Elijah Snow's PoV
Not even glancing at the blue screens popping up in existence, I just continued to run. I ran until I was completely alone. While running I had sometimes heard the screams of men, women and children but I never stopped. Only when the day started darkening did I stop to rest, only now did I notice the pain in my shoulder and my stomach screaming for attention.
I took of my backpack and pulled a part one of the blankets binding a strip around my shoulder stopping the bleeding and as a somewhat protection against infections.
With one of my problems taken care of I started inspecting my surroundings the trees had lessened in numbers and small hills were gathered around me. I could also hear the miniature sound of water flowing. I once again equipped my bag and started walking towards the sound of water.
Maybe 10 - 20 minutes of walking I encountered a river about 10 m wide with crystal clear water. I could see the fishes playing in the water, as on que my stomach once again ached for food. Remembering the last food I ate was the breakfast Megumi chan cooked my eyes instantly turned cold not allowing the grief taking control of me.
Searching the edge of the forest I found a decent stick which I sharpened with my knife. Once again heading back to the river to catch some dinner I heard something on the other side of the bushes. Stopping in my tracks I sneaked my way towards the river, hidden in the bushes I saw them.
Three men around 30-40 years old with blood covering their clothes sat by the river surrounding a newly lit fire. By the way they moved and laughed I could tell the blood didn't belong to them. In the lap of the closest man was a girl seemingly around my age. Her feet were bound by ropes and her hands were bound behind her back. Heightening my concentration I start listening in on their conversation.
"Haahahah but Boss, I can't believe we were teleported to this forest right after being put in prison!! I swear god himself is on our side."
Said the greasy skinny man sitting to the left. While looking at the bulky man sitting towards the right staring into the fire, he sneered.
"Shut up you fool, couldn't you see those... those things?? Their claws was freaking bigger than my arm! Thank god we met you mister."
'Boss' said with admiration and a hint of jealousy in his eyes staring at the man with the girl in his lap, gently caressing the girls breasts.
"Hahahahh no worries, you guys would have done the same if you also had a knife with you. Too bad we had to leave so many hot girls behind though, atleast I got this one. Heh boys I'm gonna... take her for a test spin."
They all laughed a bit and 'mister' rose to his feet. But suddenly their previous happy go lucky faces turned ugly.
"Boss d-do you feel that? Why d-did it get cold all o-of a sudden?"
Yet when the greasy man turned to look at 'Boss' he could see even 'Boss' had a dumbfounded expression while staring at the river.

Boss POV
"Boss d-do you feel that? Why d-did it get cold all o-of a sudden?"
I heard Danny asking me a question but I was to shocked to answer. How could it possibly get so cold so quickly?!
Standing up I hear cracking underneath my feet... frost?
'Fuck is this some kind of game?! NO! The magical box said it would start in month!'
While cursing this god damn world I suddenly felt a cold wind hit my neck, turning around I saw something... impossible.
"The river's f-freezing?"
The previously crystal clear river is slowly but surely becoming crystal clear ice. My breath has already turned visible and then I felt it.
Thousand insects crawling down my spine, a feeling I haven't had since my father rap... no, this ain't no memory lane. Turning around expecting the worse I see.. something coming from the now pitch black forest and the previous chill paralyses me.
Ascending from the dark is a boy, tall, blonde hair and dressed in red... no h-he's covered completely in blood. His seemingly harmless blue eyes sweeping pass me made my body shudder. Move! Move! MOVE FOR FUCK SAKE! I inwardly scream at my body to move but as if I'm bound by chains I can't even move my lips.
"W-who are you boy?"
I hear a voice besides me, Yes! Mister! If anyone can get us out from here it's Mister!
"Shut up."
A calm yet ice cold voice was heard coming from boy in front of us. I felt anger boiling inside me. This brat! Wait until Mister fights you I'm going to personally chop off your fingers. Hmpf.

Why doesn't Mister do anything?!
Forcing my head through sheer willpower to turn I see Mister, eyes full of defiance but... something is wrong? Why doesn't he even blink, he looks like a statue of some sort.

I FEEL MY TOES TURNING INTO ICE FUCK!!! Turning my head around once more and
I see the brat staring at my toes his blue eyes emitting a faint strain of azure blue light. And a smile indicating the end crept onto his face. He lifted his gaze and I felt frost on my skin when he looked at me.
Walking towards me he equipped a knife and even before I could see him raise the knife everything went black...

"W-who are you boy?"
Before even thinking about it I had left my bushes, disgusting humans raping women.. it was people like them which killed Stra.... Ichigo. Fuck I feel such rage it's like something inside of my itches to chop them up and.. eat them? Naa I'm not a cannibal.. weird.
'Oh I've just stood here for a while but they still haven't attacked me?'
Focusing my gaze on 'Mister' which long ago dropped the girl he was carrying, I was shocked to discover frost growing where I looked. And as on que a *Ding* echoed through my consciousness.

Testing out my ability I focus on one of the scumbags toes and hear a refreshing scream of agony... refreshing?
Anyways getting tired of the situation I start walking towards the cry baby and then it happened.
He died.
Just like that.
Well quickly finishing off the other two I notice they've already frozen solid.
Standing there looking at the river I feel the temperature once again increase to normal. Looking at the starry night sky I feel.. empty.
Cutting out an ice cube of fish I start grilling it on the fire. After eating I felt the fatigue hit me.
'What a terrible day..'
Leaning back into the now dried up grass I close my eyes. Feeling an ice cold tear running down my cheek I fall asleep...
