Prologue

Steps echoed through the grand hallway, each footfall resonating with purpose and determination. The man who walked the corridor wore flowing wizard clothes, his attire hinting at the arcane power he possessed. The hallway itself was a marvel of craftsmanship, its walls made of an unknown material that emitted a faint, ethereal blue light. Blue Crystals attached to the sides illuminated his path.

At the end of the hallway, the man entered a vast hall, its atmosphere shrouded in an air of enigma. The centerpiece of the room was a colossal table, adorned with thirty-six seats, each crafted in a unique style. Some seats were ornately carved from dark, ancient wood, while others gleamed with a futuristic metallic sheen. Each seat seemed to carry its own story, its own history.

As the man glanced around, he noticed that less than half of the seats were occupied, while the rest remained eerily empty. He sighed ‘The situation is direr than I thought’. The occupants were not all human, but they all bore the shape of humanoid beings. Unlike the man, who was undeniably human, these individuals hailed from diverse worlds and dimensions, each a leader in their own right. Ancient beings of immense power and knowledge. Some called them Demigods, Others called them Immortals.

As the meeting commenced, a voice laced with snark called out, teasing the man for his tardiness. The others seated at the table seemed lost in their own thoughts, some engaging in silent meditation while others simply observed with keen eyes. This meeting room was a gathering of titans, a convergence of formidable beings who held the fate of countless worlds in their hands.

The discussion revolved around a grave matter—the ongoing war with the Galactic alliance that had already claimed 23 of the worlds under their control. This merciless conflict had persisted for over twelve thousand years, a relentless battle between the two grand civilizations.

A regal figure, seated at the head of the table, spoke with a voice that carried the weight of centuries. "We cannot afford any more losses," she declared, her eyes glimmering with a mix of determination and sorrow. "The Galactic alliance forces are relentless, and their hunger for conquest knows no bounds."

A brooding demigod with an air of mystery interjected, his voice tinged with a touch of bitterness. "We must strike back with a force they have never witnessed," he proposed, his gaze piercing through the room. "Let them know that we are not mere playthings to be consumed. We are the guardians of life and the keepers of balance."

The youngest among them, a demigoddess brimming with fiery passion, rose from her seat, her eyes burning with fervor. "I propose a covert operation," she suggested, her voice echoing with enthusiasm. "Let us infiltrate their ranks, gathering intelligence and sowing discord within their ranks. We shall exploit their weaknesses and disrupt their unity."

A demigod of ancient wisdom, whose age was immeasurable, spoke next, his voice resonating with a profound calmness. "In times of war, unity is paramount," he emphasized. "We must find common ground, despite our differences, and forge alliances that transcend our individual worlds. Only then we can stand a chance against our enemy's insatiable hunger."

The discussions continued late into the night, each demigod offering their insights, strategies, and warnings. The atmosphere within the hall grew increasingly charged with urgency and determination, as they collectively sought to stem the tide of destruction that threatened to engulf the multiverse.

And amidst the conversations, the mysterious man listened intently, absorbing the knowledge and expertise shared by the demigods. His mind raced, weaving together fragments of information and formulating a plan that would utilize his unique set of skills.

Strategies were shared, alliances were forged, and plans were devised to turn the tide of this timeless conflict.

Once the meeting concluded, the mysterious man retreated to a quiet corner of the hall. His mind wandered, contemplating a project he has been working on as the last counter in case their loss became eminent.

The Astral Tower project.
