The Start of Summer Break - Chapter 1 - The Summer Showdown - Volume 3 - First Year

The bell had rung, signaling the start of summer break at Seidoukan Academy. Ryu, who had just finished his first year, walked out of the classroom with his best friend Masaru. They were discussing their plans for the summer when they saw Claudia, Ayato, and Julis walking towards them.

"Hey guys, what are you up to this summer?" Claudia asked.

"I'm planning to train and improve my skills," Ayato replied.

"I have some family trips planned," Julis said.

Masaru replied, "I'll be working at my family's restaurant."

Ryu thought for a moment and then said, "I'm not sure yet. I might visit my family in Japan for a while."

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

"That sounds fun. Do you want some company?" Claudia asked.

Ryu smiled, "Sure, I'd love the company."

The group said their goodbyes and went their separate ways. Ryu was excited about the prospect of spending some time in Japan with his family, but he also knew that there would be a lot of training to do. He was determined to come back to Seidoukan Academy stronger and better than ever.

As he walked through the school gates, Ryu bumped into a girl who dropped her books.

"I'm so sorry," Ryu apologized as he helped her pick up her books.

"It's okay," the girl replied. "My name is Sakura. I'm new here."

"I'm Ryu," he said with a smile.

Sakura looked at Ryu's uniform and said, "Oh, you go to Seidoukan Academy?"

"Yes, I do. Are you a student here too?"

Sakura nodded, "I just transferred here from another school."

Ryu thought for a moment and then asked, "Would you like me to show you around?"

Sakura smiled, "I would love that."

And so, Ryu and Sakura spent the rest of the day exploring Seidoukan Academy. As they walked around, Ryu couldn't help but feel that this summer was going to be different from any other. He had a feeling that something big was about to happen.
