Sol 33
"The battle bell has been rung. Something is attacking the wall."
Harlock stood, thinking about what to do. It was a critical decision to either help the fighters or to flee with the citizens.
Both have their downside. If he ran, he would be looked down upon by the citizens, but if he fought, there was a threat to his like, and if he guesses right, the thing attacking the wall was no ordinary monster but something strong.
' Guess I can see what is happening and might be able to help them a little bit.'
Harlock started to jog off towards the wall at an unhurried pace, unlike the guards who all charge past him, heading for the stairs up the wall.
As he got on the stairs, he was forced to move faster by the guards behind him. The guards needed to get to the top to help those fighting have a chance against whatever was up there.
As Harlock reached the top, he saw guards throwing spears down towards the ground, obviously trying to kill something.
He walked to the edge, looking down to see what was down there.
Down there was a Dinosaur with a big head and small arms.
'A T-Rex, huh.'
'System, can you show me its stats'
{Tyrannosaurus Rex
Weight: 7-8 tons
Height: 20 feet
Threat: SS
Description: Also Known as the king of dinosaurs for its ferocious nature. The species Tyrannosaurus rex (rex meaning "king" in Latin), often called T. rex or colloquially T-Rex, is one of the most well-represented of the large theropods. Tyrannosaurus lived throughout what is now western North America.}
'This is gonna be difficult.'
For now, it looks to be wandering outside the wall, not even trying to enter. The spears that are being thrown bounce off its skin like nothing happened at all.
Looking down towards the gate, he entered through; it was closed.
'How to deal with this... I guess I wait for the dino to make the first move.
Harlock sat waiting on the wall watching the guards panic try to figure out what to do.
Finally, after what seemed like hours of waiting, the dinosaur came closer to the wall. Taking in deep breathes, sniffing for something. The guards pelted more spears at the beast, and it finally started to notice.
'Damn, guards can never do anything themselves; Luckily, this dino has a major weakness. Get a solid strike to the back of the legs and tear the muscle it probably couldn't stand.'
Grabbing a rope lying off to the side, Harlock ties a quick, not that will secure the rope around something.
Throwing it over one of the arrow slots on the top of the wall, he secures it. Throwing the dangling end over the edge towards the ground. He hops on the top of the wall and starts to descend down the 40-foot wall.

The guards at the top, realizing what he is doing, start to yell at him to come back up, and it's not safe down there.
He continues down at a rapid pace. In less than 30 seconds, his feet are on the ground.
He turns around to face the T-Rex. In the T-Rexes eye, you can see him saying, 'How dare you a puny human come down here and face me alone.'
They stand there, staring at each other for a good while. At this point, the guards above had stopped throwing spears and were just watching Harlock stare down this beast that literally induced nightmares.
[Guard] How can he make that? Stand-alone against something like that.
[Guard 2] He must be one of those legendary warriors that fight for the guild on triple S rated missions.
With a smile on his face underneath his grey helm, Harlock pulled his katana from his side.
With his right foot in front of his left behind at a 10-degree angle. His katana held with the tip pointing towards the T-Rex at a slight right angle.
The two opponents stood at a 25-yard distance waiting.
With a 'hpme.' The T-Rex took its stance and charged.
Harlock also charged, just not at full speed. When the T-Rex turned its head sideways with its mouth open, Harlock slid baseball-style right through the T-Rex's legs.
When he was at where the two legs stood, he used his left leg to push him into the air and to the left. Spinning in the air, he shot out his right hand, the one with the katana in it. Using the spin's strength, he sliced at the leg, tearing through the leg muscles of the dino. After finishing the spin, he landed on his feet. Sliding backward a couple of feet. The T-Rexes leg collapsed, not able to hold its weight. Falling to the right side with a thud.
This all happened in a matter of milliseconds, and only a few of the more experienced of the guards caught what truly happened.
[Recruit] What the hell happened? He just slid under it, and it fell. He must have special powers or something.
[Veteran Soldier] Not quite. What he did was perfectly normal. It just happened so fast that you could not see the true extent of what he just did.
[Recruit] Oh ya, and what did he do?
Now, most of the soldiers were listening to what he had to say.
[Veteran soldier] When he slid under the monster, he launched himself to the side, spinning mid-air. Once he was in the air, he used the spin to put more power in his swing and sliced it through the back leg.
[Recruit 2] That doesn't sound so hard.
[Veteran] hahaha hahaha, You fool you could not do that in a thousand years. First, your reflexes have to be faster than an arrow leaving a bow. You would have to be strong enough to push yourself into the air while sliding and doing a spin, and lastly, you have to know the bodies of the creature so well that you can slice through only the muscle and nothing else. You see that sword he has in his hand. It is very thin.
[Recruit] Ya, what about it?
[Veteran] If that solid hits a solid bone which that monster will snap in half like a twig. Meaning he is one of the best swordsmen you have ever seen.
Harlock walked towards the T-Rex. Its body was flailing around, trying to get back up. Harlock stood over just beyond the reach of every part of the T-Rexes body. Waiting for it to tire out. The soldiers stood atop the wall watching in awe.
At long last, the T-Rex stopped moving. It wasn't dead, but it was close. The cut that Harlock had sliced had gone through an artery, meaning it was losing blood fast and was also tiring out.
Harlock walked up to its head, looking down at the T-Rex. It was scared; you could see it in the look of his eye.
[Harlock} "It almost over."
He brought his Katana up over the eye and brought it down fast. Piercing it into his brain and, with a twist, killed it.
He pulled the sword out of its eye and closed its eye.
Atop the wall, the soldiers cheered for the victory.
"FOOLS ALL OF YOU SHUT UP" shouted Harlock
Immediately everyone went quiet.
[Harlock] All of you take a knee and honor the mighty beast that has fallen. He ruled his domain with absolute power. He fought for everything to become what he was. He deserves to be honored. HE IS A TRUE WARRIOR.
You could hear the clank of metal as all the soldiers set down their weapons and their armor hit the ground.
The Silence was deafening. Everyone was on their knees honoring the fallen warrior, including Harlock.
Harlock stood along with all the soldiers on the wall. The tension in the air was palpable. Still, no one said a thing.
Harlock started to walk across the field towards the gate. The chains rattled as it pulled the gate upward.
Harlock walked through and disappeared inside of the city.
[Recruit] "Why would he have us honor a monster that terrorized us?" The recruit directed the question towards the veteran.
[Veteran] It is said that true warrior respect every opponent they fight for they know the hardships that their foe has gone through." said the veteran solemnly
[Veteran 2] I hear it is especially present up in the northeast.
[Recruit] So you think he is from one of the northern tribes
[Veteran] Who knows? It seems he moves around a lot and could have picked it up anywhere. All we know is that he is a legendary warrior that can bring monsters down in seconds, alone, where it could take normal humans days to kill something like that.
