed and transformed into a true immortal though my aura surpassed most golden immortal kings. I truely owe senior a lot, he protected me and helped me. I used the nature energy to transform into my human form and flew towards the senior.

Pan Long pov

So, the kid succeeded. I deactivated plot armour and stood up. Before me appeared a middle age man in his late thirties and early forties with black hair and gold eyes, his hair was shoulder length and he wore black robes with golden dragon markings. There were some scales on his neck signifying that he was a dragon.

"Good, you should go and cultivate, I can sense you are close to an immortal king" me

"Yes, this junior is forever thankful to senior, if you need anything just contact me and I will rush to help though there isn't much I could do" him

"It is alright I only need you to safeguard this lake for me, it was once my home, use it as you see fit" me

"Hm, farewell" I turned ad flew off.

Random immortal pov

"Damn Samuel, that Hei Long became an immortal" ???

"It is alright Jason, he won't come pick a fight with us as long as we don't bother him" Samuel

"Yes but this would complicate things. Without the water we cannot continue our plan" Jason

"You are right, but maybe we can make a deal with him" Samuel

"Alright, but we need to get the equipment ready for the plan to commence" Jason

"Alright, men continue working for now. The gate should be ready soon" Samuel
